Wow, that was… underwhelming to say the least. Music Rally and Music Replay were some of the cringiest things I’ve ever seen.

Also, I played GT Sport literally a minute before the show just to be blown away by the visuals, but I wasn’t. I think it actually looked worse at times?

The only impressive thing was the time/weather technology. That was pretty dope.
For real, I can't believe those are the only new features in a brand new game...

Gonna be a lot of rewatching to catch all of that! Engine swaps, 964, I saw Radical at the dealership, it keeps going...
Pretty much everything I wanted to see, dynamic time with stars, picking your own opponents for custom races (!!?).
Overwhelmed!

Game looks good, sounds good, plays good (dual sense), has dynamic tod/weather, has lots of content (will get updates later as mentioned), loads super fast and has that OG GT feel. Can't wait for March 4 to fire up my 25 years anniversary edition.

So I guess this confirms that the Greek leak were also just not listening to the NDA but also possibly not understanding the FPS info or at least not getting the whole story.

I saw 4K 60fps with 30fps ray tracing (also lots of draw too) in gameplay & 4K 60fps with 60fps ray tracing in replays.

I expected GT Cafe to show you the history of some cars,i didn't expect Kaz take the idea to its fullest having the car designers pop up talking about the cars.
Imagien going to have a coffee with the guy who made the R34 and he starts telling you how he came up with it.It's neat and kinda wacky idea that PD would totally do
Also,i'm starting to think that if you get Kaz to talk about cars he will eventually go on a tangent about stars and planets and how it relates to car art 😂

First impressions. The graphics and physics are just insane! Car suspension, tyre model, RT... so good. The weather system is very impressive. Tuning... I didn't expect so many options for tuning! Colour chips are linked to car brands, finally! Decals on the glass are very welcome. GT Cafe looks sexy - designers talking about cars, collecting and history... this is very exciting.

Not clear about career mode and how in-depth the race customizer is, but at least we can customize something! Drag racing, drift... all good.

Pretty bumped that basically, the only new addition to the game is Music rally... kinda underwhelming. And what is going with the UI??? Have you seen that music points counter? WTF is this? I hope this is not the final version. Some part are just horrible and feels out of place. Why do fonts have to be so big?

Washing already clean car is back lol.

Oh, and widebody kit installation animation is pure gold. I laughed so hard.

...did anyone else see that final replay of the X2019 race at High Speed Ring or am I just imagining things? That was one of the worst showcases of AI in a racing game ever. Last to first in about half a lap? Why would anyone put that in a launch event? No wonder every single other race was catch the rabbit, the AI is still as abysmal as it's always been. All of the other features look phenomenal but I'm scared the game will just end up feeling empty again after about a month, because there's no racing in it. Then again, that's how you know it'll be a classic Gran Turismo game.

In terms of atmosphere I think this just very well might be the greatest game I've ever seen. Period. The feel I got from the menus and music, the visuals, the replay angles, the UI, etc. all of it is top-class like usual.

Music rallies seem incredibly dumb and I don't see the point at all besides showing off the new AI-generated replays. It's good that those can be used for any replay though and not just that.

Car customization is insane. Engine swaps, roll cages, widebodies, the sheer number of performance parts. You can truly make whatever you want in this game it seems. The GT Auto boys pulling the car apart to widen it was brilliant and I laughed for like a solid minute afterwards.

Custom grids are very nice too, always wanted that ever since the secret menu in GT5.

Unfortunately the AI still drives like it just recently learned what a car is, so I think that's going to hurt my overall enjoyment of the game.

I actually love that idea. Having actual people who designed the car talk to them, it's awesome.

They published at 10.30am instead of 10.30pm. The current version of Wordpress is a bit of a bitch for scheduling posts like that.
Got to hate it when the computer can’t tell the time. I try this when I’m late for work and blame my iPhone alarm for not going off.

I'm both happy and disappointed at the same time.

Happy about seeing more returns including some really nice stuff from GT's past like the Nissan 240ZG, Plymouth Superbird, Autobianchi Abarth A112, Renault R5 Turbo, and Peugeot 205 Rally Car. Thrilled about the custom grids, I can now truly create my own custom events and make use of every car in this upcoming game. (I'm basically going to recreate every event from GT1-4) The weather looked beautiful, rather excited if Kaz was true on his word on tire reactions to different weather (about time they implement this when sims like AC and Project Cars, already implemented it), the customization looked pretty amazing and look at the body kits they shown. The 930 Porsche 911 Turbo has Ruf bumpers, the 3.0 CSL BMW has it's Group 5 Racer aero, they just looked the business. That photo mode looked like the most in-depth photomode I have seen. Yes, I don't need it as I have Affinity Photo, but I was excited about it all the same.

My disappointments honestly stem from the career mode now introducing many new features, at least so far. I see drag racing, but I don't know if that's going to be something you can do outside the career or not. That's my concern. The lack of new tracks being shown is a bit concerning. Yes, Kaz said they're adding more in DLC and I have faith based on my experience in GT Sport that they'll keep at it, but they should've started with some new tracks. Another issue I see is that there weren't many newer cars presented either. I love classic cars for sure and I'm going to be trying each one I've seen, but they have to balance nostalgia with new stuff and I didn't see enough balance.
