Yes and No! I have played Dirt Rally with a controller and it is much much better than GT Sport's. I agree that Gran Turismo used to have great controller support but with GTS they seen to complete have missed the point. It feels numb and there isn't almost any feedback to the player. Understeer and oversteer are almost none existant in controller feedback. I went back to Dirt and the difference was directly obvious. Both games are played with no aids.

I found it all to have a very strange feeling. A semi fixed 3th person view and physics are sluggish and unresponsive. At least for the slower N300 I found that particulary noticable. The racecar seems to handle better but also here I simply miss feedback. Brakingpoints, acceleration, cornering have all their issues when playing with the DS4. It doesn't give the player a lot of confidence while playing. Dirt Rally feels more planted and in touch with the underground you are on.

I think I need to invest a bit more time in GTS to see if this feeling fades after more play but I ain't very motivated :embarrassed:
I would think @marvthegamer is an excellent and reliable source regarding playing GTS with the DS4 and in consideration to his background in gaming (in particular being a casual racing gamer). He's gone from being a casual to having Forest Gump-like skills after practicing daily for about four weeks. If you can, Marvin, your input would be appreciated.

Love,
A-J

I'm an average racer at best. My pole time however was around 2 seconds faster than the driver starting in second.

I got clear at the start and just drove a nice steady race as I assume carnage occured behind me.

Didn't even need to push the car either, my pole time was a 1.39 and I drove 1.41 to 1.42 in the race.

Matchmaking could do with some work.

Hopefully as you rack up the miles, the matchmaking puts you with players close to your skill level. Or are you just sorted by the safety rating?

Hi,

you just have to survive the first corner, then it's easy going:

Yes i agree with the matchmaking i got a 1.36.1 at brans and the guys it put me with was 1.40s beat them by a country mile.

So just had my first race of the beta. Started 12th, finished 8th. Brake assist was on as default (how do you turn this blasphemy off? I can't see an option)

More feedback is always welcome and I would like to know if others feel the same as me. Btw add Driveclub and AC as well for better handling with ds4 than GTS.

Will try GTS with a wheel one of these days.

Just finished my second race. The first Gr. 4 race at Brands Hatch was pretty straight forward, it was an easy win. The second race at Dragon Trail with the road cars however was a complete mess, got taken out multiple times so I only finished seventh.
