Please don't tell me that a second Mangusta will be added as one of the 3 cars next month. This is a cool partnership and all, but it would be depressing to see a straight duplicate like that taking the place of a real new car in the already small 3-car package we get every month.

Very likely. It's confirmed to be arriving on the last Thursday of August, regular update day.

All these items and the special edition De Tomaso Mangusta will be available to enjoy in-game from 25 August.

Not a fan of fashion but I'm worried about next month's update. As many of you I'd prefer 3 (or more) new cars rather than suits and styles made by a fashion designer.
Going a bit off topic (sorry) the Diabolique Team Ford RS200 from Portugal was sponsored by Gucci (among others) if I recall correctly

That guy can handle fashion clothes like that
Yeah, to be fair, he's doubled down on it, and it's become the norm.

I have a very low tolerance for fashion, on top of that, I don't like any of the Dior stuff that's coming. But, I wanted to highlight the connection between this game we play, the GT sponsored 'Maestro', and the fashion world.

I personally think it's extremely cool to see a fashion brand like Dior represented in a game like GT7, it tells something about brand value to have such a brand represented in the game. And the criticism is about as far fetched as it can be, the game is stuffed with advertising for loads of brands that only want to sell more stuff :)

How is this a "partnership" - doesn't that imply that Dior is bringing something to the table for us? This is a sponsorship like Tag Huer. "We are pleased to announce we will be making money by advertising to our user base!"
These "partnerships" are just how Kaz makes new friends at the yacht club.

Created a post about this yesterday when it was announced, then a mod here locked my thread in a while saying "we really don't need another topic on this..." and linked to their topic created much later. Amazing content creation :P (I really don't care, it's a silly topic, was just poorly handled) sashay away

Nope.

Firstly the moderator who locked the thread wasn't the one that created this one.
Secondly, no moderator created this one: it's an automatically created thread as a result of an article being created.
Finally, and most importantly of all, it was posted two hours before yours (well, two and a half, but who's counting?) not "much later".

So, if we're quite done with this weird objection...

alright, my mistake then, apologies

I cannot fathom how tone deaf you have to be to even announce this **** while your main product is catching fire...And not in a good way.

How about making partnerships with companies that are actually involved in the automotive world and culture, like say, Liberty Walk, RWB, Rocket Bunny?

Here was I thinking they had it just right with Haggerty and we would see more companies like that getting involved with GT...Not a ****ing fashion brand.

I just hope that Mangusta is not taking an slot on the next 3 DLC cars that might come next month, that would be ****ing stupid...

Can't wait for the Victoria's Secret Mini Cooper and accompanying two piece racing suit in Sept.

And the Citroen GT by Chanel in Oct with the world's first in game car fragrance. Stimulate your senses with base notes of vanilla and octane, hints of overheating PS4, and the unmistakable top note of money rubbing together.

Followed by the Supreme Honda Beat dropping in Nov (only 250 available globally, so better get your bots ready).

And who can forget the hotly anticipated Macy's Christmas car collection featuring storied motorsport powerhouses like Tiffany & Co., Gucci, and Louis Vuitton.

Just wait until they put a Lada Riva in Adidas tracksuit livery...
