Hold on, didn't Assetto Corsa Competition launch with one car one track? Was that full price?

Every update, does it matter if we get one car per update? Does it matter we get one track whenever? 300 cars in this game right now. There's got to be at least one car, any one player has not tried, that they can take to the track and enjoy.

Actually that's the Beta. People who bought the Beta will get the full game. Whoever bought it day 1 basically got like 75% off the full game. Each update cost more to buy the beta.

Yeah i don't understand the car being Gr.X when we have many others that do not belong in N.
My first mind was that it's a mistake, like the Supra not being in Premium Lounge with its 100k price tag. PD fixed that.

I took the R8 to the Nostalgic races and no chance in heck, to get to the front. Now, PD could either be testing multi-class or it's a programming error. We'll see in a few day's time.
I mean, the R8 isn't like the slow Alfa C2388y095884039u, whatever it is.

It's underwhelming how this update turned out smaller than the supplementary update in March. However I'm glad that menu music shuffle was fixed and the 5 lap Gr. 1 event at Le Mans finally happened.

I have no problem with the digital instrument cluster in the AE86. It's pure 1980s nostalgia and I couldn't care less how it looked in some movie. I'm more worried about the atrocious "3door" plates, dragging down an otherwise sleek exterior.

Speaking of car-specific gripes, the 962 C should not have been the short tail and the Fit should have been the RS instead of the Hybrid, which feels useless on track. It's also disappointing how the Huayra's blacked out main gauges weren't fixed.

I'm sorta happy the R8 isn't a N-class car because I remember it being a HUGE PAIN to drive in stock trim. So I don't have to worry about testing it :) Can't wait to see how the Fit, AE86, and TT do at Tsukuba today.

The 'problem' is that the digital dash never left japan and all other markets got the classic twin big dial that every 1980s Japanese car got.

Its no big deal.

However yes the cheesy number plates has been a long time issue with me.

The cars should have randomised numberplates? And your car should have the option for custom plates at purchase time.

Having "Renault Classic" Or whatever just looks weird.

I think there should just be an option for no plates at all. I don't get the infatuation with license plates for cars in a racing game. Seems every game has them and they're just ugly and pointless. Like I can't honestly tell the car in front of me is an AE86 and need it shoved on a plate in a novelty fashion.

So, what's the reason? If we are allowed to know... Or if it's even known, that is
I've covered it a couple of times on the forums, but it's a dispute over the licensing fees.

UK car manufacturers talk to each other a lot via various professional bodies, and also because most of the personnel have worked with each other, for each other, and in all of the companies. Lotus learned that it was getting less money for its cars appearing in GT Sport than some other manufacturers, which, as I understand it, came down to the fact that Lotus had agreed terms which diminished over time - the delay from the original 2016 launch to the 2017 launch reduced the money it was due.

I'm not sure why it's not resolved yet though, as we're over 18 months in now...

Can't PD just pay them the same they pay the others?

More likely Sony than PD (I don't really understand the cash flow around Sony and PD, but as no-one else does either, that's fine), but I imagine that's the basis of Lotus's angle in this dispute. I also imagine it's not quite that simple - after all, there was a contract...

Almost Everyone that plays GT Sport would love more Cars & Tracks. Thing is, they all want DIFFERENT Cars & Tracks.:confused::confused:
Thanks to PD for supplying all of this FREE DLC !! 👍

Hopefully, everything that's in GT Sport at the release of the PS5, can be included within the next Gran Turismo straight away.

It's great to get 5 new free cars. It's disappointing that G29 users still have to drive them with dull & lifeless FFB, a nonlinear throttle, & a deliberately broken clutch (if using a shifter). Not to mention the wonky tyre physics that they keep mindlessly & endlessly fiddling with...

It's a bonnet strap! In ultra 4k 20,000 polygons! I can die happy now.
It’s this detail that makes EVERY car in these packs a gem. We’ve finally reached a point where cars are replicated in 100% photorealistic detail. It makes me appreciate a car like the Renault even more. On a related note, it’s also one of the reasons I quit collecting scale models. They cannot reproduce this fine detail.

It’s also why I despair at some so called car enthusiasts who dismiss certain models. Not even checking them out or giving them a drive. Some of my favourite cars in GTS are models I previously had no interest in. Every car is made with real passion and you begin to understand why they appeal to other areas of the car community.

As someone who feels the game is seriously lacking in tracks it comes across as a serious misplacement of priorities to have over 1000 scapes in the game and counting with every update. It's the embodiment of style over substance.
The photographers working on Scapes will also work on reference photos for cars, tracks, and all manner of projects that go into a title the size of GT. They aren’t the ones doing the track modelling.

Photography is also a huge part of the GT community. In fact PD where trend setters as this is now a huge part of current videogame culture.

Even if they give us Goodwood Circuit its just a clubman sunday cup type thing that is ok as a box checking exercise but otherwise... eh.

I'd rather have Silverstone any day of the week and I'm really ambivalent about that track.
Goodwood is one of the most historic circuits in the UK. It’s also one of the quickest as it’s unchanged from its 50’s/60’s heyday. It will be quite different from anything currently in the game. Tracks like this give me great hope other smaller, or less familiar, circuits will make their way to the game.

We know Silverstone will come. We know Spa is ready and going through licensing issues. We know a number of FIA finalists are aware of future cars & tracks coming to the game.
