Not sure where the 20 PS4s just to run it came from but Kaz specifically said a PS5 has enough power to run the Sophy model locally:

Maybe the confusion comes from them using exponentially more powerful hardware to train it. It's no different than what for example Apple does for many features in iOS, where you train the AI on much more powerul machines, but the actual model runs locally on iPhones.

Google search engine is the best example for this, they use deep learning yet are able to use the models in low budget smartphones with ****** processors

Yup. I've deleted GT7 and will not reinstall until this added. Hopefully, they will have fixed most of the other issues by then as well. And if they don't, there are plenty of other games to occupy me until my PS4 dies.

Why? A car performs differently if it’s on racing hards vs racing softs so the PP should change for that

Tires should just be set for the event and then not included in PP. They're a consumable item that you often times change during a race. It would be like incorporating fuel load into PP. I'd rather just tune a car however I want and then just change into whatever tires are required for the event.

WTC 900 events would be nice. I bought a 787B from Legendary and it’s gathering dust in terms of racing it at full power. I’m pretty sure they’re planning some Group 1 content at some point. The sooner the better.

I’m wondering if PD is aware they are on extremely shaky ground regarding content of the new update .They have managed to steady the ship , but it seems like to me if PD makes one more public relations mistake GT7 is sunk for good !

I haven't visited gtplanet for some time now. After getting fed up of Sport and a long hiatus of waiting for the new game. I re logged into my account now I have a PS5 and GT7.

And I am here just to mention excitement for the new physics engine and mention my hopes we get the Toyota GT One LM. I loved tuning that to stupid high top speeds so long ago which weren't possible with other cars.

I still hope for popular cars of the older eras, Fords, Vauxhalls, Peugeot, Renault, Fiat, Citroen hot hatches from the 70's through to 90's.

Of course there are so many newer 00's sports or hypercars which have never been in a Gran Turismo game before.

It will be interesting to see what they come out with. I truly can't wait. As there are already some cars which have made a comeback which haven't been in the game for a long time.

787B isn't a touring car. They need to use a little imagination and create events actually suited for the cars in the game.

Just take the screenshot. They got auto uploaded to the cloud. Have the PlayStation App on your phone go into captures on the app and download it to your phone.

I know four people that play GT7 casually, and they aren’t even aware that the game has had a controversial launch. They just appreciate it for what it is as Sony’s flagship racing title. Only the GT fanbase is aware and annoyed by PD’s recent PR mistakes, so it’s far from the majority of players whom are upset. I agree that the next content update needs to fire on all cylinders, but it’s only the minority of players (the fans) who will flip the table if it doesn’t.

It's currently number 2 in the UK sales charts. The general public either doesn't know, or care about the issues people here, reddit or metacritic are complaining about. As more PS5's become available, it seems to be a game a lot of people are picking up at the same time according to that article.

But PD isn't on "shaky ground", the game is already a commercial success.

... I haven't been messing with Scapes or anything like that because I really don't care about it.

But are you serious??? You can't export photos (and I assume replays?) to one of your USB drives???

Hopefully we get some new Gr.2 cars to fill out the class including:

Nissan R390 GT1 97 or 98
Panoz GTR-1 Esperante '98
Porsche 911 GT1-98
Toyota GT-ONE TS020 '98

And ofc the CLK-GTR race or strassenversion

Along with some Gr.2 and Gr.1 races that aren't in the challenges section as you only get the rewards once from those. We also need a PP900 Championship aswell as anything that's higher than 800PP is useless unless you do custom races or downgrade them.
