First race just wrapped up (2-player grid). Is anyone else planning on showing up? Thinking of closing the room in 10 minutes if no one from the thread pops in.
 
Darn! I was so busy I missed this. I may be able to join in the future. This week has been busy. Sorry @Satomiblood - a lot of times my Saturdays are free

Edit - we need to help each other out and get people. I know there are a lot of good racers out there!

I agree. It’s tough for smaller groups to get going. We’re up against some stiff competition in the form of more established leagues. There’s a shortage of available players. I believe the issue for a lot of folks is commitment. Schedules don’t always align. It doesn’t help that there are members that have multiple threads on the first page. That’s not a dig on them. There’s no rule against it as far as I’m aware, but it’s a bit discouraging for smaller startups trying to promote their lobbies.

Yeah, for sure! I definitely like when I don't have to make a big commitment, like a series that lasts a few months.

I'll be putting everyone that shows interest on the sign-up sheet as tentative. On Friday, I'll check back with everyone that's commented to see if they're closer to affirmative. If you know ahead of time that you can't make it or you've lost interest in participating, please let me know as soon as possible so I can update the sign-up sheet accordingly. I want the sign-up sheet to be a more accurate reflection of who is able to participate.

Also of note: I won't be doing qualifiers. I think the practice/lap race format has worked a lot better. People can warm up, test out tunes, and set times for grid placement. I do, however, think the qualifying option is a solid addition to lobbies and will probably utilize it for endurance races. But for a couple of sprint races? Nah. It really slows the process down.

I'm working on an N300 event limited to turbocharged cars. I'm going through the list of permitted cars, so that list is still a work in progress. I don't know if it should include ALL turbocharged cars that are N300-eligible or just a select number of them. Is anyone interested in participating this Saturday?
