Yeah if it's kept to a minimum and the pics aren't posted in the person's gallery it's fine I reckon. Reposting something here for attention isn't really cool tho.
I'll stick to share occasional scapes shots of a livery here, the rest I do in the photo mode section or my gallery here

Sick stuff. Just to let you know, when I am creating a new livery and I search for decals I always search for yours first and if you don't have a certain one available I go to my next choices lol. I should rephrase that. I generally look for yours, MMX, and Krisduv THEN if none of you guys have the decal I look elsewhereRuf CTR3 GT3 "Ruf Motorsport" #25

Just got a 7 days ban for using a faketaxi logo I didn’t even upload myself 🤦🏻♂️.
Today during a daily race a guy couldn’t win of me, made a mistake and crashed in the wall (he was behind me so no pushing or breakchecking) he got so angry that he reported my livery resulting in a 7 day ban on my psn, what a sad people in the gt community 😢

...or just ask us, GT7 allowed us to upload more than 1000 decals now.
In my case, I have some decals I didn't share because I don't know if it interests someone, so...

I haven't been sharing a lot of decals this time, for whatever reason, but I don't mind doing it to help people out. I brought a bunch over from GTS, even went back and shared some that I didn't want out in the wild originally.
I've taken a different approach to the livery editor this time. In GTS, I was making a lot more tribute/replicas than original stuff, and I'd like to have that the other way around this time. The problem is finding the time, and ideas for original decals.

I honestly can't be bothered to share all decals I've uploaded via the PS with the controller keyboard and UI. If somebody needs a decal I uploaded I'd happily send it to the person to upload it themselves but unless PD lets us share decals from the website I really wouldn't be willing to invest the time

Here we go with all these. I forgot I had made all these a while back on GTS and I actually have the car in GT7. Gave them a freshen up here and replaced some missing decals and gave them proper windshield banners
And the ones that didn't get glamour shots
And literally just thought of a better way to make the windshield banner on the BP car. I should have made the whole background color green so the green extends to the edge, then I could have blocked out the center in white. Now I can't wait to get home to fix it.

This is a work in progress. I finally got my hands on SVG logos for a High Visibility/PPE manufacturer and I started making this livery.
But now I’m stuck, I feel uninspired and I don’t know what to do with the livery after trying several different ideas.
What would you try doing? Is the right side too busy? Should I keep it more busy like the left? Or something completely different?

I'm now completely puzzled by the decal migration process.
In 'Sport I used to follow someone and had quite a lot of their decals in my collection. The user was Japanese (I think) and all the decals were called something like 'texture (name)'. Then suddenly a while ago they all vanished. If today I go to the Livery editor in 'Sport, it says some decals are missing and they don't appear on the car.
Then yesterday I decided to migrate one of those liveries to '7 and replace the 'missing' decal with a substitute. However, the Import worked perfectly and the decal isn't missing.

Ugh! Was sure I reshared my favourite livery for the Nismo GTR so I could use it in 7 so went and bought it tonight only to find I hadn’t shared it! Not sure if I can be bothered with the hassle of installing GT Sport again just to get it in 7! 😢

Because the pattern established by 1-2,3-4,5-6 said that the smaller number on the same console is basically obsolete when the new one comes out. I can't really fault people for thinking the pattern would continue, when instead PD released an early access version of 7 instead and threw everyone's expectations on their heads.Why did so many people uninstall GTS?
Also what Barber... games have gotten way too big lately.

Really quick query... Painting custom parts. On some cars when I paint the whole thing, everything gets painted, but on others the splitters/skirts/etc stay in their default colour. Am I doing something wrong (I really hope so), or does it simply vary between vehicles? A major disappointment if so, as would mean I have to avoid special paints if I want it all to match.

After 4 hours I've decided this is as detailed as I'm going to try. Had to change some sponsors, the wheels,and really get creative with shapes but I'm happy for now.
The editor gets glitchy when you start moving layers through 200 of them.

Not really sure but it seems like carbon fiber pieces can't be painted. So you are correct that it is car specific but some have plastic splitters and sides that can be installed and painted. You can cover the ground effects in a decal that covers all of it also but you can't use special colors.

Can anyone find the Carrera GT's Guards Red in the paint shop? I'm either blind or it's mislabeled. Even setting the "Make" to "All", I can't find it.
I find it super annoying how cars that come default with Racing Discs can't have their default calipers painted in GT Auto. The Mustang Gr.3 Road Car for example, comes default with Slotted Racing Discs, and I can only paint the calipers if I installed the Drilled Discs or the Carbon Ceramic discs (which are a ripoff). Super annoying that I can't have painted calipers and keep my slots.
Also, another annoyance is that decals all seem to gain an unwanted white outline on windows and certain liquid metallic paints. I wanted to make it look like an unused licence plate was behind the rear glass, but it's impossible to recreate the window's pattern over the plate.
Yes, I know the world has bigger problems. I just like to whinge a bit as stress relief.
