The track could be changed aswell ?Yes, but host is still fixed, settings still can't be saved and there still is no way to see the results of the previous race after leaving it.

I don't mind just having car collection tasks without associated races, but the races they have added are very vanilla indeed. Would like more of the brand/style specific stuff.I don't understand why they have no added race events for the new menu books, what is the sense to collect cars wuthout specific events to race them ? Vero poor design choice
its in the headline...The Headliner is easily the suzuki escudo wtf
Still on the Moon in GT6 I reckon, they must've forgotten it thereWhere did the imagination go?
It's definitely not all we'll ever get, but I also don't expect much more variety in the future. The few remaining "car type" restrictions that are unused will probably be the end of variety. Also, they have a pretty wide range of cars in the game now and all they can still come up with for events is PP restrictions. What happened to all the specialised events to make use of all these cars? US Muscle cars would have been the obvious choice for the Glen.
Still they just lazily persist with "WTC" events that aren't even for touring cars, meaning all the events are broadly the same.
Where did the imagination go? Is this all we are going to get now? [Generic Event Name][PP]?
No rain.Does Watkins Glen have weather or not?
NotDoes Watkins Glen have weather or not?
I think it might be more, how well the programmed their website rain/weather model that it can’t simply be comped and pasted between tracks. They way the dry line forms how the puddles fill in specific paces on the track. I imaged it would need to be done for each track individually to have it as accurate the way that want. You wouldn’t be able to just copy the model from track to track.I don't get why PD have always had this issue of rain having to be specially added to individual circuits. Every other race game with weather just universally has it available on every track, no problem.
How badly have PD programmed theirs that it can't easily just be enabled on any track?
My biggest problem so far (like many others here) is that the content they usually add with each update can be completed within a single sitting. In my opinion they should add 10-15 races with each update.Yes... agreed it's a good update overall, obviously great to have a new track, like the Sport improvements and at least a few lobby issues fixed. I can't help but remain frustrated with the number of world circuit events though, this is my #1 frustration right now. All well and good getting new tracks and cars, but there's nothing to do with them. Only 3-4 events are worth doing for credits, and some great circuits like Interlagos only have a single event available?? I really don't understand why this hasn't been rectified, as it seems much easier from a dev POV than adding new cars/circuits.
Project CARS 2 did the same thing in 2017 with LiveTrack. Worked on every track.I think it might be more, how well the programmed their website rain/weather model that it can’t simply be comped and pasted between tracks. Rain in pCARS is much worse than in GT7 tho.Project CARS 2 did the same thing in 2017 with LiveTrack.
Well it does have weather. Just not rainy weather.Does Watkins Glen have weather or not?
I believe it is because the scenery lighting for the various situations is pre-rendered to be able to run at acceptable framerates on the PS4.I don't get why PD have always had this issue of rain having to be specially added to individual circuits. Every other race game with weather just universally has it available on every track, no problem.

No but I rather have good rain on a few tracks than mediocre rain on all tracks. Why, because some dude on Youtube said so?
It's literally in the headline. Wtf.The Headliner is easily the suzuki escudo wtf
What is mediocre about it and what makes GT7 good?No but I rather have good rain on a few tracks than mediocre rain on all tracks.
I cannot believe how bad they are on those stuff! No sense at all. Brands hatch, this and so many others without rain. So annoying. That’s the thing that i find incredibly frustrating. JUST PD doing PD. Thumbs down for them 👎🏻I don't get why PD have always had this issue of rain having to be specially added to individual circuits. Weird to think that all of the British tracks in GT7, lack the option to have wet conditions.Brands hatch, this and so many others without rain. So annoying.
Circuit Experiences are good for money though. My biggest problem so far (like many others here) is that the content they usually add with each update can be completed within a single sitting. In my opinion they should add 10-15 races with each update.
The circuit experiences don't mean all that much to me as I much prefer to race.
