I had two great races yesterday evening at Dragon Trail with my gr.4 Gt-R, managed to win both and now I finally moved to class D, hoping to meet better drivers in terms of sportmanship. Today I got the mighty Walkenhorst BMW M6. What a great car to drive!

Anyone else finding the otherwise logical slow down penalty being wildly off at Nurb Gr3 at the moment? Getting several second slow down penalties in qualifying for overshooting single corners to the outside grass and sometimes to the outside wall. Not like one could gain faster time doing that..:indiff:

To be really honest I have little to no interest participating in races with unlocked tuning options. I have no time to fiddle with this stuff and the difference in times is gigantic.

This and people figured what cars dominate each class so it's pointless if you don't have such car - again the difference is HUGE.

But oh well I'll try to get in some races to provide some data to PD.

GT6 quick race had better balanced cars.
So much this.

I thought the whole point of GTS was to provide a racing platform for 'everyone', not a platform which means racing stock means you may as well kiss a podium finish goodbye.

I'm pretty aggravated by this to be honest, I wish it was all left on the track to fight for.

Yeah, that thing is hopeless launching.

This is the tune I made for it for Willow Springs.

You'll likely need to mess with transmission for a different track. The rest should be pretty good.

Thanks for your help, it feels much better. I couldn't put the values in for two of the spring rate because your values are in American.

Actually had some fun last night racing online. Yes there were some bad drivers punting me off the track, & yes there were some idiots who thought they could out brake me & ended up in the barrier. But I quite liked the GTR & Dragaon Tail combo. Even though the track is unrealistic imo, it's still a fun drive, & the cars are so forgiving. Managed to get into 3 races on Big Willow, managed to get in 3 races on Dragan Tail & qualified on pole for all three & won two of them! :D The game is very simcade, but they've still nailed that "fun factor" they always seem to do in every game.

Im nearly 40 and dont know anyone else with a playstation 4.In real life apart from you guys on here.
I'm with you. 👍
50 next year here. :P

Still, I've had many highly memorable times racing with guys and gals I've never personally met, as most of my racing mates are from the EU Playstation forum, and therefore halfway around the world for me.
I find it great fun, and definitely worth continuing.
It's been a long time since we all got together and raced, so Sport can't come soon enough. :sly:

Downloaded and fired-up the game last night finally. These were my cars:

I was happy to find that I had a manual transmission car, but then I didn't find a way of getting the TH8A shifter working (and the clutch pedal)... Am I missing something?

The clutch and shifter works fine for the Lancer, but doesn't work for the TTS, the Genesis gr.4 or any gr.3 car that i've driven so far.

EDIT: Using the TH8A shifter too.

Weird... If it works on the Lancer it should work on the WRX, too.

Did you have to change anything in the settings to make it work?

I enjoy reading your Love/HATE relationship with GT Sport :sly:

Spring rate is going to be all the way down in the back and I think 75% on the slider in the front. That front number could need to be different for a bumpier track like Dragon Trail, as compared to Willow. Maybe 50% on the slider instead. But I would go with a very low number in the rear.

Its only going to work if the car actually has a clutch as the lancer does. The TTS and the gr.3 gr.4 cars dont have a clutch.

Yea I figured as such, still doesn't explain why it doesn't work with the WRX, according to 35mm. Can't say for sure because I don't have the WRX. Maybe it doesn't have a clutch either?

Hi,

once again a gt3 as daily price for the "marathon". Now I have a garage full of gt3, but only one gt4 (SLS) and one N300 (Evora).

Tried a few hotlaps today with the Evora at Big Willow, couldn't make it better than a 1:30 - best of the top ten is a D-rated TTS with an unbelievable 1:20.

WTF?

D.

1 30 xxx is a good time, last night I took a look at the board, and the leaders were in the 29s. I don't think a 1 20 is possible.
