At least 8-10 New Cars
3-5 NEW Championship Races
3-5 NEW Enduro Races (30/60 mins. )
Would you like a winning lottery ticket as well?

I mean the events I can get behind, but 8-10 new cars a month won't work.

I think 3 tracks a year and 3 interesting cars a month, with 2/3 interesting events every months permanently added. 90 min Endurance races would be mega, theres no reason why this in particular can’t be easily done. I create them currently and they are a blast.

More variety too. Give us some Australian stuff, and some really new stuff too.

I want it back. :dopey:

At the very least, an update to Sport Mode specifically where these road cars are a bit more justified (aside from one-make Race A) would be MUCH welcome.

I would love to use these cars but it remains the case that Sport Mode is the only way to enjoy truly competitive racing. To make it work it would require PD to actively manage the proceedings every week which I don't think they've ever bothered with (Sport Mode has minimal thought put into it every week imo...race A and B are basically on the same shuffle)

It has been status quo since months in that regard so I have no hope for any change there. IMHO all the events should be rewarding with the same level (proportionnaly to the length and difficulty) as those big 3. It would offer a lot of variety to grind.
I didnt get 7 until last November but apparently the Spa and Le Mans races were introduced to reduce the repetitive grind lol. And they were introduced like 2 years ago? Very funny.

Their models are relatively future proof, details like some low poly parts (round parts that are edgy right now for example), can be easily upscaled I guess, this maybe like that right now because it’s a cross-gen title I would think. I think Kaz also stated that the current models are downgraded right now because of technical limitations.
But yeah, FM‘s car models have some real quality gaps between each other, haven’t recognized something like that in GT7 yet, and for me it’s really important that they keep this consistency in quality (and their quality is just amazing), therefor I would prefer to have less cars then some bad car models.

I don’t think it’s weird to have cars in a Paid DLC pack, and others not, works fine in Forza Horizon for example. What is „most desirable“ and which are „bad ones“ as you say, is more your personal definition and not really based on the community’s desires, these are very mixed I got the impression. I have no problem with them having to pay for something that is well crafted and is quality content, a „paywall“ is not necessarily a bad thing. In this case I don’t have the feeling to be screwed over or anything like that, if they need to put a price on it to finance this, I’m in.
But this is all just my view from the outside, I have no idea what’s going on inside PD and how their staff situation is, what their profit looks like, etc.
Quality over quantity is fine, up to a certain point. If that quality means that the models are future proof, and that in a few years, GT reaches 1000 cars with this same quality, then great. If the quality isn't as future proof as we think it is, and by GT9 they need to ditch everything and start from scratch again, then that quality over quantity gets fishy, and most people would probably rather have 1000 GT7 (or even GT6 Premium-level) cars, instead of less cars that will only look noticeably better if you own an 8k or 16k monitor/TV.
And this is a problem with gaming in general. FPS's getting less maps and less weapons, football games having less stadiums, less costumization, etc.

It's not weird having cars split between paid and unpaid DLCs. It's weird how would they make that choice, of which are meant to be paid, and which are not. Picking it based on desirability would be a massive assumption. And why should I pay for the car that I want, and the next guy gets the car he wants for free? Why would they penalize some preferences over the others? Then you have the price, it's one thing to ask 5€ for 5 Ferraris, and another is asking the same amount for some 5 random Mazdas. Things get worse if they did packs of # cars instead of individual cars, and in that assortment of cars, to get the one you want, you might have to pay a lot more for the rest. It's even worse if we think about a season pass of some sort, where you pay a considerable amount of money and you have no idea of what you'll get. And, chances are some people will just wait for the next game, instead of buying the paid DLCs, as most, if not all of those cars, will be in the base game for free.

Also, there are definitely bad cars. Specially when it takes them months to model a single one, and the car doesn't really fit the game. That's why there needs to be a set of criteria to add a car, instead of the "moveable object with wheels" that they are going with right now. Meme cars should stop. And people should reconsider their idea of regular traffic/everyday cars. An RS6 Avant, a Focus RS Mk1, a Clio Williams, a CT5-V Blackwing, Golf V GTI, and so on work very well as the "regular traffic" representation, without punishing the players who want road cars with some sporty performance. You want an SUV? You can get a performance SUV like the T-Roc R, a GLA 45 AMG, a Purosangue, etc. There's no need to go for the everyday car that has zero performance.
Even for race cars, there are ways to do better.

By meme cars do you mean stuff like the Alpharad?

Evo IX: this car is probably the best Evo in the game and I say that as a fan of the Evo V. It's good stock, it's good at 550pp and it's very good when fully upgraded. I'm still trying find a setup for 600pp without permanent upgrades, but so far no luck. At 700pp the car can reach +290 km/h and in the Le Mans race fuel can last for 3 laps using FM6 and it's very easy to drive. Tire wear is also good; by the end of the race, front tires still had half bar to go while rear tires had minimum wear, almost unnoticeable. My best lap was 4:03.xxx with room to improve. I will tell you something, but you need to promise that you won't tell Ms. Subaru Impreza: this car is really, really good!

I didn't know the EVO 9 is really fuel-efficient. I'll probably try to do LeMan with it later today. This update so far is very minimal, but I forgive Kaz, thanks to the Evo9. LoL
So far, it is everything I expected it to be. I've dreamed about this car while riding the bus in college. Ended up buying an STI because that was the next best thing I could afford.

Took the TTS and Evo IX for time trial runs at Road Atlanta and ended up running damn near the exact same time at 1:40.xx. Both are good fun, but the Evo feels a lot more enthusiastic and sounds really good. The TT is more sedate and stable, but faster on the straights. I have to say I enjoy both of them, and will likely end up using the Evo quite a bit.
