That will ban a HUGE amount of players. They didn't ban people who exploited the Tomahack glitch, why would they ban people for finding their coding mistakes?Does anyone think that Sony or Polyphony will implement a ban for those who exploited the ticket glitch?
GT7 is a much more polished game but FFB in comparison to ACC really needs work. GT Sport had better FFB.This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7’s Next Update Arrives July 6
A new game update will be available for Gran Turismo 7 this week, according to an in-game announcement and post on the official website...
UTC - Co-ordinated Universal Time - is the same time zone as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and has replaced it as the world standard. For complicated physics reasons. For us, simpletons from Europe, can someone translate the timezone differnece? Basically, will the patch come tonight or tomorrow?
Thank you! That is more info than I expected but very useful neverthelessUTC - Co-ordinated Universal Time - is the same time zone as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and has replaced it as the world standard. For complicated physics reasons.
Europe mostly operates on UTC, UTC+1, and UTC+2 in the winter, and UTC+1, UTC+2, and UTC+3 in the summer.
As your profile indicates you're in the UK, you will be in the UTC time zone from October to March and the UTC+1 time zone from March to October. Right now, as it's July, you're in UTC+1, so add one hour to UTC to get your local time.
They shouldn't ban you for using code that is broken. Anyway I hope to get on tonight and get some more engines before it is fixedI will rip the bones out of the glitch tonight then....
(Anyone knows if they could ban us for exploiting this glitch? a bit late to be asking though, lol)
they run the maintenance and updates at the same time every time, so once you've figured it out you'll knowI've learned so much about time zones from GT updates.
EDT is not used commonly in NA because it's all Standard to us and we use EST all year. So who is this for?
I wish they'd just pick one. Tokyo, GMT, UTC.... and let individuals figure it out. There's phone apps, Google, etc... one click away.
I think people got a Ferrari invite early on and I had to rush to buy the 3 cars, which stripped me of the chance of buying the F50.So, I was going to stop at 250 four star tickets. I had my rant already planned for posting on here. But then on the 249th ticket I FINALLY got the Ferrari invite.
Really, though, it makes little difference to my rant. It's simply absurd that it's so hard to obtain the ability to purchase those 3 cars, WHICH YOU STILL NEED A LOT OF CREDITS FOR.
I have no problem with cosmetic items in games being made super exclusive and hard to obtain. Functional items should not be this hard to obtain. Without the glitch it could have taken me 2-3 years of playing the game every single day to obtain that Ferrari invite. That is just utterly ridiculous.
Can't tell for sure but imo they are borderline zero. How large are the odds they will "overlook" the roulette glitch, like they did the Pp glitch with the Tomahawk when the update arrived?
The PP glitch was a lot more difficult to fix and it remains broken to this day, all they did was remove gearing from PP calculations. Sadly, I see no such issues with this glitch so it'll be an easy fix.How large are the odds they will "overlook" the roulette glitch, like they did the Pp glitch with the Tomahawk when the update arrived?
lol bruh, what?the motor swaps are going to be patched. This game is utter disappointment to all its players and community it has failed us. If you thought about buying a wheel don’t it’s a waste of money due to excessive cheating and exploits. they made it so controllers are better than any will user and if you thought clutch would help you you’re extremely wrong you have a ultimate disadvantage if you’re on a wheel your handling goes down and your acceleration goes down but if you’re on controller regardless of what transmission you use or how you drive you had an advantage
Well I've won over 120 million credits so far and there's no chance in hell I'd ever grind even a quarter of that amount without blowing my brains outI don't see that it has any connection to grinding races. The credit payout from the glitch is worse than what you get for just driving normal races (unless I've been incredibly unlucky, but I'd say I've got less than half the credits I'd have got if I'd just spent the time doing races instead, which would also have been far more enjoyable). The main benefit of it has been obtaining car parts, engine swaps and invites that you can otherwise only get one chance per day at, there's no way to grind for those as far as I'm aware, beyond earning your daily workout ticket every day.
People supporting the system and claiming "people just need to play" are really missing the point behind the complaints against GT7's structure and economy. I've got about 75m Cr now, the most I've had in any GT game ever, I probably wouldn't earn this much in my entire ownership of GT7 if it were not for this glitch, yet I still can't afford the 250 GTO, S.Baker and McLaren F1 combined. And there are other super expensive cars I'll still likely never afford after this glitch is patched out.Let me, again, point out how ridiculous the ticket system is.
We have already verified that the total car parts, the special ones where you can't get anywhere else but from these tickets, is about 205.
We have also verified that the only tickets that give out Special Car Parts are the 4* and 5* or the very rare dedicated 6* (parts) ticket.
I'm going to do some simple math here:
I've gotten, over all the days we've had the glitch, exactly 5923 engines (and counting until they patch this) and this basically translates into also the number of 4* tickets I've opened up. Yes, we also win engines from 4* tickets but they are such a rarity that it makes it irrelevant, and I also personally opened about 50 4* tickets manually before finding the script anyway so it all evens out regardless.
Out of all these 4* tickets, I've gotten 121 of the 205 Unique Special Car Parts (I'm not counting duplicates here)
The ridiculous part of all of this? Is that this is a glitch, and you can only earn one of these tickets per day without it. So basically, I've opened up, literally, 16 YEARS worth of tickets (5923/365 = 16.2), and I'm barely over half of the total special car parts.
Imagine you don't care about most of the special car parts (since some cars most people don't care about) but want to have your GT-R Nismo fully tuned with those parts.
I still am yet to get the Titanium ConRods and Pistons for the GT-R Nismo.
The odds of getting said part? Simple... 1 in 205 parts. For getting a special car part in the 4* ticket is 10%, so 1 in 10. And 4* or 5* tickets you get them (with collector level 50) on average (post 1.17) one every 2 days on average, 1 in 2.
And you get a 0.02% odd of getting a specific car part you want, or, 1 in 4100 tickets or... 11 years.
Yeah, I've surpassed this number, but that's the whole point. This is RNG... If you get unlucky, you will end up never getting the part and instead get duplicates of others that you don't want, which is what is happening to me and a ton of others.
Or, you can get 3x 1 million prizes in a row like I did... Yeah, this is a 1 in 1 million chance. lol Super lucky here, but I'm more interested in parts than credits.
Credits have reached a point where I had to buy duplicates of every single invitational car in a different color to avoid reaching the 100 million cap several times now.
This. sistem. has. to. go.
I agree with everything you wrote and as an example of this snip I've taken from your post, here is someone I knows unfortunate hall from one car. There are three known parts for the DeLorean and he's received not one of the third part, one single set of rods & pistons and thirteen Stroke Ups... That's just crazy! If you get unlucky, you will end up never getting the part and instead get duplicates of others that you don't want, which is what is happening to me and a ton of others.
Okay, yes, if you're scripting it. I haven't done that, and I suspect only a very small percentage of the player base has. If you're doing it manually, it's worse for credits than spending the time driving.
Sucks eh, got one a few days ago and bought the Enzo and FXX-K , all bought now, hope yours comes along soon.200 four star tickets for me now without a Ferrari invite. I hope what they're actually going to fix is to make it more possible to obtain stuff with normal gameplay. It needs to be made much much much easier to obtain these random items.
