In the Guide listing, the Toyota TS050-Hybrid should be 2016, the car that broke down with a lap to go at 24h du Mans, and not revised 2017 car which holds the all-time fastest lap at Circuit de la Sarthe.

I don't think that's quite right;

My only complaint about the car list so far is the absence of any Impreza WRX STI and Lancer Evo from the 2000s. Those cars defined my journey with GT during those years, but otherwise a very fine lineup.

I feel you wholeheartedly on that one, having used the Lancer Evo VII and VIII GSR and RS quite extensively in GT5 and GT6 :(

On the upside, being 2001 and later models, there's every chance that they'll be introduced at a later date as Brand Central products 🤞🏼

If you do still have a functioning PS3, then of course you can still revisit the good old days, like I occasionally do;

This just looks like a list of GT Sport cars. I haven't seen the 300ZX, or the X-Bow, or the VIZIV anywhere in GT7 media. Can you let me know where you've seen them?

The RCZ, older BRZ, and Honda VGT are on the "400 Cars" image, but I must have missed them. Which is odd as I remember the RCZ very clearly...
The Subaru VIZIV is also visible on the photo with the 400 cars. The rest of the cars are indeed from GT Sport but I have assumed they are put to GT7 as well. I must have misunderstood the essence of the Master Car List thread. Anyway, great job on making and keeping that list up to date. And also kudos on finding the not always obvious clues about the name of the cars.
Thank you GTPlanet. :cheers::gtplanet:

Damn, the little sod's hiding between the Lancia Stratos and the A70 Supra.

Yeah, we've always assumed that almost all - if not all - GTS cars would carry over to GT7, and that's reinforced by Kazunori Yamauchi saying something very similar, but ultimately we're only tracking stuff seen in official GT7 media to date.

Most of what was revealed in the last couple of days was indeed GTS stuff carried over, but there are some cars yet to show up. The 400-car image ends at WRX, which means at least an extra row to account for stuff like the X-Bow, XJ13, Zagato IsoRivolta, X2014 and maybe, depending on how the in-game filename is formatted, the Nissan 300ZX (z32_ something maybe?), but while it looks like we've seen all the others, the 300ZX hasn't to my knowledge shown up yet.

Here's the X-Bow:
Good spot; it's absolutely nowhere in any of the media bundle Sony sent over :irked:
Also, I want to point out that the Ford Focus RS and Shelby GT350R are 2018 and 2016 model years, respectively, as seen in the Brand Central section.
In the Guide listing, the Toyota TS050-Hybrid should be 2016
There's always going to be some dates not quite right thanks to the various ways the names are shown and which images they appear in. We've also had, in a previous GT title, PD change the year of a car already in the game in an update once.
Aren't you forgetting the 512BB in your master car list?
No. I just hadn't seen it to that point.
Isn’t the Ferrari Dino coming back from GT Sport?
And that's bloody odd, because I had that car specifically marked out on the list (because it's not a Ferrari, but is under Ferrari in the game; it's one of two Ferraris that always annoys me, but the other is the GTO and PD gets that one right, thankfully).

Edit: D'oh, found why the 512 and Dino weren't there :ouch:

On the 400 car-picture, what's that car to the left of the Corvettes? Alphabetically, it's between Copen and Corvette, so is it maybe a Dodge Coronet Super Bee '70 ...?

It's got that quite distinctive nose.

Yes. In the game screens we've seen - and in GT Sport - it's just called Super Bee, but it seems likely the filename is coronet_(something) based on the placement.

Really admirable job, however I think F430 '06 should be marked as blue rather than purple since it's a returning car from GT5 and GT6.
The 430 in GT5 and GT6 was the 2007 430 Scuderia, not the 2006 F430. The 430 Scuderia is lighter and more powerful than the F430 (and doesn't have an F).

Well in April or May we have the first update maybe.

The car list is not bad at all, maybe just left some GT1 Le Mans cars, '00s LMP Le Mans, Evo VII, IX, some Impreza WRX, other Jaguar street car, '90s sport cars like XJ220, EB110, Zonda C12 and more mundane cars.

the regular F430 was also in the game
Well, I must have forgotten it existed.
DS3 racing in gt sport is from 2011, you have writed 2015
Yes, I'm being kind.

DS Automobiles is a separate brand from Citroen in GT7. We don't actually know what's under it at the moment, but the only DS under Citroen in GT Sport is the DS3 Racing, so I've temporarily placed it there.

However, it being a 2011 car is problematic.

Although DS launched as a sub-brand of Citroen in 2009, DS Automobiles didn't exist as a brand until 2012, and that was only in China. It only became a standalone marque in 2015.

That means that no DS Automobiles brand car (other than Chinese-market models I don't recall the names of) earlier than 2015 can appear. Every pre-2015 DS is a Citroen, not a DS.

The 2011 car was definitively a Citroen - it was called the Citroen DS3 Racing. The DS-branded DS3 Racing first appeared in 2015, unchanged from the 2011 car, before a facelift (and more power) for 2016.

So, if the DS3 Racing appears under DS Automobiles, it's either correctly a 2015 model or wrongly an earlier one. It may still appear as a Citroen and something else will appear under the DS brand, in which case I'll move it back to Citroen and re-date it.

Since the game releases in the beginning of March, I wouldn't roll off a March update. Plus, these days a game releasing without any bug is something that doesn't happen very often, and if there is any bugs, there will have to be an update in the first couple weeks. It may or may not have new content though.

I'd give the car list so far a 6, maybe 7/10. Fairly good, but not mind blowing.

I found the car (Nissan Fairlady 300ZX Z32) in the latest State of Play video. It can be seen at the opening scene of the Visuals & Simulation chapter. Here's a screenshot I took. I think, the car at the very back, right next to the blue car (Ferrari 500 Mondial Pininfarina) is the 300ZX.
