Hmmm, that could be the case. I guess one way to check is to compare the prices in brand central. I can do that right now actually, I'll just look at my Carrera GT's price point and compare it to the price of one on a youtube video.

Yeah, that could mean you could earn between 80-90k every 8-12 minutes.

EDIT:
I don't know if it means anything, but this youtube video shows the Carrera GT costing 1.2 million credits with an envelope. The wierd thing is that the Carrera GT on my game costs 2.3 million credits.

Yea that’s awesome people were saying it meant it was the only way they can get the car…

I don't own the game yet, my friend let me drive at Tsukuba and the Nurb. It's not your typical dynamic weather that you commonly see in most games. It's truly real time weather, there are so many nuance going on. Some parts of the track will have rain and some parts are dry, puddles form and dry realistically, the cloud formation is also extremely impressive, I don't think I've seen something like that before. People here who are more knowledgeable about this could probably explain it better than me. The weather radar for me is cheating, but I understand why they added it.
I don't think the radar works. The race at High Speed Ring and Tokyo have rain but I don't see anything on the radar.

Is the whole radar screen blue tinted? That's how rain seems to show up, as a blue tint over the weather radar. If the rain stops the blue tint will move away.

It's hard to notice since it's not prominent and it usually covers the whole radar screen unless you zoom it all the way out.

The AI do seem to be more mince at some tracks that others (and they cannot rally at all; it's actually a surprise this made it to the final game because it is awful), but from my experience it's everywhere.

My next race was N24 and, while it isn't the best place to do this kind of comparison because it's too damn long and there's only two laps, the leading AI again started 30s up the road, I closed to within four seconds by the time I left the GP circuit the second time (so in excess of 20s faster per lap), then found the gas pedal and ended up only three seconds behind at the finish. It was running through some sectors (and bear in mind it doesn't complete all sectors on lap one) three seconds faster with me right behind it than when I was 25s down.
Thank you for responding again Andrew.

Very-interesting mate.

I found a Sileighty in the Japanese FR Challenge 450.
The one in GT4-6 didn't have the rear under spoiler, which the car should have, but the one in GT7 now has it!

This was great. I almost spin this AI out driving the Countach, and then after I get past I spin out and he actually tries to avoid me.

What a fantastic video. In GT sport you would have been hit.

Between your experience and my experience I'm starting to believe the AI is much better than some initially thought

I’m pretty sure the C3 corvette convertible is glitched. I’m having some massive steering input issues with it. I thought it was my wheel at first until I tried with the controller and it did the same thing. Steering is glitched and ignores or gets stuck during random input points. It gets worse as you upgrade it.

I tried tackling the mustang and Camaro cafe challenge with this car and it progressively got worse as I upgraded it. You can see hands on the steering wheel just stop and then suddenly snap to a further or lesser point of steering. It’s unfortunately not just visual, it translates to driving as well.

Trying to do Daytona was the most infuriating thing I’ve tried in a long time. It kept oversteering off the embankment or over correcting the opposite way and smashing into the wall…

Jumped in another car and it’s as smooth as butter.

Beware!

This is happening to me too, I created a separate thread for it. Steering locks at 90 degrees for me.

So confirmed that the invitations are am option to buy at reduced price?

Got Licenses B and A all Gold with Controller on automatic Transmition. A9 and A10 took me an Hour combined. A10 i used TC1. I feel lucky.

Hi guys, does anyone know what the chilli peppers mean in the GT cups (2 out of 5)? The chili peppers in game difficulty do not seem to affect this? Strangely enough the AI in my gt cup gr4 brands hatch race goes 3-4 sec faster than in my friend’s race!

'Googling' around it seems chill peppers for races indicate how experienced, decent you need to be before broaching it as AI will be tougher/cars closer in terms of performance.

Weird about your mates times though :D

Beginning to think i won't be able to finish this game on professional difficulty.. i was able to complete a few races with the chillie peppers but that race at Suzuki GR.3? Is near impossible for me.
This is much harder than Sport... gona have to go with Normal for the time being. Not even embarrassed to say that.

Either the game has inconsistencies with difficulties or im just not used to it yet. 🤔
Or I'm s**t 🤣

The cafe challenge are easy and the AI is easy… when you see those peppers 🌶 those are hard events.. don’t feel bad at all I’m having trouble myself 😂

I heard when you get those you get cheaper prices on that specific car.
Ohhhhh. Thought it was a free car of my choice. That’s a bit redundant. I would just see the envelope over Brand Central. Makes no sense to win an invitation. Just notify players.

Thanks, so does game difficulty affect the races with peppers?

A few small changes I like are the custom races once you unlock them they now seem to have a lot more options and settings with weather time etc which I don't remember in Sport. I think this is the best way to go for those that don't play online as you can have standing grid starts and set up single car races Ai etc Great options all round there. I also really like the new wobble cam 2 so set up a thread asking opinions on that in the main forum.

I still haven't found a way to upload photos directly to usb so the best way is to expand photo in full and press share on the pad to save to your own gallery on PS4/5 and I recommend changing default settings to .png to get a better picture when you transfer them to usb.

The customisation far exceeds what I thought it would be and combined with the new tuning and livery I also will be spending a lot of time here. When you upgrade race parts you can hear the slight differences to the car exhaust/engine/turbo.

Overall I would say yes the first 10-20 hours are just a teaser to get you in to it to unlock everything. I am sure it will frustrate many here who have played all of them but I guess they have to cover any new comers which there will be tens of thousands/millions!?
I just wish there was an option to skip some of the filler races for those that played Sport/GT1-6 but I am nearly at the end of the cafe now and ready to start the game soon and customise it. The more I play and unlock the better it gets. I can't wait for the GT3/4 race cars.
