Would be cool if we had a marketplace of sorts where players could exchange content. But something like this wouldn't happen because it defeats the FOMO design.

But I appreciate the thought!
Am showered with invites since I don't need them anymore, I'll gladly give them to someone in need. I get one per week at the minimum, while I could wait 2 months to get one at the beginning of the year.

You're not going to find many games with online marketplaces where players can trade assets. And the reason for that is rather obvious: Players would immediately offer items for sale on the Internet.

Looking forward to tomorrow's update. This game needs a shot in the butt, IMO, so I am hoping this is it.

-New track
With a new tracks comes a new CE and the oportunity to get a chunk of cash.
-New cars
-New physics (has me a little nervous but I hope the cars don't feel like driving on ice anymore; I just hope they don't mess with the BoP much as it's in a pretty good place at the moment)
-Sophy around N24
-Two expiring TTs (quite confident I'll be getting 4mil credits)
-Hopefully two new TTs
We'll see how PD wants to handle the bi-weekly TT events since that's currently off schedule. I am hoping we get two new ones, one of which lasts one week and the other lasts two weeks. Other option is we just get one that lasts two weeks and get a second a week from tomorrow.
-Weekly Challenge races & prizes announced (here, not in game but still something to look forward to)
-Michelin tires. Really don't know what to expect here but I am very curious.

I am putting some extra time into work today so I can be done a little earlier tomorrow. :D

I used to do track weekends somewhat frequently. Never heard that term before. Hmmmm, okay.
Really? You never ran the same size tires all around? ( square setup or non staggered) which car did you track? I did in a mx5

Crazy thought. After PD added Sophy in Arcade mode for certain tracks I thought it will be updated with more tracks more often, but we have waited 9 months for this actually. I wonder maybe it has to do with the physics update? How it influence Sophy training? What if after this physics update we will get more often new track for sophy?

New low hit with world circuit events. It's bad enough we have a 6 car update with only 5 events, but now one of the new events can't even be completed with any of the new cars and looks like there is no new event for the new Genesis VGT. Nothing for the Lambo either really. Just amazing.

If anyone's looking for a big single-player campaign to sink their teeth into, may I recommend my custom career? :P

I'll definitely be adding Eiger to the Rally League and Manufacturer League in the next update to the career, which is in the next week or two. But it is fully-finished as of now. 1000+ races, classic GT style progression blended with a motorsport journey. It has a 'Quick Play' setup option as well for more of a jump-in-and-play experience.

You do lose out on some of the structure as far as points scoring goes, but there is no way to get around that with how custom races are set up. In that sense it is much more like classic GT as the events are individual events with no points tracking.

There's a 'Custom Play' option with custom drivers and points systems also, though of course it will take longer to set up all the opponent cars.

In the 'Quick Play' option, for some parts of the career, you do have to set up the opponent cars and names, for license events, for example. But for most of the mainline career leagues, you don't have to.

Yea, my cars had the same size tires all around... I just never heard that called a "square setup" before.

It'd be great if we could see the tire temps on the HUD somewhere.

Looks like its the unchanged:
TC, BB, Fuel, Weather, Radar, Track Map, Splits

Edit: that's if this race has Fuel usage

They could put the temps on/near the tire wear area. Likely a pipe dream and it won't happen, but I'll happily eat crow if it does!
I really don’t get why pd dose not give us this as if u use a sim dash app the data get pulled from the game via wifi, also was it gt5 or gt6 that had the tire temp on screen 🤔 so Mabe one day we can get in gt7

Another extra menu book not worth doing. There's absolutely nothing they could reward us with that is worth spending that kind of money for.
Or... hear me out, you pay 20mil for the McLaren as a car to drive and the menu book is just a perk. The F1 is a car I specifically saved for because it's special, I wanted it, and it's great to drive.

Who would have thought you would buy a car for the ability to drive it?

Liked, Bookmarked, Sainted... 👍
Will be looking to start doing this, once you've added Eiger into the career events.

Does anyone know why pd still not add mclaren’s street cars? They didn’t add any mclaren since the MP4/4 Maybe if mclaren have license problem as same as lotus? We got laferrari and 918,so where is the street version P1?

It would be nice if they added some more high paying races, rather than the 4 we currently have. I remember Kaz letter to the community saying how wanted us to avoid a situation where a player must mechanically keep replaying certain events over and over again.......
What are the 4? I only know 1. 727,500 every ~25mins, for the 1,746,000 average per hour. and that one has invaded my dreams... Ooof 3 legendary cars trophy. Really wish there was an up to date tl;dr for GT7, started in March knowing 0 and found out too much after time wasting the hard way.

And I don't think we need any added weather features either, I think we have enough options for those. Unless someone can prove me wrong.

Polyphony Digital's response to The Crew Motorfest's "Donk vs Lowrider" update...
While most modern racing game tyres feature this kind of placeholder text on the sidewall, GT7's text is probably the most unique tyre size out there.

Yes, of course I understand that.
I was a little surprised that GT7 used such a weird number instead of something realistic, since all the other games I know of use realistic numbers as placeholders, like the stock size of a typical sedan.

I’m happy for you all. I’ll miss the initial “Servers up!” due to watching Deadpool & Wolverine at 18:30 Aussie time. Just one request: If someone can post pics of the E36 aero options. Please. Hoping for a 318i front bumper. Much appreciated. cries and fades to black

Oh, good movie session to you! :)

Hey @dimassa19 are you excited about the return of Eiger Nordwand? I remember reading one of your posts here where you could name all of the mountain ranges surrounding Eiger, so that must be a dream come true for you to see it in GT7.

I'm still not believing it... lol

And yeah, my favorite place in the world. The region inspired Tolkien to create the Elf village for the Lord Of The Rings... ;)
