Do you think it's worth having a "GT7 Time Trial Discussion" thread? I'm wondering if it'll be open to more discussion now that there's a more competitive element added to it.

3 new races after a month of waiting is just pathetic, quite frankly. Especially, when that’s even less than what we got in the previous update, which already wasn’t very much.

And it's 3 short races to boot. 20 minutes of content after a whole month.

Ok, if chase view people got 360 rotation then we might as well start whining about the cockpit one. Or am I literally the only one who finds the way it currently is ming boggling, annoying, and totally unnecessary? Just let me view the whole god damn interior.

Yup, especially when there's a dedicated "look back" button that can be mapped. Makes no sense, does it?

It was actually in GT Sport beta but got removed, I imagine for some technical reason.

I remember hearing that Kaz didn't like it because he thought it was cheating. Anyway it's not snappy enough for me in it's current state, so I doubt I'll use it much.

That seems like a "good" bug given that if you touch the search text box you lose the previous search term.

well now you lose your search filter by just selecting a decal, so not sure about it being a good bug.

It's 10 laps but the Glen isn't exactly a long track.

The update appears to be good overall, but the single player side needs a huge buff still.

Yes... agreed it's a good update overall, obviously great to have a new track, like the Sport improvements and at least a few lobby issues fixed. I can't help but remain frustrated with the number of world circuit events though, this is my #1 frustration right now. All well and good getting new tracks and cars, but there's nothing to do with them. Only 3-4 events are worth doing for credits, and some great circuits like Interlagos only have a single event available?? I really don't understand why this hasn't been rectified, as it seems much easier from a dev POV than adding new cars/circuits.

Yes the required times for gold, silver & bronze will change after a better #1 time is posted.

C'mon people......

The 2 Hagerty cars are not available because the update came out after the LCD updated for the day. They will be available when it updates again.

The same happened with the Cappuccino addition in the Used Cars in 1.13

The new menu books were a great challenge. I managed to finish mine in about 90 seconds, PS4 loading times included.

On a serious note, I've never been familiar with Watkins Glen so it was really fun to experience that track for the first time. I can see why people love it so much and I think I now do too.

Looks like a reasonably good update - a properly new track is certainly a nice addition, as are some of the player improvements, especially with online.

An all engine roulette wheel is a great development of that system too, hopefully we will see more of these in future.

A couple of things are beginning to frustrate me a little though:

- Selling cars is yet to be implemented
- How hard would it have been to add 3 races for each of the new menu books as well, it appears a somewhat half arsed effort to not have them?

That's alright I guess. The Escudo drives nicely but I can't hit the gold time in the Time Trial. Doesn't help that I hate Alsace lol

I was like YES! We can use the time trail to test out the escudo today and then saw it was alsace, currently 1 second of silver but I hate his track so I think that's me done for this time trail. Awful track in my opinion

These events are SO freaking boring. Why why WHY are they insistent on keeping this format? Fewer people would be complaining about grinding if the events were actually fun to do.

And yet another track with no rain option in a location where it very normally rains.

Happy about all the improvements but I just don’t understand how hard it could possibly be to add more books to the menu? I mean, come on! You come up with a great gameplay system and now you won’t use it? Honestly, this is so frustrating. How much work is to compile a few events, and attach a prize to them? I feel like 3 person department can handle this including writing a copy for all these talking heads, that appear pre-race… but I’m sure no one read those anyway. Now we wait another month for a 3 new menu book? If we lucky of course.

So these 3 new extra menus took me about 2 minutes to complete. Got a 4 star ticket that gave me the usual 10k, the NSX Gr.B that I already have and have 0 use for and a 6 star that gave me an engine, the Supra RZ engine, which at least was a good prize considering how hard it is to get engines in this game.

3 new events at Glen... ez AF and done and dusted. Plus no reason to do them again as their payouts are worthless.

Escudo and the Ford Roadster, will have to wait for them to appear at Hagerty to buy them.

The times don't change in Circuit Experience. That refers to the Online Time Trial.
