or turn the Porsche 911 GT1 street version in the game into the 1997 Evo Racer model and pin it against the CLK-GTR and F1 GTR Longtail. Now that brings some creativity with races.
In the opening video there is 1998 911 GT1 Race Car changing tyres in pit...
Man I love that car I really hope it comes in future...

I'm gonna mute gaming mentions on Twitter soon. Who knew console fanbases could be so ruinous to gaming. Forza and GT fanboys are all as bad as eachother and as much as it can be comical, it's also infuriating.

Best one I've seen today is a Forza fanboy criticising GT7 for reusing assets from GTS. Like Forza isn't still using 10 year old car models that are inaccurate.

Nearly 20 year old models for a few of them...

I’m starting to see honestly it’s just peoples ego and it’s sad.. you enjoy Forza that’s cool man… or you enjoy GT that’s great!! Nah it can’t be that.. it’s gotta be my game is better than yours Kaz didn’t do this which really affects my life so I gotta come on GTP and let him have it!! It’s sad bro really.. I’m always down for a good debate and learned from people that I don’t always agree with but some people are just like a little over the top… been a member on here for sometime and never ever thought about using the ignore function til today!

Yeah, it's a real problem and I see these comments on some of my own posts. Even though I just want to showcase the fun side of each game. Like look at what bumpers I can put on my Lancer Evolution or hey, FH5 now has a Mustang SVO.

But Twitter devolves into pointless console tribalism. I tried discussing with some of them, but they were too stubborn to listen to me. Although, there were points were I got into good conversations with players.

With this said, I can see a bright side with choosing cars from your garage. That could mean you can race against cars you modified potentially. Which could mean if you made some Gr.A rally car replicas with some of the cars like the Celica GT-Four or Subaru Impreza 22B for instance, you could then make your own Gr.A Rally car race event.

EDIT: Also, I couldn't resist looking at some of the custom parts available for some of the cars I bought already. I kinda like these.
The Lancer Evo. VI TME can have the normal Evo VI front bumper and taillights. Kinda a reverse on what you can do with the Evo. VI GSR in Forza.

Just in case you didn't know, you can do a license plate delete. Though only on the front bumper sadly.

The Evo. V GSR can have its foglights covered, like on the Rally Car. It also has flared wheel arches for a widebody kit, so you can recreate the rally car for the most part.

Like the Evo. VI, it too can have its taillights altered for if you wanted it to look like the RS version I guess or the Mine's Evo V.

The Subaru Impreza Type R can have a less agressive bodykit, I'm guessing more like the 1998 Type R.

It also has alternate spoilers similar to the earlier STIs or the WRX models. Something to keep in mind if you wanted a more normal looking Impreza.

the Porsche 964 Carrera RS has a spoiler like on the Turbo S and one like on the 1970s Carrera RS. Sadly no custom wings available.

That's exactly what I plan on doing, part of the reason why i'm frustrated with the Vintage dealer not updating.

I was excited to unlock the Nordschleife this morning, a little too excited. :embarrassed:

Track looks great though, from any angle.

Man...the game seems super stingy with credits. Out of 10+ roulette tickets I've gotten one that gave me 10k and the rest were always the lowest payout, which are 2-5k...Anyone else having better luck? Are they trying to force people to consider buying credits with real money? Haven't played a GT game much since GT5, so maybe this is normal.

Also, since the funds are extremely limited, what are some of the key cars that would be good to get or maybe just try to minimize buying anything until all the cafe menus are complete?

Definitely get all the free menu cars first. The circuit experience gives pretty good credits compared to the races.

I have to say it's really awesome to race against visually modified ai in races. It definitely gives the game a best motoring race vibe that I love.

Finally done with the damn menu books. Watching the end credits as of now. Let the real game begin, haha!

Anyone found a good race to grind for credits yet? :dopey:

Yeah the roulette tickets are stingy. I'm on book 22 now and got several tickets but only won something other than the lowest payout credits once. And that item I won? A sports suspension kit for the 2016 Clio. :grumpy:

I have been invited to buy the road-going Citroen GT for a million credits, but I think it's wise to not buy any cars at all before you've finished earning all prize cars. After all you might end up buying something that gets gifted to you later anyway, potentially wasting a ton of credits in the process.

Yeah, I have noticed the UCD being slower on updates than in the past games. I think that might be due to some of the cars being really expensive and they want players to have a chance in buying cars they want.

Noticed quite a bit of environmental pop-in on Suzuka on PS5, anybody else noticing this? Didn't expect to see that at all on the current-gen release.

Anyone notice that AI car’s sound positioning is off? Seems like the car sound is a bit behind the actual car positioning, so sometimes will be next to you but based on sound you’d think you already passed it. This is with headphones and 3D audio and audio settings on 7.1. Maybe we are supposed to use stereo instead?
