I'm willing to try extra hard to get all golds in circuit experience for 1mil Cr., but not with this..
It took me a bit of time. My strategy for Circuit Experience events is to do the full lap first, and work up to golding that. Then going back and doing the individual sectors.

I spent probably twenty minutes on the Sector Two section of that one just due to how, not fun, that car is through that section.

Man, the Audi Gr.3 is a real demon to drive.

The Deep Forest Circuit Experience with it was certainly a thing.

I think I found this easier than most, possibly just having driven 10+ races in the daily B using the R8 on Deep Forest.

I find keeping it in 4th gear for the first part of that second sector, take loads of grass on the right and then as much kerb on the left as you can without hitting the sausages, get it down to 2nd and leave it there for the 2 rights and then straight line the link, keep it in 4th for the downhill left, downshifting unsettles it too much and then break early and take loads of inside kerb in 2nd gear for the left.

Its the toughest sector on the experience but minimise the downshifts and it's pretty straightforward.

What the **** is this game's penalty system? I'm genuinely asking. I'm doing the Le Mans 30 minutes race right now, and I've received a 1.5 second penalty for...taking a corner? No matter how hard I try, this game keeps giving me reasons to shut it off. I do not understand.

I just want to play the damn game and have fun, ffs.
The white lines are the track limits. Keep all four wheels inside them. Penalties don't stop you getting the clean race bonus. I've had a few penalties for seemingly nothing but if it rains, and it always seems to rain, you can fly off the track and still get the clean race bonus. The other race at Le Mans has strict track limits so I think its a bug...

Yeah I think those may be the real track limits at the circuit but it's garbage. You should always be able to put a wheel on the curbs.

Has anyone done the new race at Le Mans and it hasn't rained?

Every time I do this race it rains. Every time. I think PD fixed a "it doesn't rain enough" issue with a "it rains too much" fix.

If it's any consolation, the car is similarly murderous in ACC until you do some major setup work. The EVO 2 is a lot more docile, practically a lap cat.

Coincidentally, I literally just finished my race with no rain.

It got dark with a very, very, very light "rain" on lap 6 for about 1 minute and then poof, no rain at all. Looking at the weather radar I saw only one big cloud over the circuit (the one at lap 6) and the rest of the clouds went way above.

You guys probably already noticed but it seems the dry lines are predetermined rather than based on the actual lines the cars take. Watched a video on the manufacturers cup at rainy HSR and taking advantage of the banking on the outside seems to be the fastest, which everyone was doing, but it wasn't drying there at all while the inside lines were.

No its not. Its just just able to absorb curbs like the bentley and bmws (in acc)

The Evo 2 is less pitch sensitive so it has more usable downforce when braking and chucking it into corners.

I think the idea behind that race is that it is supposed to have mixed weather. I did have one run with very light rain though.

Did it twice today, no rain in either race. It seems like if it hasn't started raining yet by the end of lap 3 it won't start raining at all. And the weather will always return to sunny for at least the final five minutes.

I’m planning on getting a ps4 to play GT7 and some other exclusive games, do y’all recommend me to get a OG ps4/slim or should I get a Pro?
There are slight performance differences but the game looks and plays pretty much the same. It doesn't really matter which one you get unless you want slightly faster loading times, a higher resolution, and maybe less visual glitches.

Ugh, are people seriously still doing those speed limit lobbies? Why? Driving the speed limit in a video game is boring.
It's a roleplay thing for most people.

I do admit, I find it fun to sometimes join those servers and see how much I can get away with before getting kicked by the "cops" :sly:

It still rained then. I've had races with light rain but no races with no rain at all and I've done 500 miles in that race today and quite a few races yesterday as well.

But it was so light, so, so light, that I might say it was probably the fans throwing watter bottles at the track

A pro is miles better than a slim. It can sound like a jet engine at times though. No thought of a PS5? They are not as unavailable as people think.

Defo get the pro m8 even then the fps can struggle at times but you do get a 4k console at least ;) shame you live @ the wrong end of the world ;) i got the ps5 now and have a old pro collecting dust.

Feeling a little frustrated after two tries of the one hour MX5 TC mission. That lead AI rubberbands a bit too hard, even in wet conditions.

Gonna jump back in it with my MX5 tuned up to 217 HP, hopefully that'll reel him in.
