What excuse lol? You're making it out like he's revealing secrets from inside PDs boardroom, he's just looking at the information in the game and letting us know bits and bobs because PD don't.Cant wait to see his excuse now
None.Cant wait to see his excuse now
Funny that you could've posted this comment any time since GT5 came out (bar the online championships part) and it would still apply.I feel like PD themselves could get slightly ahead of the curve by being a little bit more transparent about upcoming content... maybe by posting an annual roadmap (doesn't need to be extremely detailed) of some things to expect in the upcoming year.
Obviously they aren't obliged to tell anyone what they're working on, or who they may be negotiating with... but when there are no online championships running for most regions for over 6 weeks now, it could just be considered a courtesy to the player base.
But which monday did he hint at?Also he said some of it was speculation but not which bits.I'm starting to think this next update isn't gonna drop on the usual Thursday, as that'll be right as the events begin. I guess they'll tease some of the update's content during the events, then drop it on Monday the 28th, as Nenkai hinted towards.
Possibly, but most likely cause it was way too narrow for races with many cars. It would just be a track for small races, time trial and CE. But, even so, it was one of the coolest tracks PD ever made.citta di aria would be sooo difficult to model these days, at 4K fidelity...
I bet it is because of the graphics that they release tracks too slowly
Same experience here.Oh right, meeting places are a thing. I forgot about them after I tried them in March and they just crashed the game. I should give them another chance.

Well. Ok. I'll try again next year then.
Edit: I guess I should've read the pinned thread about connection issues. Turns out Gran Turismo 7 is the first game I've ever needed to go through that mess to get working. Even though I've always been able to at least get into its servers in the past. But... hey, I'm in the meeting place now. Cool.
Edit 2: And then I disconnected. That was fun for the 10 minutes it worked, I guess. I can only assume it wasn't my connection considering I watched everyone else vanish and now the server is empty. Speaking of which, the server I tried the first time was empty when I came back. Seems it's just the servers. I see why they're almost entirely empty. I guess I will just wait until next year then. Give it one last chance before my PS+ runs out.
A fine conclusion if there were servers for meeting places - but there aren't. It's P2P, not server-client.I watched everyone else vanish and now the server is empty. Speaking of which, the server I tried the first time was empty when I came back. Seems it's just the servers.
You see, if the don't tell us anything they're not obligated to deliver anything. Genius, really.I feel like PD themselves could get slightly ahead of the curve by being a little bit more transparent about upcoming content... maybe by posting an annual roadmap (doesn't need to be extremely detailed) of some things to expect in the upcoming year.

Would be nice just to add the dang interior.
That's a crop of one of Nenkai's leaked images. Here's the original tweet:This was posted on Facebook in a GT group. I don't know where it originated.

Nope. Giving up checking now.Any News of Kaz so far ????
That's... a pretty weird way to set up something like meeting places. Especially when it absolutely looks like a server list. Thank you for the info though.A fine conclusion if there were servers for meeting places - but there aren't. It's P2P, not server-client.
Basic upshot: other people also have mince connections, and if the "host" is connected by wifi - 60 feet from the router with two walls and a microwave in the way - everyone's going to have a Bad Time.
That's a good point... and I'm actually not sure what's going on now. As far as I'm aware only the "FIA" events use a fixed server-client model.Especially when it absolutely looks like a server list.
Bond, yourI don't know why but the game seems to think that I LOVE Aston Martin. I've gotten both invite-only cars from tickets (the Vulcan twice) and I just got my third Aston Martin invite from today's ticket.
