Gran Turismo 7 Livery Editor - General Discussion Thread

Seems like if your livery has a deleted decal, it will disappear when you go to GT Auto, regardless if you changed liveries (using Load Style or Open Design) or not.

In GT Sport, if you switch to a livery with a deleted decal, the deleted decals stay there unless you edit it (when editing, you will be warned if the game can't find the decals). Additionally, the deleted decals are still there if it's shared/stored as a style and then previewed in Showcase menu.

In this example, note the Stewart-Haas Racing logo on the front. (Note: After I noticed this, I restarted the game without leaving GT Auto, hence the garage time being later.)

And if the livery you're using is locked from editing it's at this moment you know you're screwed

May was a really busy month, but I finished another SuperGT 2005 livery, this time the Team Taisan Advan Porsche, with the famous Endless design. Ever since Pontaro released the Endless decal in GT Sport (and thankfully in GT7) there are a LOT of Endless designs, but no one did the 2005 livery. I must say, I think the later Endless designs are more prettier but I like recreating the whole 2005 season.

It's not much of a design, but more a lot of decals. Most of them weren't made, and I had to create multiple from scratch which was a nice learning curve. Almost all of them were handmade and can be shared if wanted.

Download it here (as well as some other 2005 liveries!)

Sounds like a nice Online Racing Series :dopey:

Well I only did 5 so far.. A lot of (especially GT500) cars from the 2005 season have already been done by other creators so I think I can already fill in 20 slots.
It's just that I'm not a grinder so I don't have a lot of credits to do a custom race with 7 separate Porsches haha. But might have to get some credits some day for that!

But I was hoping they would add some Nissan Z GT300 cars (the one from 2005 and the brand new one from '22!).. So I can do some more. Most cars aren't in the game.

Same on base PS4 also happens if you change styles via GTAuto, it downloads the brighter preview then once applied it goes dull.

Almost looks like an issue with HDR.
HDR was not activated when I was on the PS4, so that makes sense.

Shame there is still no SuperGT Nissan Fairlady in the game.. So had to do it with the base model, but with some tuning it was definitely able to keep up with Gr. 3 Cars

I finished the CCI Recaldent Z, with all chrome details! Masking is a pain but worth it.
And yes in the back is also finished the Arta Garaiya.

I think it's almost time for a group pic like @krisduv made.. This weekend I have finished the 2 other Fairlady cars from the 2005 season (Dreamcubes and another Endless).

Still in doubt which model I should use for the MR-S cars.

I livery that i always loved, sadly in GTS due to the 300 decals limit i had to scrifice some details, but now in GT7 is perfect!

2016 Forum Engineering GT-R --> DOWNLOAD LINK

This livery took me A LOT of time, but i love the result, i used chrome blue to replicate the roof, but the silver parts of the liery maintain the metallic effect due to 80% transparency, also the wing and the mirror have a perfect carbon effect.

If you like the livery please like it, it makes me happy .

P.S: Follow me if you like SGT replicas.

For the 100th running of Pikes Peak this year, E-Motion Engineering built out a sick twin-turbo 2016 GT3-R for the hill climb (featured on Speedhunters). Transferring it to the RSR in GT7 was fairly straightforward, outside of some fender differences due to the custom Pikes Peak bumpers… and finding/making a bunch of sponsors that just aren't in the game.

Can someone please help me. :/ How do I get real Lamborghini colours into the game that aren't in the game ? I am looking for Tahiti Blue Metallic.

If anyone wants to try help me find the accurate colours to the real one please, here are the colour chart numbers I am using.

H 187 S 100 V39

Maybe it's just my lg TV oled screen but the colours seems more green most of the time. My Pics were taken on my Rog phone 6.

Honestly the pics look blue on the phone on pics 3 and 4 showing the rear of the car 2, and closeup of rear light 4.

The 2nd image of the blue Lamborghini looks way more blue than mine looks. Not sure what to do and need some help from someone.

Here's some pics and then my attempt in the colour editor. Only mine looks more green and never as blue looking as some of the online images.

One of the online pics appears same greenish colour as mine, then blue in other images. I don't know whether I have the correct colour or not.

Online images. Sometimes looking way more blue than mine.
