I see, that sounds reasonable. I‘m probably going to wait for a PS5 release as I‘m going to get a PS5 Pro later this year anyway!

Like some others here, I already have all the cars.
But I preferred to drive Le Man's.
And when it was still possible, Tokyo with the Tomahawk. That was the most fun race for me until PD came along and said "Fun is not good, we have to counteract it!".

The LP thing has been annoying me ever since it came into existence. I also don't understand why I can't unlock this "luxury".

For example, I drive the race 5 times under PD's conditions, even without making any mistakes, and then the LP and vehicle type limit (racing cars, normal cars, professionally tuned cars) is deactivated.
This means I can use many more of my cars in different races.
For me it was the Abarth/Daytona glitch. 1.6mil in ~20 minutes for doing practically nothing? Hell yes! That was the last time I actually had deep investment in the game since completing the books and getting to level 50. I wish another high-payout glitch would come around to revitalize the game a bit. We're long overdue for some more tommy abuse.

Edit: I actually do wonder if PD aren't adding QoL things anymore simply because they're afraid that a glitch would come out again and disrupt their idea of the game's economy since every time they added something major it came with a glitch (Tommy/Tokyo with the suspension affecting PP, Extra menus with the ticket glitch with engines and NSX GrBs, then the Abarth/Daytona with the custom races...). Truthfully PD's idea of a balanced economy is like giving nickels to starving kids, so it is really to no wonder why so many abused these things when they were around.

Oh I was replying specifically to your false conclusion that I’m solely driving the highest reward races.
For the rest I’m not sure what I’m supposed to say to you. Yes, at roughly one mil per hour it takes me around 20 hours to get one of those cars. Where your wrong again is that you seem to think I’m having a miserable time doing so? The reality is that I’m getting a lot out of my initial €80 investment here and I’m just having fun with my game. A lot.

My plan for you would be to

  • do all the CEs
  • do the weeklies every week
  • do the online TT every week
  • be a bit less whiny on the internet
  • try to get your daily ticket by doing whatever as often as you can

You’ll soon have a garage full of your own 20 million cr tracktors that you’ll never drive.
I have been playing GT7 since January 2024 & have strangely enough golded a few CEs and completed most or all CEs on one or a few of my GT7 users [I have 5 different users on PS5], and almost every day did the marathon and almost every week completed the weekly, still have less than 10M on every user and less than 2-3M on all the other users. The problem is that it's impossible for me to get gold on time trials, and also impossible to get gold on most CEs like the Tokyo stuff and Nurburgring & some others. And absolutely no 20 million car! But alas, GTplanet people saying that GT8 is years away so nuff' time for me to boringly grind tens or hundreds of hours to achieve enough millions of credits to own all the 20M cars!
