I feel that if they were to showcase real tracks, they'll most probably do it in Willow Springs (like when we saw the Corvette C7 Gr. 3 spinning there).
But there are rumors of Road Atlanta ending up in GT7 so I hope they showcase that track if they release new footage soon.

Can confirm - one of the first things I saw on (finally) getting to the PS5's home screen was the big shiny GT7 banner. "Coming soon" is the tagline there but its front page presence gives me hope that this whole first half of next year thing will hold out.

tbf, I quoted the Gran Turismo twitter page which had just posted it when I saw it, but the playstation europe twitter had posted hours before which I don't follow.

It's going to be one of those GT5 moments where we keep saying its coming out and suddenly 2 years later, we get a 'work in progress' title... I have learnt not to hold my breath with GT. Doesn't stop me looking forward to its release, it'll be the reason I eventually buy a PS5.

I don't know when GT 7 will be on store shelves but personally i prefer a bit late on 2021 ( second half).
What happened in the past i think doesn't play any significant role since there was no pandemic and financial crisis together as we have globally right now and from how things are going looks like both of them are gonna keep us " company" for a quite long time.
In my country there is None ps5 for sale and nobody knows when ,if and how much pieces there will be available .
I guess the same happens and in other countries and as i wrote in the past , there's no way to release such an anticipating title like GT 7 without cover a serious amount of ps5 worldwide.
Since I'll buy ps5 only for Gt 7 ,the later the better for me ,but i really understand the fans that waiting for it ,on the other hand ,day by day , worldwide, the consequences that Covid 19 leave behind are growing so much that it will start to became a " joke" to worry or worst to add another problem in someone's life for when a game title will released .
Peoples loosing their jobs every day due to quarantine conditions , the summer pass with the tourism at his lowest ever and ( you can figure the billions lost worldwide) and we can't see a light in the hole we are fall in.
My point ?
Be happy you're safe and have your health and job and your lovely persons around you and leave the rest to worry others ,Sony ,Pd etc.

I couldn't disagree more. That's basically like saying that something shouldn't come out because a lot of people all over the world are homeless. No one can do anything about that. There other people who can afford to buy a game. Due to Covid-19, there are more people staying at home and playing games than ever before, so of course it would make sense to release it as soon as possible.

Am fully respect that ,but still the facts are :
Nobody really knows when .....
We have a " soon " plus a " first half" with lot of translations.
There not ps5 for sale even for sample.
As for how the pandemic affect and will continue affect mullions people lifes ,is not the thread to discuss about it but is there , happens now and everything is a chain reaction in life .
Plans of billions fall into a deep black hole at 2020 as also some will make billions ( few of course) from it.
Don't know if Sony or other tech giants stay out of this but definitely is not ordinary period that we've been through with all that brings.
PS
Personally i prefer to bring back my " life" and GT7 can wait as long as it takes.
Its not in my power to do something about it and i won't earn something from that ( others might ) even if release tomorrow or in one year from now.
