Gonna tame my expectations on this one. I've been sadly getting burnt out on repeating the same 1-2 events due to the payout being significantly better than other events in the same range of difficulty.
Yes, I've resorted to seeing how many different cars I can win with at Sardegna ... More than a dozen, at least

The Tokyo race is not that difficult.

It makes no sense to nerf PP in that race, though. It's a WTC 600. Six hundred. I can enter with a 550PP car if I want, but it's gonna be gimped.

To nerf the Tomahawk without fixing the PP system they need to add a power restriction, in fact would be very effective as cars in the 400 bhp range are very competitive.

I'm all for more events to use the lower cars, though. 550PP has a few, but none that pay as much as the new endurance events, except for the Mission Challenge race, which is a one-time payout.
Or add a minimum pp for every car, so the holes/quirks of the pp calculation formula don't allow such exploits

That wasn't promised for April.
I think, or rather, I hope, lots of these "promised" features are because PD wants to add them as part of something greater.

I've been wondering whether they're interested in adding an in-game marketplace like other franchises have. The long endurance races, I'm 99% sure they're being saved for when they add Sophy and B-Spec to the game.

Considering how slow the updates have been so far, though, I wouldn't hold my breath. The first monthly update didn't really add anything, it was response to backlash. Services need constant updates to keep interest high and the current pace is nowhere nearly fast enough.

I will be shocked if PD instead of actually fixing the PP adjustments, decides to nerf the payouts or the PP requirements.

If such a thing happens, this might be one of the dumbest and most incompetent moves I've ever seen from a game developer.

And while the "selling car" feature wasn't promised for this month, I wonder what in the hell is it so hard that it takes over 2 months (or more) to actually implement a feature that basically consists on you having a "Sell Car" option on a menu.
Or is all this time about "adjusting" by how much we can sell the cars? It can't be that hard... previous GTs allowed you to sell it for about 1/4th of the car's value.

To PD, expecting good graces for you with this update? 💩

Yeah, we've worked hard on a car, installing a bunch of parts that can't be removed? And we still get 1/4 value of the car? What ******** is that? Why defending the car selling in previous GTs?

Why would you sell a car that you actually use? I want to sell the cars that I have double or the fictious race and rally cars that I'm never going to use... If I only get 1/4 so be it, now they are worth nothing to me.

This is what is likely to happen. I think they the problem is deeply rooted in the PP system and there's no hot fix.

Fairly sad. The cars I want but still don't have are worth 110 mill. This is 30 more hours of grinding.

There are several tracks in the game that have alternate layouts in the game but cannot use them. They been that way since GT6 and never understood why we can use them. Daytona road course, Tsukuba, Streets of Willow Springs are a few that come to mind. If they are already scanned and you can see them in the game. Why can't you use them?. I would also like to see all the tracks have a reverse and dirt option. Why not? Would live to have the Monza Oval too.

They may not be scanned. Bugatti layout of La Sarthe is great, to add another example.

As much as I'd wish to have that in game, currently the conditions of the tarmac there are... well, far from being good for laser scanning. And the banking would also kill you for how huge it is.

question for everyone, but is it true that are missing menus? I ask this because the article says "missing menus"

In the GT7 State of Play there was a "Menu Book: VGC" so most likely yes.
Thanks for the reply. but do you think these menus will be added? however, I do not know in my opinion, they will not be added because then there are the credits. according to you all percentage that add them in this update or in the other?

I mean, I suppose so? No reason for PD to not add them, at least from my point of view, especially for how short the cafe is. Now, I may be wrong, but that's my reasoning.

I agree with you, my opinion is that if they have to be added, it had to be written in the notes for future updates.
