Has anyone checked the livery transfers?

Sure, I can use the liveries that I made in GTS as long as they were made by a certain date. Can I still edit said liveries?

When a game-studio / publisher tries to censor gameplay-videos, thats always a bad sign for the quality of the game.
Seems they are afraid of something.

Hope GT7 will not be in a row with Cyberpunk, Battlefield 2042 and GTA Remaster

From what i have seen now, to me its like GT Sport 2.0

Just more content and dynamic weather, but visuals are mostly the same. Maybe because of PS4 limitation.
I wonder if the GT Sophy AI which is planned for an update will be exclusive to the PS5 version if that's truly the case, with PS4 processing power being the main bottleneck

Sony had leaked footage of The Last of Us 2 removed, as well as Rockstar on Red Dead Redemption2. The game isn't supposed to be out yet, that's why footage is being taken down. It happens with all big releases.

I can understand this point of view but talking about spoilers is kind of a non sense since there is no intrigue whatsoever in this game. If you feel peacefull about waiting for the full release then avoid the specialized forums for some days before the 4th, it is my advice. I will not feel responsible myself for telling someone what is the framerate or the display resolution on the PS4pro version of the game... But yeah I will not myself watch the intro some place else than on my own TV set sure... But talking about spoilers is a bit fussy. Just say you want to experience the game by yourself. Same as I want but I do not care about being reveled any type of the game the content since I already know what to expect from this Gran Turismo entry. I just want to know if I can do and experience the same game on my PS4 as those on PS5 can do that is all I want to know.... IGN or Polygon note's does not interest me the slightest

@NanoSaibou
Once you get back to playing GT7, any chance you could check any of the safety cars for me. And the controller button mapping.

I'd like to know if us players can finally control the warning lights while we are driving. As in is there a dedicated function for warning lights in the button mapping as there is for other lights.

And if possible take one out on toa track and see if the lights are always on.

Please?

For the visual parts, other than the rain effects (or specifically windshield), dunno if it's the game's fault or that now, there are no huge jump in graphics anymore like the obvious pixeled PS1 to PS2 and that now the graphics realism in gaming have reached the maximum....

Alright, I'll respect people that don't want to see content of GT7 at all until March 4th when discussing things. With that said, there's something a commenter on my Twitter account pointed out to me about one car that I actually find strange.
The new Nissan Z confirmed for GT7 oddly enough is left hand drive instead of right hand drive. Meaning it could be the USDM version versus the JDM version. I mainly find this odd because I'm used to Polyphony Digital adding the RHD version of any japanese car into their games. That's epecially apparently with the previous gen Zs. Yes, there's US-Spec ones in the series, but they're typically not actually the USDM car. PD just puts a USDM badge on their JDM model and call it a day before. I.E. The Nissan 240SXs are still using the JDM body and performance figures versus.

Generational leaps are more noticeable when compared to two generations ago. There's huge differences from PS3 to PS5.

😅 I feel like I'm not hardcore enough to give any meaningful impressions but I could possibly post screenshots, assuming that's not against the rules here. I've been seeing some other folks have been getting notified of their game shipping sooner on Reddit as well.
I am sure we will take whatever you would/could provide.
Enjoy the game!

2017 GTR on GTSport was also USDM and LHD

Graphics have nowhere near reached the maximum. Look at the matrix UE5 demo to see what we have to look forward to and that’s only in the short term.

The original 2017 GT-R Premium Edition was also a US-spec model. Other cars that were said to be US-spec models, from what I've seen, would also likely be the Genesis G70 (in the US, it was said to be a 2022 year model machine).

i think the only factor why gt7 and gtsport look close or the same is because if you saw the older games there are always 2 consecutive games that use the same engine and looks the same (GT1/GT2, GT3/GT4, more remarkably GT5/GT6) and the second is always just the first one but much much better

The difference between cutscenes and gameplay has never been so big IMO. Cars look amazing but as soon as it's on track during gameplay, everything looks dull. FH5 has many flaws but the graphics are insane on my PC. So far, I'm not impressed by the gameplay of GT7. Oh and the jump between GT2 and GT3 is probably the greatest next gen experience in my life of gamer.

FH5 flaws?

So... Regarding the UI, the best comparison we can make, is that GTS is like Windows 10, and GT7 is like Windows 11, almost the same but more polished and a rounder aesthetic.

Maybe these questions have been asked and I missed it, nonetheless…

  • is FOV adjustable?
  • is FFB for wheel users mo’ betta?
  • tire model…. Better?
  • can you have the driver look towards the apexes in cockpit view like ACC and Project Cars?
  • did they fix the non-linear throttle and brake?
Also, wanted to add to this, if we’re able to map buttons and dials on our rims much more liberally than PD let us in GTS

I'm not fussed if it gets taken down, in my own selfish corner I don't want to see anything outside of official media until I get my hands on it. I'll read some of the reviews from my trusted sources but not in depth, again, until after I've played it. I know people don't understand this and talking about spoilers in a movie context but it's about experience for me. I don't want to go in to playing the game feeling like I've already seen the opening few hours. Made that mistake before. Yes you can choose not to click on it but with such an anticipated title it's very difficult not to.

I've also mentioned before with this sort of thing, spoilers can come in all forms, things that weren't expected or announced, hidden items, we've seen that before in GT4, 5 and 6. And then the more regular but still exciting things to discover like the intro (always a big thing with GT games), the widebody kits and so on.

Everyone will obviously have a different feeling, I'm sure many just want to see everything and know everything before it comes out regardless of whether it will dampen the enjoyment of discovery and others will probably ban themselves from here and mute Gran Turismo hashtags on Twitter.

Thank you.

FH5 flaws?
Yes, it's flawed as heck. There's a lot of online related bugs and some of them are really bothersome.

The treasure chest missions for instance sometimes don't work for players, it happened to me last week, you can easily get kicked out of servers, there were constant connection problems at launch for players, and one of my favorites is the fact the game crashes for installing a livery onto a car.

@Savolainen83 I am pretty sure someone (probably on this thread) said you could map all the buttons. I may have seen it on Reddit though
After watching the gamer last night on Twitch, he went through the option menus, Wheel/controller options appears to be the same as in GT Sport plus maybe some additional wheel support, so mapping should be a given.
