DHG makes its first appearance during the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard this week (March 10-11). Its competitive debut will then come at the same venue on April 11-13 when the GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli and GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club join their GT3 counterpart in France.
The tyre will then be rolled out across SRO’s various championships in Asia, America and Australia throughout 2025.
P Zero DHG’s predecessor, the DHF, has been the cornerstone of SRO’s global activities for the past three years. Its replacement includes a range of sizes per class, as well as innovations and materials that provide a wider working range, faster warm-up and greater consistency in terms of car balance over long distances.
The new GT2 and GT4 spec tyres also feature those materials, as well as a new carcass with an optimised profile and construction that ensure a more uniform footprint across all track conditions for all cars.
The arrival of DHG also completes Pirelli’s overhaul of a GT range that includes the Cinturato WHB wet tyre. Introduced in 2024 solely for GT2 cars and in some championships also GT3, the latest evolution of Pirelli’s treaded tyre will be the standard across the board for all GT cars in SRO’s main championships.
