Missed that, thanks. 👍 Still holding off until a lot more real tracks are added, not enough for me at present to warrant buying the game.

In fairness, even just having new layouts of tracks is good. Maggiore is a nice circuit as it is and I've seen someone say that the new layouts are well designed.

The new GT League Events... do you win cars from those? Like the F150 Raptor event, do I win a Raptor at the end??

What would be the point in that? You would already have one to do the event.

Instead of buying the 20 mil credit cars, why not just win them? :P

I know I'm late, but I have to say: What a juicy update! These cars + Monza... amazing! And GT League is expanding too! The main question is: How's the sound of the cars?

Can't wait to see those photos with some Supra!:drool::drool:

20,000,000 for a single car

It's as if PDI never learn or evolve. Utterly ridiculous. Just as bad as having 3 ovals with no suitable cars, then releasing 20 DLC cars and not one of them is a NASCAR.
That car is sexy. I've only seen one in my life. A black one. It's like s unicorn to me. ^^
wow only one? My mate had one about 15 years ago and use to let me and my bro thrash it. It wasn't stock as he bought it from another friend who was a rally driver. Was really really quick.
I disagree, there is many ways to earn credits in GT S and this is one way:

after 12 min in Premium Sports Lounge - Blue Moon Bay with the Ferrari F40, i haven't tried the Porsche Cup Endurance, but you can earn more than 400.000 with clean race bonus 50% and there is more ways to earn credits without using glitches and grinding for credits has always been a big part in GT.

I was afraid of this, but i had a feeling they would cost 20 mill each, but i'm not surprised, GT has always been about grinding for credits to buy cars, right now i'm happy PD didn't include the Ford Ford Mark IV or else i had to grind even more .
You surely jest? You disagree then point out it takes like 50 races to buy one?

Awesome job at Track build planning PD!

Just tested all three Lago Maggiore new layouts and it feels like they really knew what they want to do with the full track. I know they planned these layouts before they started to model the main track, but these shorts feel so natural, and the crossings are so well placed, that i would say these tracks are planned by some sort of a race-tracks guru (sorry Herman Tilke, you not in this category).

I just don't understand people, who complain about these "fake" tracks, cause those made by PD are always top-notch. Race tracks based on RL locations, where you wouldn't even imagine to put a track (Eiger Nordwand - yup, there is that train station you passing by, yet there is I think only hiking trails, same goes with Dragon's Trail, or the Matterhorn pack in GT6). Grindelwald, Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, all the city circuits with great flow, Special Stages, I think there was not a single "fake" track which wasn't enjoyable (if I don't count dirt tracks at all).

Cannot wait to see other tracks layouts, especially Dragon Trail one.

Personally I am happy with any addition to the game. It makes it bigger, better, more enjoyable.
Maybe because they game shipped with only 6 real world tracks? And only one of the fake tracks aren't garbage? I think that's why people complain about fake tracks. They certainly don't measure well against PDI's catalogue of fantasy tracks.

I DON'T WANT ANY SPOILERS.
The car dies at the end.

Well, apparently, all those outlets were wrong. It's a Gr.X car, which is exactly what I feared. It should have been N500, but, oh well. Pointless addition.

And the 20mil credits for the 330 and the XJ? 20mil for Gr.x cars?

I REALLY REALLY hope Gr.X get's dropped in the future and cars get re-categorized.

What is with all the crying over the Le Mans Prices for goodness sake? They always were crazy money in every game but they were also WINNABLE. Why does everyone all of a sudden become an expert on how games are made and how cars should be classified? PSurely just play the game and stop complaining about stuff that doesn't matter please ...for the sake of other's sanity!

I've also seen one in black as well, though it was a modified one. But my dad called it a 🤬 car... Clearly he has no idea how special the car is in the car community.

Regarding the new update, it's wonderful! 👍 Oh, and Supraaaa! It's freaking beautiful!!

Yes, i disagreed with he saying "there just no way to make enough cash in the game", there is many ways to earn credits in this game, but you have to grind for it, no question about that, but GT have always been about grinding for credits.

Edit.

