The new Alsace rollercoaster turn reminds me a lot of Norway's Atlantic Ocean Road. It looks unrealistically steep from some angles but it's not that bad when you actually drive on it. IMO, it would be better if PD actually modelled the actual road, or have a new fictional circuit set in Norway instead of shoehorning it into Alsace where it doesn't fit. Seems like PD is just desperate to boost the track count with minimum effort.

Driveclub had tracks like these in the same location albeit less extreme than the one pictured.

Bore-ups, anti-lag, widebody kits, paintable roll cages, lip kits compatible with widebody kits, headlight adjustments, tow hooks, a massive rim selection, offset and wheel width adjustment options, at least some engine swaps....

Customization-wise, they've smashed it.
Seeing all this customisation, the fields should be looking like Improved Production all the time

But... didn't you say it there that, some cars only have the lip changed in Aero Kits such as Supra? (iirc was tha considered lackluster in GT5/GT6's customization aspects) Wide Body being compartible with the Aero Kits seem to show that Wide Body makes smaller changes than expected?

But the massive rim selection, it's great to have GT now allows all rims like GT2-4. Not being limited such as GT5.

Some are substantial and render the lip kits obsolete, some are basically rolled arches.

What's struck me though, is that far more cars are eligible for widebody kits than I expected. In the streams I've watched it seems like the vast majority of cars can have them fitted.

It's not a case of seeing the option greyed out for all but about ten cars, a bit like the RM option in GT5; instead it seems very widespread.

I think Driveclub replicated quite precisely this portion of road actually. That was quite a long time ago I can be wrong. The picture exagerates the real inclination of the road.

Expect a gazillion of them and the Fujiwara-86 (in awful quality) to flood the gallery the day the AE86 gets in the UCD :scared:
Not sure what you mean exactly, but it's not just going to show up in the UCD one day. The UCD cycle is based on how much one has played the game, just like in previous entries. It'll show up countless times for people who play the game often.

I fail to see how chili fruits properly symbolize difficulty. I’d say difficulty should have been color-coded like ski slopes. Small thing, but every little annoyance here and there adds up.

Ah I haven't watched any gameplay yet and thought the UCD would cycle on an irl 24h base.

It's almost embarrassing how excited I am about headlight customizations. I've tried my best to stay away from the streams so perhaps this has already been revealed (somewhat), but I am curious to find out how much of the car list features the full extent of customization like this. Only a few days to tell.

I haven't watched any either to confirm but I was under the impression we'd see a return to GT5's "Master List" system for the UCD, with every player starting off at a randomized point on the list.

They're commonly used to show how hot/spicy food is on restaurant menus; the fewer chillis, the "easier" it is to eat.

It's something a lot more people can relate to a lot more easily than, say, ski slope grading. And you also don't run into the issue of black being bad.

If the sun reflection would be like this in real life on cars, everybody would crash in traffic.
It... is.

Yes, “eat”. That’s kinda the small problem with these fruits because eating is not what Gran Turismo is about. I know there is a cafe in the game serving cars on menu cards, but still.

Black being hard (not bad) is the logic used on ski slopes. Weather forecasts don’t use black to symbolize something bad like wind intensity. It typically goes from green (breeze) to dark red or purple (hurricane), so GT could do that as well.
