That's what I meantWe already have the Castrol Supra livery in GT7, it's more likely to be a themed 25th Anniversay livery. Unless that's what you mean, but using the Supra GT500 as the base car.

There are some exceptions (like Free to Play games) but broadly speaking online activity in games works like thisIve only just realised today that you dont need a psn subscription to take part in the online time trials, only for the daily races and multiplayer.I assumed as its called online TT i needed an active sub to take part.Live and learn.
I agree! It’s the most iconic car (IMO) from the franchise that’s currently in game! Escudo and Pennzoil GTR aren’t far behind mond you!I feel that the Castrol Supra will be the 25th Anniversary car. It makes the most sense IMO.
Wasn't that also the Problem for the Zonda in real life for a while...it wasn't street-legal in most countries but it also didn't get the necessary homologations to be used as race car, when my memories are correct...In Gran Turismo Sport, some cars couldn't be used in regular events and races. If memory serves, we could use them only in One Make Custom Races. McLaren P1 GTR '16, Pagani Zonda R, were two of them.
That wasn't a Problem with the Ford Focus, was it ?Ford Sierra implementation will be awkward unless they add Ford’s European division as a separate brand. Imagine it not being eligible for European events because it’s tied to America.
And it won't be any of those. Nice as they would be, it's a pipedream. It'll be a special livery for an already in game car as some sort of prize or limited LCD thing.View attachment 1209488
Probably not this car, but it is the one I am most excited about as the 25th anniversary car.
It's more realistic than the Dodge Copperhead (a.k.a. "Concept car"), FTO LM Edition, or Nismo GT-R LM Road car.
What I really want the most, though, is a Copperhead.
I'm going to guess that it's a rental car that's only available for use in a special "25th anniversary" event that lasts for a certain duration of time. Maybe even online/Sport Mode only hence the FOMO element.not certain wether its obtainable
.What does that mean? How do you get it if its not obtainable?Maybe a freebie for everyone. 🤔
Yes, it definitely will. And it won't be any of those. Nice as they would be, it's a pipedream. It'll be a special livery for an already in game car as some sort of prize or limited LCD thing.
If its just a car with the 25th livery its not the end of the world. If its for an online only event those without psn sub will miss out so i cant see pd doing that, however, this is PD.....I'm going to guess that it's a rental car that's only available for use in a special "25th anniversary" event that lasts for a certain duration of time. Maybe even as an online time trial where the car is a reward for the top 0.1% or something.
Maybe it's tied to the Worlds Final. Guess the correct winner/answer some questions to get the car.
Maybe it'll be added to the ticket pool for the duration of the Nov update. 1% chance of getting the car out of a 6 star ticket.
That's going to be some strange magic PDs going to have to do. Especially since the Focus RS can't enter European events either. That wasn't a Problem with the Ford Focus, was it ?
The Ford Focus is a development of the european branch of Ford, not the american...
The fact that all these cars are already in FH5 saddens me, maybe it's time to get a Series SA quick side-by-side.
NO!I feel that the Castrol Supra will be the 25th Anniversary car. It makes the most sense IMO.
If you buy FH5 to fill a Gran Turismo itch I'd be willing to bet you'll be disappointed. It's a great game in its own right though. The fact that all these cars are already in FH5 saddens me, maybe it's time to get a Series S
I guess PD could code those specific cars to be both American and European, but I doubt that'll be the case - especially since the classic Mini is considered a German car...That's going to be some strange magic PDs going to have to do. You beat me to it! Yes, I expect the Sierra to be classed as an American Ford, because in GT5 to 7 MINIs are all German, even if they were built by BMC in the 60s, or Rover in 1998. By that wonky logic, the Bugatti Veyron could now be Croatian, and the Jaguar E-Type, retroactively Indian.I guess PD could code those specific cars to be both American and European, but I doubt that'll be the case - especially since the classic Mini is considered a German car...
As long as one of those could be the Nismo 270R or the S15 R tune, count me in.December update: 4 cars
4 Silvias

Long ago, Gran Turismo had a Ford (AU) section, with an AU Falcon Supercar in it... good times![]()
One way I've thought of that's been on my mind is something akin to the Silvia Sisters event.I guess PD could code those specific cars to be both American and European, but I doubt that'll be the case - especially since the classic Mini is considered a German car...
Sign me up for the old 240RS as well - that boxy monstrosity needs to come back. I'd accept the CSP311 returning too, but I seriously doubt it'll get much use.As long as one of those could be the Nismo 270R or the S15 R tune, count me in.

Like a Group A tourney or set of events featuring the M3, 190E, R32, and Sierra.
There's a Volvo in the datamine. Imagine where that winds up, if it arrives. You beat me to it! It would probably be categorised as a Swedish brand, not a Chinese one. There's a Volvo in the datamine. Imagine where that winds up, if it arrives
I don't know, Man. I guess it's up to the manufacturer. A brand like Bugatti is still French, but, as mentioned, see that Mini for reference. It would probably be categorised as a Swedish brand, not a Chinese one.
Each case is subjective.I don't know, Man. I guess it's up to the manufacturer. A brand like Bugatti is still French, but, as mentioned, see that Mini for reference.
TFW DeLorean is considered an American car, when it's actually Irish. 👀I don't know, Man. I guess it's up to the manufacturer. A brand like Bugatti is still French, but, as mentioned, see that Mini for reference.
British; the factory was in Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom rather than Ireland.TFW DeLorean is considered an American car, when it's actually Irish. 👀
Was the actual MINI marque ever not German? The classic Mini models were made by manufacturers like Austin and Morris, but I don’t think MINI existed as a marque until BMW decided to make retro-inspired compact cars.I don't know, Man. That’s why I quoted the “Mini” part. I can’t recall the brand being “MINI” under British ownership. Unless, those were the new 1.3 cars? Was the actual MINI marque ever not German? That’s the thing, if Bugatti, Audi, etc can be in their respective country of origin, why not the Mini brand? It’s a car from 1965, it should be under its own brand. Not alongside the new MINI. Again, maybe BMW own the rights to all things Mini. I don’t know.
It's intensely complicated, but yes Mini was a standalone marque from 1969 to 1980, and 1988 to 2000.I think it did become a marque of its own while it was British, but certainly went under Austin and Rover at various points.
Edit: oh and Mini became a BMW property when they bought Rover? I think..
