Whose is this interior?

Carrera GT.

"Internet required for most functionality"

First the HUD virtually identical to GT Sport, plus the same car categories as GT Sport, and now the need for internet to access "most" functionality.

My personal belief that GT7 is being built from GT Sport seems more valid now.

Hmm... I can only hope that "most functionality" is reduced to online racing and time comparisons by the time it's released.

"Most functionality" sounds scary to me in the absence of more info.

But Gran Turismo 7 is also about more than racing. Refine and create in the evolved tuning and customization mode or improve your skills and racing strategies through Driving School

Improve your skills and racing strategies...
Wonder if there will be tests similar to real life GT Academy.

The games still in active development, my guy. There's a lot of stuff subject to change. The HUD has to be a placeholder; we know GT Auto is coming back with GT7 (i.e. car washes, oil changes, etc), yet there's no oil indicator in the current racing HUD.

As mentioned though, the game could easily come with the current car list or amount of cars and just build from there. If GTS "is" GT7, PD could release the GTS style with everything we have now(338 cars, tracks+Trial Mountain), plus Tuning Parts Shop+GTAuto+Arcade+Driving School+Sport Mode+FIA. Add 20 cars via Pre-order or whatever Season Pass type packages.

Three years to release the game in this way, is doable for Christmas.

Explore all that the Real Driving Simulator can be with new tools to help you put your own mark on your driving experiences.

Gotta love completely meaningless marketing drivel like this. That isn't a "feature".

The game is still in development but we don't know how far along development it is. Sure, the HUD could be a placeholder, or it could be close to definitive. We'll only know that closer to release. Regardless, they seem to be keeping to GT Sport's aesthethic, which I actually quite like. There's definitely a heavy influence of the current game in this next one. I still think the foundations for this game were laid in this generation, with things like GT Mode added onto those foundations. GT7 may not be as distant as we think.

What ? It's PS5 only.

If you read Horizon FW page, it's PS5 and PS4 : https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/horizon-forbidden-west/
I want that to be the case so it reduces development constraints and will allow for more ambitious spec updates to be made. Hopefully just a typo, however there is a lot of money to be made on PS4 which won't be ignored by a lot of game studios for quite a few years yet. Makes sense to profit from investments already made in game engines that support the platform until production and adoption of PS5 is large enough to switch fully.

And the official GT7 site only says PS5. However, I find it somewhat interesting how the bottom of the GT7 site highlights “PS5 features“, as if there are GT7 functionalities exclusive to PS5. The HFW site does not mention anything about PS5 features despite being announced for both PS4 and PS5.

Good news. The game has been rated for Europe. If you go to any European version of this website, it says 'PEGI 3'.
Could this mean that it may be coming soon?

No, Horizon is listed as 16 already as well whilst the ESRB rating is still listed as pending. it doesn't say so, but it will be a preliminary PEGI rating.

Neither are listed on the PEGI website.

I said it over in the other thread but if I learn that PS4 is also getting Gran Turismo 7 that will drive my insanity levels over the edge.

Really hope it's just for PS5, have had to put so much effort into affording the new console and accessories so finding i could have just got it for PS4 will be a hard one to accept!

Breaking news! ..that we were just informed of on GTPlanet lol

Look at the username. Anway as I posted no it doesn't mean anything, all of the PS5 games listed have an preliminary PEGI rating, none of them are final, including Horizon which is confirmed for 2021 and definitely hasn't had a final rating yet.

Demon's Souls remake isn't list on PEGI website, too....

I would hazard a guess that the 'PS5 features' are to do with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the dual sense, which are features of the PS5 obviously not on the PS4.

I took that to be a reference to the livery editor, given that it's one of the things attached to the internet required footnote.

edit: Seems it's not *'d... could have sworn it was earlier.
