Again, the issue is that you take the silhouette teaser as evidence for that. It’s like predicting rain tomorrow by checking the patterns at the bottom of your coffee cup. Sure, it might rain tomorrow, but it has absolutely nothing to do with whatever is at the bottom of your coffee cup.
Right. Patch notes are here. FINALLY we have a horn! The biggest issue has been solved.
So online lobbies have been adressed. What will people be whining about now ?
They added 1 feature. Nothing about the bugs or lobby settings to saved for future sessions. But yea, its all just whining really. I mean, we have a horn now, what could people possibly need beyond that?

Wait wait wait.....you can change event settings in multiplayer now? I've been waiting for this! Does that include everything - track, laps, regulations?

I want to play, but I'm heading to work and then going to see the new Top Gun after, so it'll be at least tomorrow evening before I can sit down and play
This is literally what me and my GT mates have all been waiting for too... maybe we will all play again for the first time in 3 months

The Glen is a good addition, but there are many, many circuits already in the game with very, very few events - Monza, Bathurst, Interlagos to name just three much more famous than WG. More events really need to be added soon or adding more tracks just looks stupid.

Glad for all the lobby people.

Finally got an engine from the ticket, C7, so not one of the ones I’d really wanted to try, but it’s a start.

Nitro for the AMG Black from the 4-star. Fantasy Group B NSX - meh...

No selling, so overall the update gets a thumbs down from me.

Dang, I had hoped to at least see a lobby result screen arrive as well, but I'm more than happy with the ability to change settings and reset lobbies.

Dissapointing the new WG events are so low pay you'll never touch them again after finishing them once.
It takes too much effort to adjust payouts of the events to the level of Tokyo, Le Mans, Spa and Sardegna /s. It would be really nice if all tracks had decent payouts but it isn't Polyphony Digital way. They prefer when players are grinding same event over and over again.

I guess custom races payout also didn't change but I didn't check it before uninstalling so no clue.

I didn't played the update yet but in the official site of GT in collection of liveries you can't explore but the first page of it. It's shame that the haven't done yet with hyperlinks. :banghead:
One suggestion for the site is that would be nice to have by car option in Collection.

Nice update and nice to see an iconic car come back to GT, I remember that one from gt3 and gt4. I think you can do wheelies with it depending on how fast you go.

lack of qualifying
But you can now at least reset the lobby and then do the qualifying in the training session. Actually most series I raced with do it like that as it doesn't punish people who might miss out on qualifying for whatever reason.

ohhh just worked out how the time trial rewards work… only based on delta to world record at the end of the time, I had assumed it was like circuit experience and I’d get a reward for beating the gold time 😜

Yeah it's good that everything is structured and organized and we have more ways to tune/customize our cars/trucks, etc.

When do they reset?

And can you have a full day cycle in Glen?

Check the undocumented changes and you’ll see we can finally lock sorted cars. Select favourites and those are the only cars visible in your garage.

It’s got Early Dawn through Night options and we can do 30X in Custom Race.

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.17 Now Available, Adds Watkins Glen, Escudo Pikes Peak, New Menus & More

The latest update for Gran Turismo 7 is now available, bringing new content, new single-player activities, and a raft of other fixes and changes...

So now when doing liveries we have to type in the search field each time. It no longer saves the search “term” that was used before placing the decal. Kind of a pain if using custom livery items.

Oh and we can no longer change the color of calipers. It lets you select but does not change the actual color. 🫤
