Well, that was certainly a different experience than the first 3 nights. Instead of going up against people with extremely low SR numbers who drove off the road easily, I went up against people with higher SR numbers than my own, and consequently got my ass handed to me. Dead last in the first race, 10th out of 15 in the 2nd and I never really got that close to moving up from there.

Is... Is that an invite link I see in my notifications?! IMG_3755.JPG

Canadian here with a beta code, but mine is invalid as well. Tried on the PS4 and web browser. Are the codes not activated or something?
Damn, I just realized this was why it's not working for me since it tells me the region code doesn't match my account. I swear this BETA was for US + Canada or North America, no? Any way to change your account region?

Edit: Ok I just see United States region in the news page... I don't get why I was able to sign up for the beta and be granted an invite code if it's not available in my country. Thanks for teasing me, Sony. No way to change an account region either. Whatever, I would've only had a day or two to play it as I'm leaving to work abroad in a few days and am very busy now. Would've liked to at least try it though.

Some advice for Northern Isle: the ideal line through all 4 corners is either mid-mid-in or out-mid-in. Go out-in-out and you'll push up into the wall.

Also, drop the throttle all the way on entry, roll it almost all the way through 1 and 3, and pick right back up before you hit 2 and 4. That'll allow you to shoot down off the banking and get a nice run along the straight.

EDIT: @Wardez tells me that this may not be the optimal line for everyone. Apparently, if you're using a Merc, you can run out-out-out and not even lift, instead only downshifting on entry.

Download codes are tied to the store they originate from. Yep, US codes can never be redeemed on a Canadian account. Which probably isn't entirely clear on the official site, since the Canadian one links to the US blog.

Truth be told, you could sign up with any account for the beta. Up until today though, it seemed nobody outside the US other than a very select few were given codes, which implied some sort of rough cross-referencing. But now it seems EU folks who signed up with US accounts are getting them, while Canadians are getting non-working US codes with their original CDN accounts. Simply stunning.

Just did the last Brands Hatch race and a lot of the people in it disappeared before the race started.

Yep. I noticed that pole favorite Wardez was actually starting behing me without a qualifying time registered. Knew something wasn't right from the start.

GOOD NEWS!
I got beta access! (And the Dacia Sandero)
BAD NEWS!
I cant redeem the code for some reason, it says its expired or invalid. Anyone else having this issue?
