For those interested, this is a Merak (top), a Merak SS (middle), and a Merak 2000GT (bottom); I've circled in blue the major external physical difference between the three:

Yep, the base Merak has a no grille between the headlights, while the SS and the low-output, 2.0 V6 version weirdly do. The 2000GT is distinguishable by the black styling line and lack of (although optional) front air dam.

Here's the tweaked silhouette:

Now, I'm not saying it's not there, just that I can't see it if it is...
Seems like the wiper blade arms are in the wrong spot. Mirror image reversed.

15 ppl working on GT7 currently. Let that sink in.
the real mvp on that team is the one man doing all the bug fixing, here's a sneak peek.

Something I really want to return is host migration in lobbies. It feels like such a waste of time when I spend a while looking for a good room to join only for the host to leave as soon as I get there. Are their servers so unstable that it has taken 7 months to figure out or is it yet another confusing omission of something that worked well in previous GTs?

I strongly suspect it's something cross-platform-related.

I don't want to take away from rapid content drops, because of course it is good.... but I really am hoping for an update to some of the fundamentals i.e FoV/dash view and lobby system. Even a nod to say "we're working on it"!

As a boy of your age, def not! Ask mom first!

If I still had the source, it would've been included in the first post. And I didnt state it was a rock solid info. It was somewhere on the internet. But looking at the game and what has been "achieved" with it, it makes sense to me.
So it is just an unfounded and unsubstantiated opinion stated as solid gold :odd:

But, but, but it was on the Innertubes, so it MUST be troo.

If there really are only 15 people working on GT7, what are the rest of PD's employees working on?

Taking their holiday leave of the last 10 years and after that back to work for Gran Turismo 2026* (delivery between 2027 and 2029). :-)

How hard is it to bring various events to the tracks that don't have them? Maybe if they started towards adding every type of event possible to every track it would keep people playing. You could even do the 600, 700, and 800 PP events on rally tracks with rally cars, sadly, though, no hypercars at Windmills or Fisherman's Ranch.
Let's not forget about the one hour endurance option also. We've already got nine of them (Human Comedy + Spa 800), why not more? Why not add in a two hour option? That's what the original endurance races in Gran Turismo were. Oraybr add in a flat 100 laps or a flat 500 miles or a flat 1,000km.

I thought that too, but like Famine said, if it was the RF you'd be able to see the sloping roof from the back. Which leads me to believe it's either the 2.0 model or an NR-A/Cup version.
Yeah I was hesitating as well but I thought maybe they just blacked that part out so make it less obvious what the car is.

Aah well, much if not all of that leaked list has been correct so im sure the NF will come around eventually. I sure don’t mind having it even though we already have the ND. There is a new more powerful engine already as well since the ND launched so for me both the RF roof and new engine warrants a new car. It sure us better than the 8 or 10 exact copy/paste Extreme-E cars we got in FH5 :banghead: (apart from the name and livery)

The best news about this update, is that we are getting more than the usual 3 cars. Unfortunately, that fourth car, is pretty much a duplicate variant of an existing model, so this update effectively has just 3 cars.

The cars themselves aren't terrible, although sure, the GT3 GT-R is kinda underwhelming seeing that is an update over the other GT3 GT-R we already have. But could be worse. The Miata is meh, pretty much pointless, would rather have an early 2000s Miata. The Merak and Skyline are cool, but be ready for that Skyline to possibly cost 500k. Modern cars are still a second thought for PD apparently.

Considering accusations of mass MTX's, I speculate that the bulk of PD employees are staffed in Accounts Receivable.

As has been said before, they abandoned GT7 already. The cars they are releasing now was supposed to be season dlc for 15 bucks. Instead, they just release it in small slices and that will be it. No real patches, no further development of the game. Somewhere else I read that PD has 15 ppl working on GT7 currently. Let that sink in.
And you got proof for that?

My guess is Jim Ryan is responsible for manipulating Polyphony Digital to add high prices of MTX.
