Yeah I'm also hoping the update will give us good improvements regarding features and technically, not really interested in the cars... id.R is own it's own, the VGT is... well, a VGT. Silvia is a nice touch though.

Dude, there are plenty of great games that you can play on PS5. I bought a new PS4 Pro because PS5 are still scarce here (haven't buy a PS4 since it's release) mainly for GT7 (in which I'm also disappointed) but I ended up enjoying a lot of great games.

Also the difference between PS4 and PS5 is quite massive especially those with crossgen games. You'd enjoy them, don't sell it.

So far I been really loving rocket league lol,might be the funniest game I ever played. And I been going to that after I get bored doing one race of chase the leader down races, gt7 provides in the single player mode
 
Hopefully we'll see a new circuit this update too. The Catalunya layout expansion was nice, but not as much as when Watkins Glen dropped. Petit Le Mans isn't far away so that's my hope (not expectation).

I don't recall the Volkswagen ID-R being in a previous datamine list, so that's proof of there being more than what those lists have shown, if that's the case.

No circuit this time for sure, maybe in the october update
 
Doh. Just realised the wet weather indicator tells you the conditions on the exact spot of your car. Rather than the general vicinity. So picking the drying line (which I already did) really does have big benefits.

Glad at least someone does. I enjoyed it for maybe 2 days, until I realized this is not GT. Too much handholding, too little freedom, too few interesting and enjoyable races, almost zero opportunity to make crazy tunes and race them for prices. Grinding for 2 weeks to get one interesting car, only for the game to award you the same car the next day, no thanks, that's not my idea of fun.

I juat couldn't see that that but each to their own. I do agree though that graphical difference don't make up the crappy side of this game.

It's not that I decided arbitrarily that I'm not going to buy any other games, I looked at what's on offer and decided thanks but no thanks. Any game currently exclusive on PS5 is either not interesting to me, or will come to PC sooner or later. I'd rather wait for the superior experience. I hate console controllers, so it is a struggle to play games like that for me.

Grinding for 2 weeks to get one interesting car, only for the game to award you the same car the next day, no thanks, that's not my idea of fun.

Pro tip: you can earn 47.6m in circuit exp, 9.6m in human comedy missions and 2m for every tt ;)

The Catalunya layouts were promising, hopefully that means they'll add layouts to tracks that really should have had more. The Nurburgring always used to have GP/F and GP/D variations, and both the standard 24h layout and a Type V layout, but currently it only has GP/F and the standard 24h layout. Also the Bugatti Circuit would be a great addition for Le Mans. If we can't get actual new tracks, than at least we should get all the layouts for the current tracks.

I've tried a few of the circuit experiences, but decided I don't like that activity, takes too long and not much fun endlessly spamming restart until you nail every section. This might come as a surprise but I like to play games to have fun, and not doing things that are the opposite of that so I might unlock what I actually wished to play in the first place.

As said earlier each to their own, I had plenty of fun earning money this way and it was 0 grind for me

I agree. And like you I am spamming many sites of stuff I don't like.
I don't like fashion, so I am spamming at least half a dozen fashion forums, so they understand I hate fashion and it is really a very bad thing.
Also, I don't like rap music, so I spam a number of forums about rap music, explaining how much I hate rap.
I really don't like politics, so I spam a couple of political forums, these people really need to understand how bad politics are and how I hate it.
I really like my life this way, it is really fulfilling :dunce:

You do realise you can be a fan of Gran Turismo but dislike Gran Turismo 7, you can be a fan of fashion but dislike a certain style, you can be a fan of rap music but dislike certain tracks or a particular artist, you can be very interested in politics but dislike certain policies and parties.
