Great racing today guys! Sorry about that last race getting a little rough, for whatever reason this guy seemed to think this is how you pass people? He was doing it to others as well so I ended up just dealing with him myself, a person can only take so many bump passes. Great racing by everyone else though!

Thanks for coming out. Turnout was pretty amazing. There must’ve been at least 10+ players on the grid in each of the first four races. I’m just sorry that Race 4 was ruined for a lot of people. Wish I could’ve finished it myself, but duty called.

Feel free to post videos or screenshots of today’s races. I’ll try to get some up myself later this weekend.

Next week will feature 80s/90s JDM. Because of the next update being so JDM heavy, it would’ve been criminal not to have an event honoring the latest entries. Depending on the availability of weather options, one of the races may feature rainy/wet conditions. I’ll also consider implementing Spa as the series opener.

I'm glad to be able to join in the fun. Initially I had my dinner plans on, but they were called off.

The Renault was really a nightmare to drive on stock suspension and boosted power, because of all the understeer I kept putting it off track while trying to find the limit. Until then I had to tune the suspension aggressively and handling was much better. Though it was still a struggle throughout the races, especially the grid start which is tricky to nail without excessive wheelspin.

I look forward to the next race.

I'm not qualified nor have the rightfulness of pointing a firm finger. But in my opinion the first two was not a clean pass, the third was perhaps a minor incident and the fourth on the edge .
I watched through the footage, the first initially started out nice. You gave him ample room but yet he chose to knock on your rear to take the position. Same goes to second.

But I'd say the third was relatively minor contact considering it's round a tight corner, despite him braking late. Understandable incident I'd say. but the fourth was a little on the edge as he tried to turn into you at the entry of the corner. Noticed that he tried to gas on early in an ambitious attempt but it ended up pushing you a little off.

It's really frustrating that such consecutive unsportsman like behavior is observed. I think that's probably my thoughts on the incident.

I agree with you for sure, the last two weren’t as bad as the first two, I had just had enough of it by that point and it seemed as if it wasn’t going to end. I got frustrated, I shouldn’t have, my apologies to @Satomiblood for causing ruckus in his room. Won’t happen again!

Nah, it wasn’t a problem at all. I should’ve booted him after Kyoto. I wish there was a way to boot problematic drivers without having to leave a race. I was actually having a bit of fun at Nurb. The GP layout is one that I don’t feature very often. I honestly don’t even know why. Maybe I’ll feature it next week.

The 1st couple of races were not that clean for me but I did just throw a car together and raced it. The FD RX-7 felt pretty good by the end but it still needs some work.

Here's my pov stream from today.

Just looking at the Nurburgring GP race and Lewis tried passing me at the chicane from 6 tenths behind. I tried to give him a penalty by going off track but I don't know how to pull off that trick.

The specs for this Saturday are up. I need to update the car list to reflect the upcoming DLC additions, but everything else is pretty much set. I’m going to most likely host a test lobby on Tuesday evening (6:00 EST) at Red Bull to try out the rain conditions if anyone is interested. Maybe we can do a test run at Spa as well.

Looks great... But I'm having second thoughts on Honda Beat with 276 BHP... It seems totally mind blowing for that capacity.

The Beat doesn’t go up that high. I think it tops out at around 120 HP, if not a bit more than that. I just threw it on the list since it meets the other criteria. I might actually use it, but it’s pretty much a LOL car in that event.

Not surprisingly, there's a chance that Spa won't actually be part of this update. I want to wait until the update officially drops before I make a decision on a replacement track. Car list has been updated.

I'm very much looking forward to driving the original S2000. :)
*Maybe not in the rain, though. :scared: I think the new Mitsubishi will be AWD. If so, I'd go with that one (there's already so darn many Imprezas in the game).
I only want to use the new ones. 👍

I would normally drive the Supra, but I think I'm gonna give the S2000 a go. It was my dream car when I was a teenager! Now, I just need to give it a good paint job. If I'm gonna be in last, I'm gonna do it in style

I think everyone should get some practice laps in on a private lobby and get at least 1 car setup for wet conditions at RBR. It's gonna be hell otherwise.

I'm going to host something tonight. I'm not sure if that'll work for everyone, but I agree that people should at least run a private lobby to test out the physics.

I won't be around this evening unfortunately - unless this storm knocks out our power. But...then I won't be able to race

Was driving the S2000 around the wet track this morning. Seemed like it had a definite limit. If you went just a tiiiiny bit too fast coming into a turn, it was into the grass with me.

That reminds me: I've got to post a Scapes photo showcasing the new cars. That's probably something else I'll try to do later tonight.

Okay, so I tried the different rain conditions out and I think we’re best suited for the dusk condition. How does everyone else feel?

I barely had time to try the patch as I was away last night with a date. And my PS4 just woke up to have the patch running. :ouch:

Meanwhile, this horror car appeared right in front of me while I was waiting at the shopping mall... :banghead:

Last time I saw a Renault in a shopping mall it was the F1 car. I'll post a pic of it if I can find it on fb.
