I’ve finished all of the menu books, and I’m rather disappointed that - in terms of ‘standard’ (non-mission) Gran Turismo racing, that appears to be it, the few extra World Circuits single races aside.

Even the very last championship, the GT World Series, only requires a National A licence, which gives me some hope that the ‘new World Circuit events’ means the other half of career.

If that’s it though, my word we need some high-earning dailies stat!

I noticed that E. Brown was driving the DeLorean during a race at Willow Springs. I think it was for the Camaro SS.

I think 'low stock' let's you know it's the last day it's available. By day I mean IRL day, I think generally it and the legendary dealer updates at a set time every 24hrs? With the cars from cafe menus added or removed depending on which one you're doing. That would mean everyone sees the same used car dealer, sort of like how the GT Sport Mileage Exchange was the same for everyone.

*Edit - this was supposed to be in response to @Benny44 above but I messed up the reply/quote thing and yeah
Yeah, I was definitely wrong on when they update. But it is interesting we have the same dealerships. The two of us are on very different cafe books too

One thing interesting I never knew, and has no doubt been mentioned somewhere (but I haven't seen it) - but the used car dealership seems to be identical for everyone (or at least per region?). I was just on chat with my brother in law who lives 6 hours away. We checked the used car lot, and the order and prices and cars were 100% identical.

We were wondering if maybe the 'low stock' is because there is a virtual number for sale, and they switch that car when that virtual amount of cars is gone.

Like I said, maybe this has been noted already, if so my apologies
Was the white NSX out of stock for you aswell?

Well not Every car, there’s isn’t one for the Mazda Atenza Sedan, but there IS one for the Willy’s Jeep.

You can also take the roof off and even add a wire cutter pole on the front. :odd:
Lmao, I ****in love this game. Give me a track creator, a few more tracks and tyre temperature and it's perfect

Speaking of customization, does anyone know if you can put the Evo aero package on the FXXK? I was thinking about buying it but I don't like how the normal version looks

My dealership last time I looked was the same as those people have screenshotted recently except for the Civic Touring Car not having arrived yet, but I haven't been on in about 8hrs. I expect when I next go on I'll see it too. It's interesting I guess, means that some cars might not roll around for a very long time for anyone.
Of course, I'm just guessing based on so many people seemingly seeing the same used cars, and in the pre-launch streams etc. everyone having the same used cars and legend cars as each other at the same time too (outside of what was required by cafe menus).

I wonder if super low mileage cars are going to show up in used car dealership, like in GT4 with the 6.2 mile or 10km used cars.

I just found a honda civic type r (ek) touring car in the used car dealership.

I got a Civic TC also.

And this was probably answered already, but how do you transfer decals and liveries from Sport to 7? Do you have to export from Sport?

It would be better if they Friends, do you have requests that you think would be much better if the following were added as content in the Gran Turismo series. I would like to list a few. Buying, selling and making offers with other people online or with your GT7 owner friends in used vehicle purchases and sales. Most Japanese or British cars are added to the game with right hand drive. Bringing a choice when purchasing the car and driving the car with left or right hand drive. (some car manufacturers only have right-hand drive cars produced specifically for that country, but why not such a feature) The multimedia in some vehicles is either blank or the logo of the emblem of the car brand. It would be nice to be able to see information about the vehicle on the screens there. We could change the horn of our vehicles in GT5. (I haven't received the game yet, maybe there is :() Stock vehicles can add multiple different Stock wheel and bumper options to the game. It adds variety. The reason why there were 1200+ vehicles in GT6 was that most Japanese car manufacturers added the same car to the game in different years, with different engine features, causing so many vehicles to appear. But I think this is a very good thing, there are already 2 new cases of Supra in the game, and the difference between them is one 2019 and one 2020, and the differences in very few engines. Some GR3 in GT7. GR4. The stock versions of the vehicles are not in the game. There is a BMW M6 GT3, but it is not in stock. It would be great if the game made us use all the tools in the game. There were a lot of cars in GT6, but there was no event to use them all or we were playing the same races over and over. I mostly like to race with stock vehicles and only yesterday I used GR3 GR4 vehicles to win a medal in the GTS (I didn't like it at all) I just used it to advance in the game and I really liked it. In the career mode or if there are Cup races or missions specific to each vehicle, both the playing time will increase in the game and everyone can try different vehicles and increase their fun in the game. Of course, everyone wants more car brands. Volvo, Rover, Saab... Racing events that should be added to the game. BTCC, Nascar, did the used car sales section online.

Well I also don't have all the decals I had on GTS unfortunately...
Yeah it's a bummer that they reset your custom decal collection, but I can understand the reasoning. Even when the decals carried over to GT7 you still have to reshare them. That's what I've been doing slowly for my own large gallery.

