Every single circuit must have a gr4, Gr3, Gr2 and Gr1 race that pays 800k for 30min and 1.5M for 1h. Every single one.
Now, we have 4, and only 1 race in each one
Well, Gr1, Gr2 or even Gr3 at Goodwood or Tsukuba might be a bit too ‘interesting’ but I get what you’re saying. We do need at least ten (or more) high paying events in each of those categories (and also for single-seaters) at a nice variety of tracks.

Am I the only one who feels that with this update they have changed the simulation of tire and fender interference?

It is already a well-known fact that the interference between tires and fenders on cars with low vehicle height makes steering impossible, and I had already made settings that took this simulation into account.

After the update, however, interference began to occur even on cars with such settings.
Particularly noticeable is the situation where the front suspension tends to bottom out, and this phenomenon tends to occur at hairpin corners after long straights and at downhill corners.

I usually set up my PP500-600 Japanese cars in the Clubman Cup 550 at Tokyo Expressway, and after the update, it became noticeably more difficult to turn the hairpin corners on this track.

At first I suspected overspeed, but after observing using a chase cam, it is clear that this is probably happening because the rudder angle of the front wheels is clearly decreasing.

Since we know the cause of the problem, all we have to do is to adjust the settings to correspond to this new simulation, but it seems to be quite difficult.

Does anyone know how to adjust controller steering sensitivity? I couldn't seem to find it under settings when i last played.

You're right but you take my point.
Nurburgring needs a race of 30min/1h of all categories. Bathurst too...
Tsukuba same race but 550pp

Now We have a single Gr4 race. A single 600pp race and 2 Gr3 races.

Can´t get enough of this track!
I drive the short variant only and but it´s just amazing.
Fun with every class.

Of course PD can´t just give us something great without being weird about it.
Why no rain and why is there no 24 hour cycle?
It is a fantastic track, has such a good flow in both layouts and you can carry a lot of speed round most of it as well.
I'm not sure why they decided none of the US tracks would have 24hr and weather, it is an odd choice, and it is PD as you say.

Yep. The top world-famous tracks need high-paying races, 30 min or 1 hr, for all the categories.

Every single track needs at least one or two chilli pepper races too.

Hmm I always thought you could adjust it in-race thanks.
In single player/offline races, you can adjust pretty much any setting in-race, which is nice. When in an Open Lobby or Sport Mode race, you can only adjust settings in the lobby menu.

Unpopular opinion: I genuinely believe making GT7 cross-gen was a mistake. I feel as though the time it took to optimize and downscale/downsize the game for the PS4 version could have been spent on finalizing the game for a full release, instead of rushing it out the door to meet stakeholder deadline and release... whatever the "final" product came out to be.

I still think that GT7 was originally developed mainly for PS4/Pro and they needed to attract people to buy new PS5 consoles with new "next-gen only" flagship title. No proper career, no new and interesting events, many tracks ported from GTS without any visible improvements, the dynamic weather for all tracks is still missing and is hardly unfinished, same HUD... it really looks like GTSport 2.0.

Making it cross gen may have held it back but honestly I'm glad it isn't a ps5 exclusive title because with the chip shortage, all of the supply chain madness and resellers buying every available ps5 I have been unable to get one since launch. I have not seen one in store, I've not seen one that isn't 300$ over MSRP online (I refuse to buy one off of ebay on principle.. screw the hoarders and resellers) and I've signed up on Amazon and the PS Store online to have a 'chance' to get one with absolutely no luck. At least I and many others who just cannot buy a PS5 currently at a reasonable price can still play GT7.

Visuals, yes, but features it's more like GTSport 0.5, if anything.

I'm not too sure when they started development and when PS5 dev kits were handed out, but I feel like what they showcased was a next gen titled, and what was delivered was the 2022 equivalent of the GT6 Demo that barely ran right on PS3.

I would have personally been more than happy with another year extension. With the crypto market dying down for now, and production slowly starting to meet demand again, 2023 you would start seeing PS5s at MSRP in stock.

But that's just me, I don't know the financial incentives behind releasing the game this year, and what was at play behind the scenes.

It's practically identical. Cafe in the bottom middle, GT World is the "World Circuits" menu, and the events are under the circuit menu still.

The cafe is how they wanted it. It's how the game was designed.
That’s City Menu is way better than the valley screen saver we have now. At least we could watch ”traffic”. ;)

Missed opportunity sighted.

Just think after each update, they could tease up coming cars as the "Traffic"

Crazy that they essentially repeated the mistake of GT6.

It's been pretty challenging getting a decent sized lobby going (even with some of the most popular disciplines).

The rubberbanding is even more crazy than I thought. Yesterday I created a 2 laps Custom Race at Trial Mountain with me driving the Ferrari FXX-K and one of the opponents in the Suzuki Escudo.

The Escudo immediately flew off like a rocket and I couldn’t see it by the time I arrived at the first tunnel. Gone and out of reach. Then by the end of lap two I magically caught up to the Escudo. It was crawling like it had calculated how slow it needed to go in order for me to overtake it shortly before the finish line.

Why do so many mainstream games employ this mechanism? It ruins the fun almost entirely. Does PD think we’ll break down in tears losing to the AI fair and square? At least give players the ability to switch off this rubberbanding nonsense.

Yes, its straight up garbage. Id rather be lapped by a fast car then have it artificially slow down.

Someone tell me the address and ill write a letter.

Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II

I think it's already well-known that the canards are only on the Test Car, but I didn't know that the Race Car has a larger rear wing!

Interesting to note the Race car also now has a proper rear diffuser, which makes sense as its now based on the production Ford GT instead of the 2002 concept.
