I love that escudo is coming back i doubt it will be in gr,b too powerful, i rather it be in no catogory, the escudo is the only car i care for in this update, its pretty weak with just 3 cars again, i hope it means a bigger car drop is coming later, i was thinking on maybe take a break to wait for more content, but i am not going lie the escudo will be exciting to try

This is a joke.

Lobbies? Penalties? Sports UI? Selling cars?

Hell no, lets throw some more cars in.

Changes are never mention before an update arrives just the cars are teased,

Oh wow. More useless cars. Yawn. Maybe we will get some more of Kaz’s fruity music rally. What an odd little man he is. Hopefully they eliminate the world map/music rally screen. Even better would be to fire crazy Kaz. He was good making games 20 years ago, but he hasn’t evolved.

Was hoping for some Gr.2 cars but i'm very surprised the Escudo is returning, I wasn't even sure the car still existed. Will definitely be using that car pretty often.

Lets hope PD keep up with bringing series staples with the R390 in the next update.
I honestly think the Suzuki Escudo, Castrol Supra and the Toyota GT-One are the most iconic Gran Turismo cars and 2 of them are already in, so the GT-One should be next on the list.

But also the Nissan R390 and, since they have the Porsche partnership, the Porsche GT1 '98 they could never add in older games to bolster up that Gr. 2.

Gonna be hard to balance the Escudo as Gr.B.

PD will probably just add it as an uncategorized #racecar.
There is a Pikes Peak classification for GT7. Currently only the Quattro S2 Pikes Peak is listed. The 205 T16 E2 is classified as WRC.

The leaked list is also looking credible. In it they have all of these cars. Including the ‘32 Ford. Which is completely random. They also list the regular Group B Quattro S2. Which again points to WRC & Pikes Peak cars being separate.

Who knows if this is all leading to Pikes Peak being added. I’ve mentioned before I don’t think such a course would be in a regular monthly update. Given they have real world circuits ready to go. And one is needed to fill the TBA Toyota Cup spot in August.

You're correct the GT-ONE is more iconic than the R390, both are very cool cars that I would love to see in GT7 but i'm still stoked to see the Escudo return.

I remember people kept saying that for last month's update. How did that turn out? I think it's normal for people to be frustrated/disappointing considering there's already a pattern.
Are we going to be able to sell cars soon
Each regular monthly update has had a long list of updates & bug fixes. There’s no excuse not to have the selling cars fix ready by now.

when i see people ask, 'how can anyone criticize the update when we don't know whats in it?', its important to remember we're three months from the game's director saying "We will in time let you know the update plans for additional content, additional race events and additional features".

i hardly doubt anyone is actually angry that there are three more cars. the problem for most people, i suspect, is that the developer acts in a way that would be wholly unacceptable in any other job/life circumstance. promising to be a better communicator and then going back to never communicating is a failure. its good to hold people to the standards they set for themselves.

I think the hype and novelty for an Escudo is going to wear off very fast.
Exactly what I was going to post. Mainly about complaints how it handles at Sardegna.

It’s like the JGTC Supra and Skyline. Those are iconic cars and people complain how slow they are. As if they’re not making players enough money.

We’ll see though. If Pike’s Peak isn’t in the update, this car will be down the list In people’s garages.

Yeah, it's an iconic car in the series (for some reason), but what are we supposed to do with it? It really isn't designed for tarmac and on gravel it has no real rivals. Besides, most of us aren't exactly fans of rallying in GT, and probably neither are Polyphony seeing as the series has had the same 3 rally courses for the past 7 years.

While this does make the list of supposed leaked cars from the game look very much legit and that list contained plenty of good cars, what are we supposed to do with all of these we've gotten so far? One car was just a rebadge of a model already in, two were recent racing models that appear alone without any other cars from their series, two have been fake cars which have long outstayed their welcome (for God's sake Kaz just end Vision GT already, it's been 9 freaking years and 3 games!!!) and one is a very random 1930's hot rod.

I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, but the game has a lot of problems beyond the car list that need urgently fixing like the lobbies for example. New cars are nice, but why is there absolutely no pattern or theme to these updates and why isn't there any in-game content in new races to support these car additions?

There all nice cars, but what goes point of a tine attack car, Perth out something to time attack, Maybe pikes peak is coming aswell, but if it isn't its another car, with nothing to each it against.

Still no 488, 720, Vantage V8, PD has its Japanese blinkers on again.

Lobbies are awful, The discord I'm on is full of hard-core GT fans who are had enough of poor lobbies, bad, BOP, poor car groupings, stability issues.

Only 1 league Running the 3 cancelled until the game becomes stable, or others some options to make the game interesting.
Well said 👍

I've put a combined 5000km on those two cars alone already, so they can't really be too bad
I’ve added good Kays on both of mine and use them for Custom Races, but not a word about these cars from people that were vocal about wanting them in the game.
Remember the E30 M3? As soon as we got it, the car got bagged straightaway for being slow, skittish and complained about its icon status.
The Escudo is on Page six of Suggested cars. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/board/cars.339/page-5?order=first_post_reaction_score&direction=desc
Less votes than the Cultus. It’s all entertainment. Can’t wait to read the posts. ;)
