The bubble has certainly burst. The MC score should affect them in an unwanted way. Personally I've felt very let down since some time during GT6 so I'm well used to it. So I bought GT7 99% certain there would be stupid stuff with zero hope of it being what they said it would be. At least the physics are ok I guess.

...regarding always online, here is funny thing that happen to me yesterday. As it seems, game, AKA GT7 has identical save file on console as it is on PD servers... not sure what triggered this, probably I shut down game before it finish uploading/synchronizing save file or something... but here it is...

So what do you think guys?

I've gotten that once before, and another time on a different game (Ratchet and Clank) with my PS5. Kinda freaked me out on both occations, but I just guessed and picked the one that had the latest save time. Seemed to work out in both cases. I dunno...

I didn't know this concern on microtransaction was a thing back then on GTHD, oh my god.

What is she talking about, though? The only GT5 track that actually cost money to "unlock" was Spa, and that was because it was DLC. And didn't GTHD only have Eiger?

Like the video mentioned, GTHD at the time was meant to be a "sneak peak" to what GT5 could look like. The idea of purchasing tracks and cars was badly received, the whole GTHD project was cancelled and stripped down to what we all know as the free demo back in Dec. 2006.

Yep, GT HD was originally meant to be two different games if I'm not wrong.

• GT HD Premium: A tech demo that utilized the new hardware and showcased the future of Gran Turismo with 2 tracks and 30 cars. That was supposed to costs a whopping $30 if i recall correctly but i could be wrong.

• GT HD Classic: An online mode based on GT4 but ran at 1920x1080 resolution, had 16 car size grids and featured cars & bikes carried over from both GT4 and Tourist Trophy. The game was technically free but the catch was that the entire content were all locked behind paid DLCs and you had to buy them individually through the PS Store.

As you would expect, people went mad and for one reason or another, the project got cancelled and instead what we got was a free to play demo that featured the new Eigar track and 10 cars (+10 tuned versions) to play with. I was actually thinking about making a video covering it for the last two years but oh well.

As much as i love GT, i just cant take it anymore how bad we are being treated by PD.
Im gone for a few months and will check later on if they fixed the game or if i can sell my PS5.
Fulltime iRacing it is then... 🤷‍♂️

What's everyone's recommendations on what car to use for Pan American Championship?
Do you use aids?

How much is it? I know about monthly payment which is OK but what about content?

I have a question when are able to access the livery editor?

So I've loved this game from the start, and still think it's a great GT title despite all of the insane nonsense PD has forced into it. But is anyone else just like, feeling like they don't care about it any more? With every previous GT game that has come out, it's been a months-long obsession for me that I dump hundreds of hours into but with everything PD/Sony have done recently, I just kind of feel disgusted by it or something. Like I don't really care to keep going. It doesn't feel like Gran Turismo any more. I've never in my life seen a game so blatantly screw over its fans. And you couple that with the fact that I don't know if I'll even still be able to play this game in 10 years. Like what's even the point of dumping time into it now when the servers are just going to be taken down some day? I still have my 400-ish hour GT4 save file and play that game every chance I get. But this game will just be literally dead. It's really, really sad.

Not at all. For me it is quite different. Without GT Planet i would not even know what the fuzz is about the low metacritic. I enjoy GT7 every day with a smile on my face.

Yeah but it's a bit too handful. Did you install any mods on it?
A supercharger, suspension and race tyres. It's a handful but fast if you're gentle.
I tried a highly tuned C4 Corvette before that but that's what I would call a bit too much of a handful

It's pretty much governed by staying within track limits, which in most cases is the white lines at the edge of the track (but not always). Put 4 wheels over the line and that's your bonus gone. AFAIK, contact with other cars does not count towards the Clean Race Bonus. Specific tracks have some differences as to what is considered track limits.

I would love to see an indicator on the Race HUD to show whether your Clean Race Bonus is still intact, as that would also help to identify where and how you are losing your bonus, as it's not always obvious. Given how precious in-game Cr. is, CRBs make a substantial difference, hence this kind of info would be really helpful.
I had assumed nerfing other cars off the track would affect it, whereas taking a corner so badly you fall off the track and slow down wouldn't. Apart from a couple of chicanes, there is pretty much nowhere that going green-laneing gives you any advantage, so penalising you as well seems a bit harsh. I absolutely agree about a HUD symbol. I frequently lose time avoiding being brake-checked mid corner by a stroppy AI and still get no bonus. If I know I've already lost it, I'll worry far less about tipping them into the long grass🤣

It unlocks with GT Auto pavilion, which is around Menu 10 maybe? It's pretty early anyway. If you happen to have had a liveried car on GTS that you either buy or win on GT7, when you "Open Design", your GTS livery will be there. Well, mostly anyway. Any decals that have either not been carried across by PD, or were in your Collection, might not be there.

Thanks! Unfortunately for me I never bought GT SPort so I have no liveries to import. I actually check the link @Famine posted and it show up around Menu book 7. I think I am on 4 or 5 right now. I kind of wish they didn't lock GT AUto behind the menu book. I really wnat to paint my cars. Oh well what can you do.

You need to deserve that. Paying for the game is not enough in 2022.

Those early menus are pretty straightforward, so not long to wait. Liveries is one of my favourite things tbh, currently trying to recreate this season's BTCC team liveries (British touring cars). Not always easy when PD haven't included most of the cars racing this year, so I have to make do with older versions, or coupés instead of saloons (sedan your side of the pond?).
