Gonna stick my neck out. I reckon no track.

Yikes more FOMO content. There goes any hope for a whole bunch of new events that are worth replaying.

Imagine if it's "new legendary track accessible only through Hagerty that's only available for 4 days once every 2 months. 5000Cr payout of course, with a 20mil entry fee."

But hey maybe PD will surprise us and we'll be blessed with a couple of engine tickets.

That guess for the Alfa Guilia would be nice.
Ddit: Scratch that. Theres a GT wing on the Alfa.
What? All I see is a ducktail.

Edit : someone on reddit pointed out that the top could be the M2 Comp. Honestly that seems likely to me.

I'm guessing it the M2 since the Giulia that is listed on the datamine list is the GTAm, which means it shouldn't have a ducktail like the one in the silhouette.
I don't give much to the datamine list, we've had stuff that wasn't on it.

This does look vaguely like a BMW badge.

My guess for this limited time 25th anniversary content would be special livery versions of some cars that could appear in Hagerty like the Dior Mangusta. A similar concept to the 15th anniversary liveries they made for GT6 that were pre-order bonuses

I hope that's it. I personally don't really care for liveries.
A quick side-by-side.

So I guess we got them all? Man I'm so pissed that it's potentially another S14.

It's not a M2C, hood lines and front light doesn't fit.

Edit : Guess I was wrong, silhouette are strange sometimes

@05XR8 yeah, I was wrong

Nice that we have one car from each world map section.

The Silvia doesn't hype me that much tbh, I presume it'll have a nice swap.

If they have actual content planned, I wish they'd communicated that instead of just teasing 3 cars.

Other successful live service games will host hours-long streams showcasing their upcoming content to drum up more player interest and engagement (especially for big "annivesary" updates). Surely PD can afford to do something similar?

Maybe the top right is the "VGT from a new manufacturer" that's been leaked and hinted at for a while now?
Exactly. Why mention it's a 25th anniversary update if you don't do anything different to normal? Just posting the three silhouettes and nothing else is bizarre.

Hype it up. Tell us what makes it special, for a 25th anniversary update.

It's not like the silhouettes are the definitive contents of the update every time though, there's plenty they can do in the patch notes. Obviously there's going to be something if they mentioned there being something.

The mentioning of it being an anniversary update is likely supposed to be a teaser as well as the cars.

In Gran Turismo Sport, some cars couldn't be used in regular events and races. If memory serves, we could use them only in One Make Custom Races. McLaren P1 GTR '16, Pagani Zonda R, were two of them.

Have things changed in Gran Turismo 7?
Can we use cars like McLaren P1 GTR '16, Pagani Zonda R, Porsche 917 LIVING LEGEND, in events?
Are there any cars that we can't use?

Yes, we can use these cars in PP events. Not events that require a specific category: Gr.1, Gr.2, etc. As an example, I used the 917 Living Legend to complete the World Tour Champiosnhip.

Same here. Was an easy win. Just wanted to finish the last menu before the later ones came out.

Well that's what I mean, the cars aren't ever the only part of the update so why does Kaz only tease those? Why not release a trailer which shows flashes of other aspects of the update(s), or as quoted, go all out and preview everything fully, get everyone interested and hyped.

There is no sense of excitement or hype in Kaz's tweets which I read in a monotone, uninterested voice in my head.

Sounds like they're going minimum effort anyway.

I appreciate the new cars, but as someone who spends 95% of his time playing offline, I find it hard to motivate myself to do anything other than collect them. If only the AI could be as good across the board as it is in that one Gr.3 Maggiore race, custom races might actually be fun.

Ford Sierra implementation will be awkward unless they add Ford’s European division as a separate brand. Imagine it not being eligible for European events because it’s tied to America.
I can’t recall how they did it with the First Focus RS and Ford Ka, etc.

Edit: Imagine that 25th Ann car being a Gr.3 Supra. Smells like something from Toyota… being the original brand to yes to PG/GT.

Oh I definitely am interested if you asked, great car choice to be honest. Less-so about the Silvia but the Japanese community I'm sure will appreciate it

Though like I've said previously, this is looking like a solid update
