I found the car (Nissan Fairlady 300ZX Z32) in the latest State of Play video. It can be seen at the opening scene of the Visuals & Simulation chapter. Here's a screenshot I took. I think, the car at the very back, right next to the blue car (Ferrari 500 Mondial Pininfarina) is the 300ZX.

Excellent spot - here it is in 4K:

Are there any remarkable differences between the ‘95 Integra Type R and the 1998 version? The DC5 would have seemed more worthwhile.
This is very much not the thread for that discussion - or any other save what cars people have seen in official GT7 media.

Hey @Famine, speaking of Superbirds, you forgot to change it to Plymouth (2).

Also it seems like the WHOLE GT Sport roster will be carried over....

....EXCEPT THE FITTIPALDI.

They probably didn't want to go through the licensing for it again.

No big loss.
Absolutely nothing was ever seen or heard of from Fittipaldi after the release of GT Sport, where I do remember hearing they will build 39 examples of their VGT as track-day specials - none were ever produced.

Also back to the "Over 400 cars" segment - the W08 is seemingly nowhere to be seen there. Given that the cars appearing there appear on internal name basis (f1_w08_eq_17/f1_w08_eq_17_le), it should be somewhere here:

EDIT: Order of cars appearing here by internal name basis - note there's an inconsistent sorting:
  • f_type_gt3m_xx
  • f_type_gt4m_xx
  • f_type_r_coupe_14
  • f8_tributo (internal name assumed)
  • f12_berlinetta (internal name assumed)
  • f150_svt_raptor_11
  • f430_06
  • f40_92
  • f50_95
  • f1500t_a_xx

According to the alphanumeric logic of the rest of the chart, and your own list here, the W08 would likely fall after the WRXes meaning it's one of several cars on the last row that we can't see. The cars are ordered by model name and nothing else, meaning the W08 would be called W08, and would appear immediately after whatever cars have only W+letters in their name.

It's hard to figure out the logic behind the car database but that's the only way I could filter out the missing cars. But here comes the question: if only the last row is missing, then what could be another 8 cars and why are they not shown on the list? I doubt it that their codename would start with letters after "W". Anyway, in case someone would be wondering, those are the "hidden" cars with their estimated codenames:

WRX_sti_street - Subaru WRX STI Type S '14
W08_f1 - Mercedes AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ 2017
W08_f1_colour - Mercedes AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ (Color Variation) 2017
X2014_Jr - Red Bull X2014 Junior
X2014_standard - Red Bull X2014 Standard Car
X2019_comp - Red Bull X2019 Competition
XANAVI_gtr - Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R '08
XJR9_jag - Jaguar XJR-9 '88
XJ13_jag - Jaguar XJ13 '66
XNR_ghia - Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster '60
X_bow - KTM X-BOW R '12
Z4_gt3 - BMW Z4 GT3 '11
Z8 - BMW Z8 '01
Z32_300zx - Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX TwinTurbo 2seater (Z32) '89
Zagato_vgt - IsoRivolta Zagato Vision Gran Turismo
Zonda_r - Pagani Zonda R '09

There are 3 more cars missing but they don't fit anywhere:
  • Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina
  • Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo LH Edition
  • Audi R18 TDI (Le Mans 2011)
