I'm just reiterating what I've said before previously in this thread. Still no fix for me when wanting to just paint a car. Even after the 1.12 patch. Its bizarre thing I have no decals applied anywhere on any of my vehicles. It happens with any car I pick. I pick what color I want like matte white or whatever. It'll show it on the car and I will hit apply design and it'll fluctuate between 30-33%. The background music will play but it won't go past 33 percent. I legitimately waited over 30 minutes one time to see if it would just brute force it's way through but to no avail. It's maddening because all I want to do is simply paint a car that's it. It has been happening since the beginning and the patches haven't addressed it yet I'm starting to doubt that they will. If anyone has any work arounds to this problem or have experienced the same thing please let me know.

It's probably not this, but it might be worth a try...

On the PS4 with GTS I had to connect my Playstation to my router with a cable... it simply wouldn't upload and apply a livery if the Playstation was using a WiFi connection. I've no idea why, everything else in the game worked fine online and it was a good high speed connection... it just would not upload a livery without a wired connection.... could be similar to what you're seeing.

The one of the last of two GTRs to run Le Mans, this one managed a respectable 4th overall finish. Not bad for a privateer team with a year old car.

Thanks for the tip unfortunately it didn't work. Also I'm sorry if I forgot to mention but I'm not trying to apply a livery or decal just paint. Alas it's still doing the same thing. Thanks so much for the assistance anyway. It's truly bizarre because it'll do it also when I'm applying a wing to a car or changing the color of the tires; The most puzzling thing is it'll freeze at the same percentage there, I'll close the app and reboot the game and those changes to the car (wing and tire color change) will have taken effect. Unfortunately that trick doesn't work with the freezing percentage during paint.

Does anyone know how to paint only the license plate? For example, in the Ford Raptor, if I paint the plate, there's a weird duplication happening on the bumper behind. Same thing happens on other cars like the Toyota Tundra and Mazda Roadster '15. Is there a way around this or is it just a bug that can't be avoided?

I think its car dependent. On some cars the Other area includes space around the plate, on some its just the plate. You'll just have to use a plate-sized decal or match as closely as you can with a rectangle with rounded corners.

I thought so. It's just so off-putting to see a license plate on a license plate, when the duplication happens. I might have to try with alternate plate styles.

I'm probably the last one to find this out, but sharing a livery as Friends Only in GTS, will not let it show up in GT7. It has to be shared publicly.

Not sure the same applies to decals though.

Anyone here got any issue while trying to import a livery from GT Sport? I did only a few and tried to get one for the 787b but the game gets stuck in the downloading screen and nothing happens.

Managed to import a 911 RSR design without issues, but none of my 787B liveries work. Even went back to GTSport and shared a new version of one of them and didn't work.

This one is one of my favorites. Did that for a LEC back in GTS days and it's a modern take on the Wera sponsored Kremer Porsches from the early 1980s.

The originals were actually dark blue, but I think the black with fosforescent green accents work better, so I changed that.
