Those events payout 550k, 550k and like 484K, probably take 25 to 30mins, have a clean race bonus and are arguably more engaging than Blue Moon Bay, Daytona or Fisherman's Ranch. This makes them the some of the best credit per hour races available.

I assume the joke part is that they only added a paltry three races to World Circuit.

Custom races are still junk. I would really like to be able to race on my terms and expect a reasonable return for my efforts.

There are only three new events. Three! The general shortage of World Circuits events is a big part of what makes the game feel grindy, and this is all they could come up with in a month? Laughable.

Yeah, the improvement to custom races was barely anything. It's a little bit under a 50% improvement, I think? It needed to be 10x-20x more.

I may be an ass for making assumptions but it is my understanding this update was their reaction to fan outrage. Many talk about the future updates and support the game will receive over its lifetime, I don't think this update was intended to be an early implementation of that.

This is more like their band aid solution. It's not ideal, but it's not a joke either, at least I don't think so.

Raking in some nice spoils for the circuit experiences I've done so far. Went from 2.2m to 7.2m and I've only did about 10 so far.

EDIT: Make that 8.4 million now. Just collected on all golds for Spa, 1.2 million. Sweet.

I should have completed them earlier! Only gold the first 5 and that Expert Drift Mission because was worried the update doesn't reward early birds!

It’s most likely a reference to the collection of books with the same title. The Human Comedy is a large collection of litterature that brings up themes of capitalism and socialism. So it might be some form of self-reflection on PD’s part.

50% of nothing is still nothing sadly. 5 laps in a Ferrari at Barcelona is 90k now in the event. Run the same race in custom race and it pays 17.8k. It's like saying 1+1=8.

Lack of events was a large part of the outrage. How much time can it take one person to add one race event? 10 minutes? I'd have expected way more than three.

Not to mention we already know they have more events sitting on the server that Jimmy Fallon saw, they still don't want to grace us with them though.