We can even grind over night, Custom Race - Mercedes AMG GT3 against a Gr.1 car on Northern Isle Speedway, 12 hours, 2 cars, boost off, professional, that will give you 933.000 and 7.400 xp for second place, use a controller and tape the R1 and leave the controller on charging, i usally do this if i'm watching someting on the TV, sleeping or if i'm not home and can't grind myself.

But i do most of the grinding myself:

+ some second and third places as well, i have to start grinding again, because i'm broke after i bought the Ferrari 330 P4, the credits i have now is from second place custom race 2 laps on Monza with the ferrari 330 P4.

I like the BOP changes, making the 911 a little slower in a straight line and bumping up the Corvette's power should be a good change for all the Corvette fans out there who thought the car was too slow. The only odd change was the Citroen nerf, nobody was using that thing before and now they made it slightly worse? That seems to be a little odd to say the least.

Also the FT-1 in Gr.X? And you can't even pit the two Le Mans racers together in a race? That's really stupid.

Do the endurance races this is where the bigger prizes are ....I presume. You'll need to finish first obviously. Otherwise wait for the wheels of fate (car generator on daily car whatnot). Don't have to mindlessly grind all the time GT can be fun. Tip practice the course (for a good lap time in the car you intend to drive first) It will prevent you learning you can't win a third of the way through a 30 lap race :gtpflag:

Whats the verdict on the Supra? Does it tune to crazy high levels? That 2JZ engine was good for 1000hp in real life.

Unfortunate to hear the McLaren F1 sound is underwhelming. Looking forward to digging into the latest DLC this evening after work.

@lancia delta hf you're from the UK mate. :P In Portugal, seeing a Supra, NSX or Z is quite rare. Let alone drive one. ^^
Yes, saw quite a few here. Still see some and the Nissan 300. I even was a Porsche 718 spyder ( the James Dean one) parked down by my house a few moths ago. Now that was a surprise.

OK fair point. But I'm sure the issue the poster had was that it isn't viable, rather than completely impossible. Also the fact GT was always about a grind and thus a poorly strategized single player, doesn't mean that its any less dumb today. Its also the reason many have simply moved on from a game that is stale. 20 years of the same stuff and they still can't learn from their flaws/drawbacks that are nothing for the players enjoyment.

I'm happy with this update but still I want Circuit de Sarthe, Spa, & Daytona. Maybe in the coming year or so.
I kind of doubt we'll see Daytona with it's road course variant. The other 2 are likely though, or at least they better be. Laguna Seca is a must too IMO.

Gr.x is essentially useless. Have you tried to make a Gr.x server? If you open the room up to anything and just comment on what type of car you are allowing, you spend every moment kicking people out of the room. Try it. It's an exercise in frustration. So, then you are down to friends only.

How many people will buy a 20mil credit car?

The problem comes from PD being like Satan and us having a deal with them. They say, "Here is this wonderful content. Would you like to have it?" We say "OMG YES!!". Then they come back with "Here you go, oh, and by the way, I made it essentially useless for you!"

And yes, it does matter. I paid for the use of this content and any content coming down the pipe. It is rightfully mine. They have the obligation of making it usable.

How about this, what if it were only available for use in the Scapes? You would have it, but you couldn't drive it anywhere and you couldn't race it against anyone. That would suck, no? In essence, that's what we got. I personally don't care that they are 20mil, I care that it's a waste of 20mil because all I will be able to do with them is take pictures. THAT is the problem.

Also the fact GT was always about a grind and thus a poorly strategized single player, doesn't mean that its any less dumb today.
I hope PD never change this, i like to earn credits and buy my own cars, i even delete most reward cars, because i want to grind for credits so i can buy them myself, so i think it's safe to say we just have to agree to disagree about the credit earning system in GT games :).

It's amusing how people are upset at the 20 mil cars.

  1. What did you expect?
  2. Give it a month and you'll have 5 of everything from the prize roulette. You'll be using them as doorstops. To level out a wobbly table. Drink coasters. To put a nail in the wall because you're too lazy to go downstairs and get the hammer.

Another nice location which players can't use. Classic PD!

Hm? This is from Monza and that track came today, so we can use this track.

The picture is from Monza without chicane and we can drive here as much as we want, including the today's version of this track.
