I'm kind of glad I I'm not looking at the Escudo through rose tinted glasses.

It will not be as dominant as it used to, many cars in the game are now faster than it.
It will cost an insane amount of money.
The PP level will probably be too much for it to be usable in any race.

Don't get your hopes up, PD won't deliver
It won't cost that much. Le Mans winners aren't more than 2-3 million so I expect this to be cheaper.

People were so sure that PD would increase the car packs to match GTS, I kept saying they won't because GT7 already has 420 cars, not 140, they don't need to add that many.

Sadly I've seemingly been proven right. They're probably holding everything else back for GT8, or quite simply have ramped down production for a while.

Sure, in time.

But a regular circuit is also needed for the Toyota Cup in August. That would need to arrive in the June or July update.
So that can come in July then. I don't know why you're so sure PP won't come this month. The real event takes place this week. They've had five years, it should be ready.

I am pretty sure we get a new track or a new track layout at the very least in this upcoming update. No race details whatsoever on Nations Cup round 6 & TGR GT Cup round 8 👀

Also hyped for Escudo Pikes Peak. Pretty sure it costs 3M max.

Oh wow. More useless cars. Yawn. Maybe we will get some more of Kaz’s fruity music rally. What an odd little man he is. Hopefully they eliminate the world map/music rally screen. Even better would be to fire crazy Kaz. He was good making games 20 years ago, but he hasn’t evolved.
Useless cars? In case of Suzuki Escudo it was the world beater back in GT2 and a time machine in GT3.
You felt like god trolling around poor AI in their LM cars and won prized Purple TVR Cerbera Speed 12 over and over again it was hilarious.
Obviously it won't be that OP anymore but definitely far from being useless.

If they're going to continue this three car a month thing, they NEED to add some kind of logical structure to their addition.

For example -- they could have added Pikes Peak (the track), the '96 Escudo and the '96 Toyota Celica Pikes Peak also. Then, add a time trial event to Sports mode for this month, based on Pikes Peak Hillclimb '96. Everyone would be happy.

There are so many opportunities off this theme. It would help add content in a meaningful way and would also inject life into Sport mode.

There is also the Telsa Pikes Peak car that they said was coming pre-release. Maybe it's just not ready though.

The leaked list has around 80 cars on it. Those doing the datamining say other cars are being added as time goes by.

None of that means all of them will come to GT7. At the current rate of three cars per month it’s around 2.5-3 years of monthly DLC.

Pikes Peak may well come this month. Everything lines up so well. Even Kaz tweeting out silhouettes a week earlier than expected coincides with the 100th Anniversary.

Pikes Peak would be such a huge piece of DLC content. The course is 12.42 mi (20km) long. That said, I could see PD splitting it up into sections.

I have no issues with it being always online. There are things much higher priority in GT7 that need fixing
He's been told multiple times that no matter whether we like it or not, PD are not going to change the online requirement, it's a fundamental part of the game structure that would require a huge rebuilding to change. Large parts of the game are simply not present on your disc, it's all server side.

But still he persists posting his petition.

They've added bigger. Sierra was 27KM.

And yes, they'll surely introduce it in sectors like Circuit Experience. In fact IIRC, Sierra time rally also did that.
Possibly only in scapes :D
With PD you never know but damn, what an absolute slap in the face that would be. I'm actually pretty hopeful for once, since it all lines up.

What irks me is PD could give us like 50 cars overnight if they'd just fix how absolute **** MR cars are in this game... especially with BoP. If I had a nickel for every time I saw an MR car in a Sport mode race, I'd have a quarter.

Ferrari, Lambo, Audi, Ford GTs, Honda NSX, etc... they're all worthless. At this point, I don't much care about new cars, I want the original ones to work.

... and another 50 if they fix the FWD road cars, with a useable throttle lift-off and FFB at front wheel slippage and torque difference.

The list also includes the 208 T16 which was the previous Pikes Peak record holder. What’s interesting to note is this car competed on the all tarmac course. It’s never actually competed on dirt. Also showed up at the Goodwood Hillclimb and a few other events in Europe.
Few are the people who probably remember that interview:

Yes, of course, tell those who couldn't play it for more than 30 hours because of that update, or you'll even tell me the same thing the day the servers close forever and it's unplayable being just a paperweight

Unless we get a Pike's Peak Hill climb or some sort of circuit and events that payout more than 1.5million an hour, i'm not interested in the slightest in the Pikes Peak car.

It's a total missed opportunity if there isn't a Pikes Peak Hill Climb added before next Sunday.

But the escudo will pretty much be faster in terms of acceleration than most of gr,1 cars, so my guess is it will still be very quick
