I just won a tokyo wtc600 race without penalties or car damage and got only 550k.
Appears PD took the clean bonus from tokyo wtc600.
I just knew it.
Are you complaining because the developers made something work as intended rather than dysfunctionally?

Race of turbo sports cars Suzuka circuit taking a very very long time to load and music still playing 🤔 😯 and have ssd on my ps4 pro

I know the other Traxion article was posted but was this?

This is correct. The entire network infrastructure was rebuilt from scratch and is now named Vegas - GT5P to GTS used the same one just improved upon that they named Grim.
Now, I'm not sure if it was truly needed; GTS's was already modern enough, seems to be the same case as them completely changing scripting language (proprietary, used from GT4 to GT Sport) to Swift, causing a bunch of small features that needed to be rewritten (and was added after launch).

Futureproofing seems to be the first answer that comes to mind.

So the PP lists in time trial mode are absolutely broken, right? Drove the stock VW id and the Audi etron. Both 8xx PP. Both come up in the 700 PP list. Any logic there that i don't get?

So since Road Atlanta came into GT7, I would say that expected circuits that will (or not) come into the game during it's lifespan can be:
-Grand Valley
-Cape Ring
-Mid Field
-Eiger
-Snow_Ishibashi (?)
-Red Rock Valley
-Sebring (Judging with recent track updates and the fact that Michelin sponsors that track a lot)
-Tokyo R246

All of these except from one come from source https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...scussion-thread.394098/page-164#post-13481886 but it's GTS's database so it's not very credible and same with next one

Next up is database found from scapes:
-Albert Park
-Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

All of this is about as likely as the entire GT5 & 6 track list coming to the game (including PS2 tracks since those are also hidden) as it's still present as leftover localization text or dev test entries, both in GTS and GT7. First source is notoriously not credible (taking text of any source without context as absolute granted, along with spreading the information on multiple accounts after being debunked).

For the scapes, they're basically entries that are so old that they may've aswell been scraped. There's been about twice as much scapes added since GTS's last updates.

It's not to say that they did not consider any of these to be added, but it's never known what their next plans actually is. Road Atlanta was a total surprise after seeing it gone in GT7.

Managed to get the win the Gr 1 race at Road Atlanta. So much fun fully sending a Porsche 919 through that first sector.

The new track is great, but not without its issues. Occasionally the frame rate with drop in the left handed just before the end of the first sector (I'm on PS5) and it hands you a 1 sec time penalty seemingly everytime you pit, with no explanation given.

Ran a two stop, fuel map 4 on RH tyres, stopping every ten minutes.
I gave it a try, finished 4th with the 2nd and 3rd just in front of me, while P1 lapped everyone.
I used Hard, Peugeot VGT and pitted basically every 10 mins.

Cannot understand what went wrong.... how can P1 lap everyone?

I guess a good rule to follow is that only about half of the cars and tracks in the datamines will ever make it into the game. The other half will probably be made up of stuff that wasn't found in any datamines.

I know from the patchnotes that XMAS music was added to the game. Has it not been deployed yet or did it just not come up in my game yet?

It's in the soundtrack, but not playing in any menus yet. I'm guessing they'll activate it later down the line.

They haven't made it work as intended, they intended to set the CRB rules as they were (they aren't the same in every race). They're simply changed them to make it harder to earn credits in that event. Probably because they can see people are grinding that event most and rather than simply providng other events that pay out a simialr/the same Cr per hour they've reduced the Cr per hour from that event.

That's crazy. I know the AI sometimes set super sonic fastest laps. I think it's a response to the top speed that your achieving.

What car was P1 driving? I think that if you're driving a car which makes up it's lap time in the corners, the leader won't run away with the race lead and lap everyone.

Best of luck with this race

As I have said I play Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon, Assetto corsa and Competizone, the crew, formula 1 games, dirt and dirt rally, and there’s just something about Gran Turismo, it’s rich history, yes I’ve been here since GT1, and I am a pad racer, to me it’s just “Special” yes it’s not perfection and we need more iconic gt tracks, I still think credit payouts need some tweaking and custom races need to pay more, but overall it’s special, Kaz and his team have a brilliant mind, the details, the polish, the love for the automobile and it’s rich history, I just spend hours watching my car in different spaces around the world or using scapes, there’s so much to love about Gran Turismo, reward ticket for the daily workout is nice, menus, music, the attention to detail and polish. The way the game feels better on a pad and improved over gt sport, some of the cars are so good. It’s just all special, the licence and circuit experience can be challenging gold times but the game wants you to learn and do better, you keep restarting then Sarah tells you take a breath and it’s ok keep going, you get smoother and faster then bam!! You get gold and also on my friends list which has super gt on there I have been at the top I’m not sure how I would say I’m above average, also the community are amazing the designs, race suits and cars etc 🤩 😯 just incredible. I wasn’t sure where I should write this please move gt planet (Also gt planet are the best I love this page and reading ad learning etc) I can’t wait for movie and I remember when interviews with Jann etc about gt academy, and hopefully we get more events like the world finals stuff and more single players racing too, also I love the cafe it’s quality and so good and love also the intro scenes to the world endurance racing I have done 600 and 700 the cut scenes there so good. I have been playing gt 7 a lot the last few days and enjoying working through the cafe etc. thank you for reading this everyone and Gran Turismo is special and Kaz is a very intelligent man 😃 🚗

I think we can all agree that riding the walls at Tokyo in order to win races doesn't fulfill the conditions of a CRB, no matter the level of leniency.

Nah, Road Atlanta was in gt7 world circuits localization files same as Watkins Glen before comming (found by beyond3d user), wasn't surprise at all just after you said there is 0 proofs its comming we forgot about it as you are most credible data miner for this game.

Hard to recommend any particular strategy for the Spa race as there is the possibility of rain throughout.

Like I said, just like everything else present since GT Sport that became irrelevant to consider.

Seems to be the same person as the first source by the way. They use different aliases and accounts across websites (reddit, neogaf, this very forum and more), spreading the same misinformation the same way. I feel like pointing it out because it's usually how the information spreads - confirmation from different sources that aren't.

Hard call it misinformation when he was right 2 times so far (so 2/2) ;d In the end it doesnt matter, its just speculation on forums.

It's truly down to what they're working on-the-moment. It makes it more likely, even though the concept that information removed between GTS and GT7 seems generally ignored anyway, because of wishlists and whatnot.
You're less likely to be wrong just encompassing the entirety of the data available through eyeballing and disregarding every bit about context (localization text is for instance, very easily carry-overs). Basic example, Red Rock Valley is just a testing entry. It's similar to the GT2 models that PDI has kept for tests (can be seen in one of their CEDEC presentations).

The Alsace Test Course for one was never present until released, right at launch.

I'm still waiting for Invitations from Ferrari...☹️
I'll trade you for a Martin invite. I only have 53 invites from Ferrari.
Are you complaining because the developers made something work as intended rather than dysfunctionally?
Exactly, but don't forget that "works as intended" for GT7 = "makes you keep buying MTX's."

I messed up the quote on buying a PS5, but not everyone has several hundred dollars to drop on one right now. In that case, PS4 it is...if you have one. My latest PlayStation console til now is a 30001 series fat PS2, so I bought a PS5 last year. Too bad Sony got out of portable gaming, all three of their portables we're decent.

We can agree on that, but you're missing the point that they've deliberately made it harder to grind credits in that event because it's the most used event for grinding rather than adding more high paying events people can enjoy instead.

Are the invites based on owning every car from Ferrari does it improve your chances? I own every car from Ferrari except those 3.
