Yes there is that but:

- Revealing a new VGT for a game that still hasn't had an official reveal date and is still far out (While the current one is still going) seems like a questionable thing.

- If this is true, how do we know he isn't mistaking this for the Lamborghini or Porsche VGTs (The ones we actually still don't have)?

I would like to strongly emphasize IF here because alot of people seem to keep choosing blissfully ignorant optimism over cold hard fact even though this is PD (Who for a fact have a reputation for delays and making massive promises that don'tcome to pass when they say it will).

For sure. Not disagreeing, just mentioning anything is possible. I remember all the things you mentioned, Plus, we were told we were getting three Mercedes-AMG cars for GT6 https://www.gtplanet.net/mercedes-amg-gran-turismo-6/ . That, of course, didn't happen and it was the wrong game(those cars and the E63 V8 Supercar, were actually in Forza). Only car we got, was the SLS GT3. The A45 was years later in GT Sport.

I read on Twitter that there will be a virtual reveal for the Jaguar Vision GT for GT7 on Friday.

If the Twitter source for that is Roberto Serrano or Tidux or anyone else like that... safe to say they're only in the business of delivering false news to the gullible, I'm afraid. =/

I was hoping we get some more information at the FIA championships as they like to tease new stuff there so should be a good chance of getting a new trailer by this weekend. Hopefully get release date by the world final. It would be great if they could do another closed Beta so we can have some input on game.

It's supposed to be tomorrow.... And there is no announcement from Jaguar ? It's strange ?

If it is happening I doubt it will be "In GT7" as such. More an ambiguous CGI video with no reference to any specific game, like the ones they announced towards the end of GT6 life, IIRC.

It may be revealed in the GT7 engine but there’s no guarantee of much further news coming from the Jaguar event, at most maybe footage of track or additional yet un-revealed Jaguar assets we haven’t seen yet.

We don’t actually know if it’s still happening, based on the one guy that had some kind of knowledge of the event deleting their tweet.

If it’s any consolation though, the embargo for PS5 information is meant to end today - could see something after that, considering GT7 is apparently involved

I think PD would probably have wanted to announce this at the same time as the manufacturer.

That, and PD already had a separate manufacturer announcement/collaboration today (GR Yaris plus Time Trial event).

I've been searching for the last 30 minutes or so and haven't found anything new about the Jaguar VGT. I guess whatever new information that was revealed PD wants to keep private for now.
