One thing I will say this game does really well (if you have a PS5) is "pick up and play".

If you're waiting around for like 5-10mins you can fire up the game and quickly put yourself into a quick 2 lap race to burn that 5-10mins.

It's been quite a while since I've had a game that allows for this.

Yes they did, but they patched it out.

If you mean the exploit where you would make GR1 cars run out of fuel, and then win, yes that was patched. Oddly not patched in GT 7 on the same tracks.
I just put 50 laps on blue moon bay in a 600 hp car vs GR 1 and the payout was 120,000 credits, I assume two laps on Route X would be the same.
Favorite money make of mine was two laps on Fisherman's ranch in an N200 GTI, the one AI driver was so slow you could beat them and make 50,000 credits. I still think the payout is bad even for 100k, that's a 12 min race if it is two laps. Point is, the payout is the same and is STILL bad if you are not abusing the system. In sport, a 4 hour race was like 150,000 credits

Ed Welburn hasn't appeared in the Gran Turismo Cafe yet for me, figured he'd appear by now since I obtained most of the Chevrolets. In fact I think I've only seen like two designers appear in the cafe.

I think you have to take a specific car to the cafe at certain times. There is this African American girl who has only shown up during the day and a dude with headphones who only shows up at night, at least that's how it has seemed. For about half an hour I Just drove into the cafe with different cars to see what would pop up, some cars don't have anything but some cars have multiple dialogue. The girl was going on about My Evo X , the same Evo I had brought in twice already.

This really sucks, I was hoping I could keep taking my cars there to hear what people had to say about them. Nope, you finish the game and everyone's gone and you're alone.

Though considering you never actually see anyone... maybe you always were alone? Maybe being lost in those woods really got to you.

Who knows? Just trying to figure out why the main feature of the career mode becomes absolutely 100% useless after it's over.

It turns out I may have been wrong, sorry. The cars I checked I didn't have anyone around.

I feel like if anyone was able to test the online properly it definitely would have dropped the review average 10% at least! I'm really hoping we get another maintenance downtime this week, they should be doing the weekly with the bugs list currently.

I think the drift and dirt events are bugged, you should be on comfort compound but are on race ..

Yeah I wasn’t sure if it was intentional or not since that is a normal tire for the gr4 mustang. RH tires have too much grip for this.

They really want to create this narrative that GT7 is a bad looking game, worse a PS3 game. It's so strange. Making people bad for liking a game is gaslighting at its finest. • Forza fanboys who don't want their game to lose relevance with a rebirth of GT
• People who in 2022 still think racing games (yeah I know, not gonna argue this) are about graphics and not physics/features
• People who want the clicks (like Rich from ReviewTechUSA)
• Haters

GT may not be the force it once was but it's a legendary franchise that basically defined the way the genre is now. Even ungrateful Forza Horizon fanboys must acknowledge their favored game has a fair bit of GT's ethos in it (which unfortunately disappears with every new release). Obviously, when you're this big, you'll have a lot of haters.

GT Sport did it too, and better because it actually had some enjoyable events.

IMO the best GT Sport championship was the Gr.1 cup, because the Gr.1 cars are really fast with lots of grip. Other cool events were the Red Bull X2019, Super Formula and F1500T races. Other than that, I don't really recall many memorable events. GT Sport's career felt a lot like FM5's to me, and I didn't find it very imaginative.

The best events in GT Sport were actually some of the missions, like the one at Interlagos where you have to undercut the opposition with a Mazda Atenza to finish ahead.

For as long as I can remember in GT history yes? You can't expect racing softs off a classic mini to fit on an LMP1 car.

Yes, just like in every video game that's allowed you to purchase different compounds of tires in the past as well.

GT Sport was nowhere near as quick as GT7 is to load, and that's 100% a fact.

ITS THE SAME TYRES. Buy them once for all cars, ok, but not for each car seperately.

Its just a joke when you are already in a race-warmup and then you notice a tyre is missing and you have to quit to buy it in tuning shop.

Hope they fix this asap.