I'm....actually kinda surprised how much im enjoying the game. I like the Cafe book missions which is different and the game actually feels like a grind which has been missing since gt4. That's a good thing. I preorderd the game so the game started me off with $100,000 credits and the most I have had in the bank so far is $300,000. After playing the game all day on release day (I had the day off from work lol) and playing a little bit this morning before I left for work I feel like I'm just scratching the surface. Still wish there was more tracks featured in the game right from the jump. I'm really enjoying the game overall though. The game feels very polished and crisp
Me too, its really surprised me. I thought I'd hate having to grind away again but I've been really enjoying it. So far it's like perfect hybrid of Gt Sport and what i remember since from GT 2 (didn't play 3-6).

I got am invitation from Ferrari to buy a La Ferrari, Enzo or FXX.

So apparently you cant buy any car whenever you want. A petty that i will not have enough money soon enough, i guess.

I got one for the Aston Martin One-77 which expires on the 18th. That gives me until then to rack up the credits I need. The limited time for it is complete BS in my opinion. Invitations to buy cars should be permanent invites not timed.

Didnt see there is an expiration date mentioned. Well i dig the idea. Would it be illogic to think that you only get invitations for cars that cannot be won?

irl pretentious dealerships would be like "he aint got it, we tried to sell it to them but they aint got it", i guess it's immersive somehow

I have a question: I've noticed that the RPM gauge only seems to show the upper portion of the rev range, probably as a way to indicate when to shift. Is there any option for a display that includes the full RPM range, with a scale? I can imagine that being useful, especially in some of the fuel efficiency challenges. It might also be useful to have that information when doing transmission tuning.

My invitation is to buy the Porsche Carrera GT. and I agree that it's a stupid feature.
There's just some things in real life you don't simulate, temporary car availability is one of them.

Hallelujah!

For years I've been asking for a racing game where the AI made unprovoked mistakes, and not just on turn one of lap one.

Well, I just completed the five lap race at Suzuka.

There were 2 yellow flags and when I watched the replay there was a car (All Black Ford GT) that missed the braking point, locked up, spun, and went off track. Did it on both lap one and two. For the next three laps it was very conservative going around that same turn just before the back straight.

I'll also add that I love the AI because it is VERY aggressive and will not necessarily always yield like in GT sport.

I haven't seen that aggression in the 2 lap races but I have definitely seen a lot of it in the 5 lap races and the 1 custom race I did. Small sample size but I'm pleased.

It's just another little thing that incentivises players to buy credits before the invite expires. Individually it's all little things that don't seem that bad, until you put them all together and see how much the game is trying to inconvenience you.

After playing it for a 2 days straight I’m absolutely in love with this game. I really think they are absolutely nailed the progression. It is rewarding and you always have a clear goal.

The presentation is something else. Work of art.

The AI is fun to play with. Im playing mostly with underpowered cars and it’s always fun.

Physics are so much more detailed. Every car is unique. But I’m constantly spinning out lol. Cars are super twitchy now.

Money are hard to earn. I can’t imagine how much hours I need to play to afford ferrari F50 lol.

Some menu logic are weird. The most annoying is GT auto. Every time you want to switch between “car maintenance” and tuning it throw you back to the main screen. Also my controller doesn’t have vibration if the wheel is connected.

I’m excited for the future updates. This game is seriously good.

Well, I thought of one way to grind for credits in this game. It isn't perfect nor does it give you too much money, but it works. The America Sunday Cup Race on Daytona Speedway. Just 3 laps on the oval layout and you win 15,000cr, a bit over 22,000cr if you don't hit anything.

Note: I of course haven't done any actual grinding yet, it's just something I thought I should note here for now.

It's a pretty easy race and with the right car/tune combo it only takes about 2-3 minutes to complete. Definitely a race worth revisting if you need some quick cash.

I’m curious whether these invitations offer a car for a reduced price, rather than literally not being able to buy the car at all. For example, my invitation is to buy a Huarya but right next to it is a Zonda R offered for sale.

Hmmm, that could be the case. I guess one way to check is to compare the prices in brand central. I can do that right now actually, I'll just look at my Carrera GT's price point and compare it to the price of one on a youtube video.

Yeah, that could mean you could earn between 80-90k every 8-12 minutes.

EDIT:
I don't know if it means anything, but this youtube video shows the Carrera GT costing 1.2 million credits with an envelope. The wierd thing is that the Carrera GT on my game costs 2.3 million credits.

Can confirm that as of now, the best car for this is the SRT Tomahawk S. A perfect run completes the race in about 1 minute 44 seconds.
