The black outline in my streams seems to still be there, I don't know if it got better since I changed the display area settings on my ps4. I'll have to check once my last stream has finished processing. It looks perfect in my TV, so who knows what output setting I might be missing.

@SlimCharles and those asking about ps+, I don't know if it's required. I have PS+ since I got my PS4. The online races probably require it, but I don't think that everyone who got the beta invites are doing online races.

Maybe is not required, but being Sport a online focus game, probably is a very important point to get the beta. Thanks for answering!

Gosh, you are really haunting in my dreams! I mean literally! From now on I'm staying up all night watching your streams (it is about 12 am here when the stream started). By the way keep up the good work there Marvin! We always waiting for your next stream.

Got the invite code while I was away on vacation. Loaded it up today and so far so good. The content is very limited with only a few cars, arcade race and time trials on a single track (Brands Hatch GP). Hope to participate in the online features but they are available kind of late for me (10pm to 2am). Graphics are great like you should expect, game sounds are good with some new sounds like suspension clanking, menu music is nice, menu interfaces are slick.

I'm hoping for some more personalization to the HUD (or the MFD - Multi Function Display as it's referred in game) as it's a little busy for my tastes. No option to turn it off (yet?).

Just wish I had a PS4 compatible wheel to truly test the driving mechanics and physics thoroughly. Literally haven't played GT with a controller for more than a decade. With some practice I'm getting the hang of it after using a G27 and DFGT the past 5 years. Still, the car handling reminds me of past GT's from the PS2 era.

Cool new features are stewards along the track with flags. Haven't fully tested their authenticity but they are a nice touch.

There are more tire options than GT5 and 6, with the addition of 'super soft' compounds of each tire type (comfort, sport, and racing). Haven't tried them all yet.

That's about it for now. Looking forward to more testing.

Nah. The only road cars in the beta right now are in N300; if the P1 was in, it'd most likely be in N1000.

Hey Marvin: your tv is probably overscanning, so now that you fixed the Display Area the PS4 is actually underscanning in order to cancel the difference in pixel scaling.

Search in your TV settings the option that gives you 1:1 pixel mapping, then fix the PS4 display area again. Name of this TV option can be different from model to model (Full Pixel, Widescreen Full...)

It's important to fix because otherwise pixels aren't showed at their proper size, resulting in a worse image quality.
