I'm....actually kinda surprised how much im enjoying the game. I like the Cafe book missions which is different and the game actually feels like a grind which has been missing since gt4. That's a good thing. I preorderd the game so the game started me off with $100,000 credits and the most I have had in the bank so far is $300,000. After playing the game all day on release day (I had the day off from work lol) and playing a little bit this morning before I left for work I feel like I'm just scratching the surface. Still wish there was more tracks featured in the game right from the jump. I'm really enjoying the game overall though. The game feels very polished and crisp

I'm grateful that PD ditched all of the old Lenny Ibizarre's music. Lenny Ibizarre is still present, but these songs are much better, fortunately!

So GT7 just brought back a whole lot of memories when I hopped in a race and saw this AI. Basically a near identical replica of what the racing modification made the Corvette look like in GT1!

Nope. I’m currently doing the Asia-Oceania Championship for the first time.
Well... I have, and I'm at the point where the UCD is supposed to change daily... but mine looks identical to yours:

Interesting...

I was going to start a UCD-tracking thread with the above, but I'll have to put a pause on it I guess...

Jesus that’s pricey for a Celica. GTRs and Supras have at least vaguely followed real life trends, but this is like 3-4 times the price you’ll find in even the nicest unmodified low-mileage WRC editions.

Yeah, I’m just at the start of the Ford Collection and this just popped up in my UCD

To add, I think the UCD changes at midday for me. Or everyone?

I had a couple of hours with it on Friday and a couple more today. Also enjoying those daft Menus, it does lighten the grind. I have to admit I preordered the 25th anniversary version, but I'm doing well resisting the temptation to just spend the million credits on something really fast. I might save it for paint.

Yup, the A.I. are definately tougher in the clubman plus races and in the gr.3 races. I can't beat those right now.
With that said, I collected a BMW 3.0 CSL. I'll show it soon.

Seriously, I entered my Castrol Tom's Supra in that event and it was a struggle through the whole event and some A.I. cars were actually challenging me. I almost got 4th place on the final lap, but lost a battle on the final turn to a Ford GT LM Spec II.

Interesting. Have you finished all the Menu Books?
I have only gotten up to the French championship at Alsace and have got the same UCD. There have been a few cars shift I have noticed but not a whole dealer refresh like previous GT's

I used my Castrol Tom’s in that menu book No. 32 (Race of Turbo Sportcars limited to PP700 to unlock the Supra Collection). I guess PD forgot to add the #road car restriction there.:D The Tom’s comes at 721-ish PP so I only dialed back its ECU from 100% to 81% to end up at 699.xx PP. Needless to say I absolutely slaughtered the AI who came in some tuned road cars. Do I feel guilty about that? Hell no! It’s some sweet sweet revenge for some of the license test horrors I had to endure to get gold.

Wait, book #32? You mean there's at least 32 books in the menu?! o_O

EDIT: I think the clean race bonus is a bit lose. In one race, I crashed into 2 guard rails and still got the bonus. I mean, it wasn't too hard, but I definitely heard a thump both times.

EDIT 2: It happened again! I crashed my Renault Clio on the final chicane on Alsace and I still got a clean race bonus. Also, I really hate that final chicane!

One thing interesting I never knew, and has no doubt been mentioned somewhere (but I haven't seen it) - but the used car dealership seems to be identical for everyone (or at least per region?). I was just on chat with my brother in law who lives 6 hours away. We checked the used car lot, and the order and prices and cars were 100% identical.

We were wondering if maybe the 'low stock' is because there is a virtual number for sale, and they switch that car when that virtual amount of cars is gone.

Like I said, maybe this has been noted already, if so my apologies

I think 'low stock' let's you know it's the last day it's available. By day I mean IRL day, I think generally it and the legendary dealer updates at a set time every 24hrs? With the cars from cafe menus added or removed depending on which one you're doing. That would mean everyone sees the same used car dealer, sort of like how the GT Sport Mileage Exchange was the same for everyone.

*Edit - this was supposed to be in response to @Benny44 above but I messed up the reply/quote thing and yeah
