This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
I don't think VR was even mentioned at all in the tech presentation. As Famine's article reads, GT7 was really only highlighted to talk about ray-tracing & then it moved on.I hope somebody asked about VR.
on CNET there is written that the PSSR works in the VR2 games tooI hope somebody asked about VR.
Thank God! It was a no-brainer to assume it'd be supported but you never know with Sony and how they've treated the PSVR2 thus far.on CNET there is written that the PSSR works in the VR2 games too
PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution Will Also Support PS VR2 in the Future
According to a report, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution will work across the full library without patches. Eventually, even on PS VR2.wccftech.com
Agreed... also hoping the supply chain issues are sorted and I wont have to wait 2 years to buy oneThank God! It was a no-brainer to assume it'd be supported but you never know with Sony and how they've treated the PSVR2 thus far.
I'd be shocked if we go through that again but you never know.Agreed... also hoping the supply chain issues are sorted and I wont have to wait 2 years to buy one
Given the current feedback on most social sites there is unlikely to be that level of demand...Agreed... also hoping the supply chain issues are sorted and I wont have to wait 2 years to buy one
No.8k GT7 with ray tracing
Oh.. I see, but 4k with ray tracing is pretty impressive but I wonder where it leaves VR players? No.
You can have 8K without ray tracing or 4k with ray tracing.
For all our complaints (justifiable) about image blurriness and lack of HUD elements in VR it is still game changing in GT7. I was originally on the fence about upgrading my wheel but was talked into VR instead by members on this forum. They were right. If you only had money between either a Pro or PSVR2, you should take PSVR2.I was seriously considering buying VR but I guess this might gazump that
I just need a smallish lotto win and I’ll get the lot! 🤣For all our complaints (justifiable) about image blurriness and lack of HUD elements in VR it is still game changing in GT7. You're british, so a bank and a sawn off 12-gauge also works in that regards. Of course, His Majesty's Prison may want a word with you....I just need a smallish lotto win and I’ll get the lot! 🤣
It's not even comparable, I'd go VR every time. GT7 in VR is an experience that goes beyond visual fidelity. And to be quite honest, you don't notice a lot of the graphical artifacts in the heat of a race... There's a ton to be desired because PD has neglected the VR mode but it's still stellar.I was seriously considering buying VR but I guess this might gazump that
The good news is they're all full so no issues there!Of course, His Majesty's Prision may want a word with you....
They only gave very broad overviews of what each game will have.Oh.. I see, but 4k with ray tracing is pretty impressive but I wonder where it leaves VR players?

Got some thinking to do 🧐
This isn't a GT7 issue. Sony imposes a 2GB cap on file save sizes. Why, I can't say, but it's not on PD's shoulders no matter how many GT7 threads you put it in.2TBs of ps5 pro space but no unlimited automatic replay saves in Gran Turismo 7 because you can't use the space the way you want. They really need to get it together.
That's not true, I can have unlimited screenshots and media recordings. And even if it were, they could make a replay save allocation/"file" and have as many of the allocations as you want with dozens of replays in each. This isn't a GT7 issue. It is true, and those aren't game save files. That's not true, I can have unlimited screenshots and media recordings.
