Automated stewarding is a problem nobody has solved well yet. It's certainly not impossible, but it'd definitely be a big investment - there's a reason even iRacing's collision detection is basically "if it's not an egregariously obvious offence, assign fault to both parties".

It has been solved, and it was in place in many racing simulations, with many options to enable and disable rules. The current state of decay for titles losing more and more features each release makes it much worse. The rate of regression is abysmal. But apparently the "racing market" as portrayed by the con men is dominated by those who are ready to spend bajillions for ray tracing, not any gameplay or rules or fairness. If folks want actual racing rules, infractions, points, license acquisition and license suspension, maybe folks need to stop paying for things they don't want and make it clear what they want to pay for. It is by no means an unsolveable or unsolved problem. Just like rules in any sport, baseball, football, rugby, chess cricket, those are what make it fair and what make it enjoyable. The rules in Mario Kart are more obvious and clear and it's the best selling racing game for it.

unfair is not fun. Fair is Fun.

What's truly bewildering and absolutely unacceptable is that rules can be options and enabled and disabled as players prefers, so the truly unfounded shameful excuse that it's hard or might not be 157,000% correct in every case, so do nothing at all is up there with the greatest cons of all time.

This debate sure is a good advert for independant league racing, where there are human stewards.
Would recommend trying them out if you haven't already.
Literally one of the best things you can do is join a league on here! The passion you see in these leagues with people who share the same interests as you really brings this game out even more! I have friends from different countries that I’ve been racing with for years because of the leagues found on here! Another great thing is how better of a driver you become, learning techniques from others who have more experience. League racing has made me a way better driver.

Just thought about something, is the Porsche Mission X going to be 1,500 HP like Google says and will it be a Road Car? I could probably use it for Hypercar Parade grinding.

My main focus on this game by far. I would probably have stopped playing long ago if it was not for league racing. Even with TTs or weeklies.

I just got my ps5 pro with gt7 instaled. I did the data transfer from ps5 to ps5 pro and I can confirm I didnt loose any replays or photos with that method.
Here is a link to a video with a guide I used:

How long did your transfer take?

It's really remarkable how much time consoles are wasting for consumers and preventing them from using their own devices, and how it is accepted as just fine.. At this rate I imagine in the future people will just obey and comply to wait days for their domicle/head control unit/vehicle energy plants to be recharged every annual license renewal for breathable air. And just another confirmation the replays are not saved in the cloud or on the rental pay subscription PSN game save and just on the console itself and yet still arbitrarily and unnecessarily restricted ....

I followed exactly every step in the linked video. Took about 1h as I had about 450gb in 6 games installed.
Last gen when I from ps4 to ps4pro I didnt do data transfer ( just installed gtsport normally on my, at the time new, ps4 pro) and lost all my replays that werent share online.
I guess PD just assumes people will mostly do data transfer when switching consoles.

I guess sony/pd just want folks to have to buy a whole new PS5 Pro to get extra replay save room while 1.8TBs goes to waste and then keep the old console air gapped to have the replays till a PS5 OS image is available in a few years to enjoy the replays in a VM.

Likely:

#Road Car, #Concept Car, #Electric Vehicle and #Hypercar

Polyphony can create a fictional (yet believable) spec sheet for the Porsche Mission X much like what they did with the Toyota FT-1 road car.

Again, replay files are telemetry, not video, and require GT to reconstruct the replay itself, and the 2GB local save file cap is a hard limit instituted by PlayStation two generations ago.

Why you keep banging on this drum with incorrect information escapes me.

I understand being annoyed at the state of things (And boy do I have THE list of things I am especially not fond of), but to consistently bang out posts like that is abit much.
