Thanks! But let be honest, they didn't add anything in the last 2 months, pretty sure they are working on getting VR in a decent state... I don't believe "the day one" thing....if the same is full of bugs, like after almost a year lobbies are still not working properly.
Anyway hope this make the game better.
I don't think there will be lots of bugs. The VR support has been built-in the game from day one, because it's just an extended GT Sport VR mode, thanks to the power of the PS5. It's just been locked out due to PSVR2 not being aroud.

Kind of a reason why Kaz been talking about "having PSVR2 in mind when developing GT7", other than marketing ofc.

Only changes they had to make is basically add support for the new foveated rendering, which I'm sure comes straight from SONY as a part of the whole VR support package for devs.

If this update comes with no extra content other than VR support, it will be very disappointing for a number of reasons...

PlayStation support for the last gen console is likely ending this year especially when you look at big AAA exclusives that are going to be PS5 only. Previously big titles released for both gen but after 2 years of the new system they are right to finally move on from last gen.

GT players on the old system didn’t miss out. And they weren’t an afterthought as PD delivered a great GT7 experience. We’ve seen what VR could do on last gen it’s time now to move forward by delivering great experiences on the current gen.

I know it’s difficult for old gen users or for those that are not economically in a position to upgrade to new hardware but for PD to make it work and help Sony sell more PlayStation 5s it’s necessary to move on from last gen.

FOMO is real but hopefully everyone will get to experience it in time.

Really exciting with the vr showroom, cant wait for that, if psvr2 is as good as has been said it will create a big experince, i have tried some be headsets and the feeling is like being in the car witch can make almost any car fun

Beside the VR2 update we will be getting the same update again like we were getting it the months before; 3-5 New Cars, Few new Events that's it...
Yeah, I think this month is PSVR2+some cars and few new events and scapes (bug fixes too maybe), while next month we will probably be getting a bigger update for the 1st anniversary with a bunch of new cars, new track or layouts, a solid bunch of new events (maybe endurances), quality of life improvements, lobby fixes etc.

I don’t know how long it took PD to make High Speed Ring, Trial Mountain and Deep Forest for GT7, but for a 25th Anniversary update, Autumn Ring, Grand Valley and some kind of Special Stage based on Tokyo Expressway should have been added.

I’m glad we got the RS500 and Road Atlanta, but that wasn’t a good representation on the 25th anniversary. Including a special RB Livery, the M2 and Ferrari VGT still wasn’t enough. Online races, but no 300km races. Something like that.

My guess is that along with the PSVR2 update, we will get 6-10 cars and a track.

Since this will be 1.29, I would think it will include what should have been in 1.28 for the January update that we did not get.
So 3-5 cars from 1.28 plus 3-5 cars for 1.29 and why not throw in a new (or old!) track to give us more to look at in PSVR2

I think it's safer to anticipate only the PSVR2 in this update. Couldn't expect something more to be honest.

March 4th could be interesting though; GT7's first anniversary, 2.5 months without new content so it could be held up for this milestone.

Plus, we had some hints that the new chassis for Super Formula is coming in the future. The car's first shakedown is scheduled, coincidentally, for March 4th. A sign of things to come shortly after maybe.

Frankly, it's too close to call. PD/Sony may be focussing all their attention on PSVR2 to make sure that the launch goes well. It is their halo project after all - the equivalent of a car company launching a glamorous supercar to sell more hatchbacks.

This might mean that the next update is mostly or wholly PSVR2 with not much new PS4 content. Or they might decide that PS4 owners need to get something new.

But whatever happens I expect that we will get more content the month after. The PS4 market is still too big to be ignored.
